Puerto Princesa’s claim to fame goes way beyond its swanky beach resorts and dolphin-watching cruises. The UNESCO-listed Underground River wows visitors with its low-hanging stalagmites and stalactites, and a cave that—due to its sheer size and rock formations resembling religious figures—is likened to a cathedral.

Canvas is 49-room boutique hotel located at the heart of Puerto Princesa (a two-minute drive away from the airport). This hotel has modern interiors highlighting the colorful and rich culture of Palawan through curated furniture pieces, which are locally made; hand-painted murals by talented Palawan artists; and art pieces representing the islands. This property is truly a perfect place for the modern traveler.
I echo the comments from other reviews. A very comfortable hotel close to everything. Large rooms with fridge, safe and AC, even larger bathroom. International style restaurants are within walking distance and others are only a 50 peso ride by tricycle. A laundry service is available opposite the hotel Tours can be booked at the front desk. The breakfast buffet was good if a little monotonous. The manager Mr Jesse quick dealt with a few small problems on arrival and was very helpful during our stay. Good value for money- recommended.

We stayed last week at Astoria Palawan. It was a family get away as we are celebrating a special occasion. The hotel is so beautiful, you don’t actually need to go outside because there’s a lot of activity you can do inside the hotel. They also have live entertainment during weekends. (we still went outside tho’ to see other attractions in Puerto Pricesa). No major flaws during our stay, you can tell some of the staffs are new to the job but they really tried their best to make our stay extra special. All of the staffs are friendly. I love the people of Puerto Princesa, they are really nice people. They offer welcome drinks and their special bibingka which taste so good. The breakfast and dinner buffet is excellent, the food taste good even their ala carte menu. Puerto Princesa is okay but Astoria Palawan is excellent. After you checked out you will really want to come back sooner. We really enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend Astoria Palawan. Even if it is far from the city it was worth the long travel. Thank you so much Astoria Palawan for making our family vacation special and unforgettable. Hope to visit you guys again.

Here, detached from the places of bustling activity, one can completely break away from all their stresses and take that well-deserved luxury. It is ideally located for both leisure and business travelers who want a taste of what Palawan has to offer. The 78 room resort centers on its Asian-themed architecture infused with a native touch, which blends in completely with the foliage surrounding the resort. Choose from our spacious suites, pool access rooms or the Water Villa located atop tranquil waters and indulge yourself. With an extensive array of amenities, wellness village, a grand pillar less ballroom and three dining outlets, Princesa Garden Island Resort and Spa is a destination of its own.
Fantastic staff and environment. The facilities that were in use were very good, but some were still missing. The road down to the beach / sandbank was closed due to the storm in December. Missed information booklet in the room. That said, great service and staff, but overpriced compared to similar facilities.

luxury, privacy and exclusivity...Floral Villarosa is located at Villarosa Road, Barangay Bancao-Bancao, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. It is a five minute drive from the airport and ten minutes to the city proper and in walking distance to Nasin aw beach. Floral Villarosa is our family creation. At first to be our family house here in Puerto Princesa, it became a great place to stay for people who seek for privacy, luxury and exclusivity. The ten (10) rooms good for two person were personally designed by us including the unique set up of the big comfort rooms with live stones and woodcrafts collected from the Palawan forest, which gives the place a natural environmental atmosphere. Added to this, a perfect sized swimming pool two steps away from the rooms with waterfall and a native hut for your relaxation and spa give you peace and total relaxation. At night, Floral Villarosa is lightened up warm and softly with candles while the waterfall is continually flowing. A clean and beautifully designed Dining is waiting for you. Surely, A fresh catch set menu prepared by our staff will make your stay unforgettable. The exotic garden has character.... Come, enjoy and experience!!! LET US KEEP PUERTO PRINCESA CITY GREEN AND CLEAN AND THE ISLAND OF PALAWAN "THE LAST FRONTIER!"
Nice quiet location, walkable from the main bars and restaurants. Only disappointment was the pool, due to the amount of garden foliage there is little sunshine getting through. We didn’t try the food so can’t comment. There is a scooter rental company across the road from the hotel, which were of excellent quality.

