The front desk staff was more than accommodating during my 2-1/2 week stay with them. They provided daily transportation to work, ordered miscellaneous items for us that we needed during our stay, and personally escorted us around town to show us the best restaurants, spas, etc. Mr. Lee was exceptional; he befriended is and made us feel at home-6,000 miles away. The beds are hard, but Mr. Lee was able to procure new mattress toppers to make our stay more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back in a few weeks!

Very close to Camp Humphreys, short walk to the walk in gate. Rooms clean. Make sure you get a room with washer machine and drying rack, you can bring few clothes and wash as often as you like but bring clothes that quick dry. No breakfast included but the Always Breakfast resturant opens at 7am weekdays. Enjoyable stay with friendly staff. They speak some english so if your taxi driver doesnt know where it is call the hotel and they will tell the driver how to get there especially if your getting a taxi at the train station.

We stayed here when we first moved to Korea with our two young children. The rooms had everything we needed and the bathroom was very nice. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful. There is a cute rooftop area that was a nice place to stretch our legs when the late summer rains got bad.

Picked this place as it was one of the few in the area that advertised parking. Hotel was nowhere near full, but the parking garage was full to overflowing. They don't have breakfast on Sunday. Sign (bad English translation) seems to say that they have no maid service on Sunday. One of the few hotels I've seen where they actually have a COMPUTER in the room. I didn't use it as I was afraid it might have covid all over it. (I'm paranoid). They have very fancy electronic toilets. Not just the seat, the whole toilet is wireless remote controlled. But directions are in Korean only, so good luck figuring out how to work it. Oddly, there is a sign with more bad English translation that says to not flush anything including toilet paper? Location is good if you aren't driving your own car to get there and back. (nowhere to park). Shower was great...lots of hot water, good water pressure. Overall I'd say it was Ok for a Korean hotel. If they had adequate parking and had breakfast available every day, I'd rate it 4 out of 5...

I love this hotel. While it is a 30 minute drive to Camp Humphreys, the hotel is really nice. Each room has Air Conditioning, the hallways and main desk don't so it gets warm in the summer. The staff is very helpful and speaks English. Breakfast is available but is a traditional Korean breakfast. I stayed in a Suite that was very large with 2 beds and a couch. The bathroom is very large which is great. I would stay here again if I every have to go back to Pyeongtaek, South Korea.

Located outside Osan Air Base south of Osan city, north of Pyongtaek.
I stayed here as a military traveler in October 2017. I'll get right to what made this both average and interesting. The averages were mostly things that were truly average or maybe a bit of a disappointment. The rooms seem worn and it's a cycle that all hotel rooms go through. The carpet is pretty well worn and could use a good shampooing. You see this because the carpet at the edges of the walls is still in pretty good shape whereas the carpet in high traffic areas definitely seems well worn. The furniture was an odd mix. The room had a little eating table with two orange chairs styled as an old "modern" interpretation. On the other side of the room was a lounge chair much more contemporary. A porcelain lamp styled in closely clustered gold roses sat on a bedside table. While it was maybe the ugliest lamp I've ever seen it was kind of quirky and cool; where else will you ever see one like this? The room had overall tones of gold. The bathroom had hairs here and there as if the last cleaning was done pretty quickly. I noticed a much more thorough cleaning upon my return after working the next day. That was good but the bathroom just should have been cleaner. Most of the bathroom items are older and/or worn. The room came equipped with fairly large locker-closets with a few hangers each as well as a room safe. The interesting items are a combination of items that were pretty good in my opinion and other things that are maybe just a bit quirky or just unexpected. First off, the room was bigger than expected and I'd have to say that my 6th floor room was really a suite. So, for a traveling couple, a little more room to spread out. Fast wireless internet, a DVD player (and there are tons of DVDs to watch in the lobby), and a large flatscreen TV were all available. The breakfasts offered by this hotel were...pretty fantastic. Koreans like to offer lots of items and don't be surprised when you see rice, eggs, kimchi, bulgogi, and even potato salad all offered. It's sort of a mini buffet and there was a greater variety of items that you'd really imagine, all prepared by a group of dedicated ladies. "Mini" meaning lots of little plates and containers of items versus a large buffet with food in hotel pans. The lounge that breakfast is served on the 5th floor. I really can't say enough about these breakfasts and they were a real standout. Another totally expected thing was the toilet; yes, the toilet! My room had a smart toilet and I must say that this was even more unexpected than the great breakfasts each day. The seat is heated and is bidet-equipped. Anyway, given the general state or rundown that a lot of the room suffers from, this was an unexpected surprise for sure! The room is equipped with a wall unit air-conditioner/heater and also a small heater on wheels. No issues getting the room to your liking. The fridge is larger than a super small one that you might usually see in hotels and the freezer and fridge portion each had their own door. The locations is fine. Osan Airbase is a fairly short walk away and that means that the shopping district just outside of it is as well. If you're staying here, it's likely that you're here for one of these or maybe both. If you really like to travel, you likely price nice accommodations. Things that help you relax and things that make you a loyal customer. The room I stayed in could be made into a very nice luxury suite but not sure if the owners could both foot the expense and adjust rates to pay for it. While the World Hotel had its ups and downs, the ups more than made up for the downs. The items unexpected and some of the general quirkiness of some of these made my stay quite pleasant. While my overall review would seem to be "average" I have nonetheless upgraded it to a "very good" to help articulate how I felt about the overall stay. Sometimes when you travel you find unexpected positives and the ones at this place will always make me remember this stay. I hope you enjoy it like I did.