Awesome place! Very relaxing. Stress free environment. Out standing staff. Ready to help and accommodate your wishes. They booked a couple of tour for us, and had our breakfast made ready before we departed. Before they opened for breakfast. Very tasty fresh press coffee served in the morning. Relaxing lounge for that afternoon cocktail or beer. Tasty food and great pizza. Each room has a hammock to lounge away and read. In the middle of the city not far from center. But, you feel like a million miles away in lush gardens. Thank you Hibiscus Garden Inn. We will return.

Me & my family had a great stay @ Hue Hotel during late May & early June 2022. The room was spacious & modern & has great facilities. Our young Daughter loved the roof-top pool & spent many happy hours there. We would like to say a 'Special Thank You' to Darwin our Housekeeper who always did an amazing job keeping our room spotlessly clean, Darwin is such a pleasant & humble Guy & he really made our stay comfortable & memorable 10/10☆

Your Green Destination. Wake up to the soothing sound of waves crashing onto the shore and be surrounded by majestic landscapes. Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort is a 4-star resort situated in the World's Best Island - Palawan. Located in the celestial blue waters of Sabang Beach, Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort features luxurious beachfront cabanas that provide all contemporary comforts of a home with the breathtaking view of the West Philippine Sea. It is in a prime location, providing the opportunity to explore, and is the closes resort to a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature - The Puerto Princesa Underground River. Through offering exclusive resort experiences and outstanding quality service with true Filipino hospitality, Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort is the ideal green destination with its world-class facilities, sumptuous Asia-Global cuisine and powdery sand beach. Luxurious, intimate and tranquil, Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort inspires spectaculars journeys for the mind and soul.
Its 1 .5 hour road trip from Puerto Princesa airport. You can book land transfer with the hotel. The island was recently hit by a typhoon so ALL the other accomodations along the Sabang beachfront were wrecked or closed, including Sheridan which is undergoing extensive rennovation when we were there. Daluyon is still operating with minimal surface level damages from the typhoon which is a testament to the efficiency of the crew onsite. Wharton /Warton / Sabang (?) is a sleepy little town so expect 1 functioning ATM, no 7-11s, very little if any night life compared to the likes of Bohol or Boracay. A few grocery stores, some gift shops, and the government office that handles the trips to the Underground river, and your friendly neighborhood police station, and a small Catholic church pretty sums up the location. Its roughly 1 km walk from Daluyon to the town proper if you want to buy stuff so be ready for some walking. Back at the hotel, checkin was a breeze, staff are very, no, extremely courteous and helpful. Rooms were nice, bathroom was newly rennovated / painted / grouted so my impression is its clean and well maintained. There is hot and cold water in the showers in our room 702 imagine that. Beachfront is the main selling point of Daluyon. If you want a crowded beach go to Boracay or Bohol. If you want a secluded beach all your own, with fine brown sand and no rocks, with a very gentle slope stretching easily more than 20 meters before it reaches 6 feet, with gentle waves during high tide that you can ride using a bodyboard or a lone flatboard, this beach is for you. Lots of small white crabs. Some friendly local dogs. IF you like lazing under the sun without a care in the world, this is the beach for you. Hindi white sand pero maganda. Its also walking distance to the port if you want to do an underground river tour. ITs 2300 php per head on the hotel but me being kuripot, i walked over to the port and paid a total of 900 php + 1100 php = 2000.00 php for the six of us for the whole tour! Many helpful tour guides there are more than happy to guide you on the only 2 step process for getting a tour. Food is masarap. Hats of to the chef of course. We were hoping the selection could include more seafood items kahit grilled lang or simple province menus, i mean ginataang isda etc, catch of the day is there btw. Then again maybe its just me. I could not say enough about the kindness and hospitality of the ground staff. you see after the underground river tour, we took it upon ourselves to get some fruit juice from the port and ate a feast of a lunch buffet in one of the restos in the pier. 1AM in the morning i had the worst diarrhea in recent memory, i wont give you the gory details, suffice to say i was spent and needed medicine. We approached front desk and she was kind enough to offer to buy meds for us, so my wife the ever reliable @MinsJawili in facebook in case you need a dentist with the lightest hands in the world (hehehe) gave the list of meds and one of the ate staff volunteered to buy it for us. I am so sorry i never got to ask your names, but thank you so much for your genuine care during a time of need. So folks, bring ORS, sunscreen, mosquito repellant, pain relievers etc, as i mentioned earlier maliit na community lang talaga so in case there is an urgent need for medicine, baka mahirapan kayo maghanap so bring some along just to be sure. The pool is maganda, 6 feet at the deep end, we had it for ourselves most of the time. Sayang closed pa yung pool bar. Pool and beachfront is up to 6/630 pm only though. Pool you can extend naman just inform front desk. Remember this resoirt sits on a wildlife sanctuary so do not be like my teen daughters, they scrambled and screamed like girls when a small monitor lizard joined them in the pool. Such girls. =-) Checkout was a breeze, we rented a whole van back and forth, but we had one couple who asked if they can ride with us back to PPS, we obliged, and they said they'll just pay for some of the fare para di naman dyahe. Will i stay again in Daluyon if i ever wanted to go back to Sabang ? Yes.

Aziza Paradise Hotel in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan is a standard hotel with qualities and services comparable to a four-star hotel waiting to be experienced. The hotel, much like its name, offers you a paradise and comfort that you won’t find anywhere.
Stayed at room 240 from May 16 to May 18. It does look like the room was assigned to us randomly without quality checks from their chief steward even if we called in advanced. It has the smell of wood with mold, a dusty floor, a stained bedsheet and a broken door lock. We never really managed to ask for a room transfer since we are all tired from a 6 hour road trip from El Nido. Personnel are quite responsive with our queries though and they are courteous. Hot water is not available in the morning and evening, only in the afternoon. Aside from that, the hotel was under renovation, I would not recommend it to a family with a mischievous child who might run around recklessly for there are a lot of trip hazards lying around the place apart from the loud noise caused by the laborers doing some grinding and cutting at around 8 in the morning. Breakfast is basic, no brewed coffee just the powdered one, 3 main viands, some breads, pancakes with honey and eggs to cook spot on. For the price of more or less 12000 Php including tax, I would say it is quite expensive for what the hotel have provided us during our stay. In summary, we are not happy, it really does look good in the pictures which is probably taken from their glory days. I do hope the hotel management can bring back the hey days of their place.

Staff tends to slack off a lot, doesn’t know what they’re doing (don’t coordinate tasks for the next personnel in charge ) and instead of sincerely apologizing for their wrong doings they’ll blame you instead. 1.) We booked our 3D2N of stay in this tourist inn since it has high ratings/ good reviews in Agoda at a very reasonable price. At first we’re thinking of getting a Tour package going to the Underground River from a licensed travel and tour agency, however we’re being skeptical of getting one since it’s pandemic we might get someone who’s not registered in Department Of Tourism, so we’ve decided to coordinate the tour package to Rema Inn (since they might recommend a licensed travel agent). They emailed & called my sister prior to confirm the Underground River tour package, however on the day of the supposed tour the hotel personnel told us that they “overlooked the booking” because they’re new and the previous employee who contacted us did not endorse or log/ notate our reservation, so ending we’re not able to go to the Underground River. 2.) Staff tends to slack off a lot - they have a lot of time chatting and when you try to ask them nicely to get you something it’ll take time and you need to do several follow ups before they get you what you ask for. 3.) WiFi has either weak to no internet connectivity at all (they tend to turn off the WiFi connection especially when they know that there guests are on day tour. Globe network has really poor signal in the city that’s why we’re unable to use data as well). 4.) They emailed my sister to apologize after we checked out from their hotel, however instead of sincerely apologizing they blamed my sister for replying “noted on this” to their email that’s why they didn’t notate the Underground River tour, when in fact they called her 2 or 3 days prior to the agreed date and she firmly said YES to the tour. It’s not our problem that the staff’s comprehension was poor. Sorry but I’m not sorry for the harsh words that I used for the customer service and experience we got is really infuriating.

Holiday Suites is a newly opened hotel. It is a modern, chic and affordable accommodation. It is conveniently located at North national Highway,Tiniguiban, Puerto Princesa City. Holiday Suites has 34 rooms to offer and 5 room types. The floor area of all rooms ranges from 20-30.5 square meter. The Holiday Suites remain the perfect ideal for both individual and group travelers.
There was a major water interruption during our stay, but no effort on the front desk to accomodate our request for water (for hygiene purposes) since we need it badly, informed them about our flight details multiple times but the water arrived just as we are about to leave for the airport. We left for the airport just brushing our teeth. The night duty staff was commendable though, very accomodating even if we arrived late. Probably won’t book again. ? I dont recommend, very slow and poor on crisis management ?
