HO Ciudad de Jaén es un hotel de 4 estrellas muy bien situado a la entrada de Jaén, junto a la autovía Bailén-Motril, posee unas excelentes vistas panorámicas de la ciudad y de las montañas de Sierra Mágina. Ofrece habitaciones de lujo, todas cuentan con aire acondicionado y terraza privada. También disponen de WiFi gratuito, caja fuerte, minibar, TV de pantalla plana y baño privado. Asimismo, el hotel alberga 5 pistas de pádel, campo de fútbol, dos pistas de tenis y un gimnasio totalmente equipado. Lovely beds
Reviewed By BartHermansBooked this hotel as a base to visit Baeza/Ubeda/Jaen and it was perfect for what we wanted. Clean, modern hotel close to the motorways (which you don't hear) to the 3 cities mentioned before. But also only a bit more than an hour to Granada and Cordoba. Massive free parking lot available. Probably because this hotel seems very popular to host wedding parties. And unlike the motorway. These can be heard from your room even with the sliding door closed. As it was April and the weather not that great it didn't bother me though. 2 big positives were the mattresses and pillows. Where normally in Spain I utterly hate the pillows. These were marvelous. The memoryfoam provides good support while one of the others provides height. Combined with lovely mattresses gave me the best sleep in ages. Better than my own bed. The breakfast is a good buffet style, in (again) a modern designed room. However the accoustics are not that great. So if I had to come up with a downside it would be the echo chamber that is the breakfast room. If I'd ever return to visit Jaen I would without a doubt come back here

Reviewed By Eric963852In touring Andalusia I have been to big cities and small towns, travel to Parador de Cazorla takes you back to nature high in the Sierra de Cazorla mountains. Away from city lights you can see stars at night. My lunch at the restaurant was exceptional. I has a a salad with duck ham; and Rabbit - the Parador de Cazorla menu specializes in local game based dishes. I have never had a meal as well prepared and unique as my lunch at Parador de Cazorla and anticipate many years before another restaurant can top this meal!

Reviewed By Robert HUbeda is not as touristy as other towns so it seems a little deserted at night. You may want to use the one elevator as the steps are huge if you deicide to take the stairs. This parador is owned by the same company as Ronda and Carmona- I believe. The breakfast buffet is pretty much standard- good selection of pastries, fruits, and meats,

A good base to explore Jaen
Reviewed By Mary SThis hotel is a fair ways out of town but does offer (tight!) underground parking and a reasonable amount of space. We were quickly able to get a taxi for trips into town for restaurants in the evenings. Our room was good with a separate sitting area and comfortable beds, but the bathroom had a jacuzzi bath squeezed in which was rather awkward to use. The public areas are quite spacious and look good. Breakfast, included in our rate, was very basic - we appreciate that buffets aren’t possible at the moment but just a piece of toast, glass of juice and a coffee was of limited appeal. Nonetheless, this hotel suited our needs and provided a good base to explore Jaen.

Reviewed By kthernehillLovely Baeza - we stayed here two years ago, but had terrible rain, so we decided to return! Baeza was an important centre of merino wool production in the 14th and 15th centuries and so many buildings have survived to retain the feel of a tiny Renaissance city - no wonder it is a World Heritage site. Whole streets take you back in time, and a large number of important buildings like the Cathedral and the University give the impression that that time has stood still. We chose the same hotel as we had stayed in before - the 16th century Palacio de los Salcedo, which has a wonderful great hall with three levels of arches, where breakfast is served, and an original carved and painted ceiling at reception. And the icing on the cake was going back to our favourite wine and tapas bar in the world, with Michelin recommended tapas! Our room had a little balcony over the street, which we loved, and it was very comfortable - a bit over the top on decor, but the building is so impressive I can forgive that. You have to park on the street - this hotel is on a pedestrianised street - but we found a place quite easily. The hotel is good value - I recommend it and I would stay there again.

Reviewed By denners111Weve used this hotel on four occasions over the last ew years and it has always provided a good overnight experience. Recently refurbished, it is now a litte more up to date. Very onvenient when travelling to southern Spain.

Huge bathroom and power shower. The restaurant served first class food for both lunch and evening meals. There is a spa and The massage I had there was excellent. We loved our stay and will return.

Great food offering for lunch and dinner although breakfast was a little disappointing. Had a suite this time which was large and comfortable. Well furnished. Huge terrace. Great views. Bathroom with jacuzzi bath but shower over bath a little disappointing.

The villas are laid out over three streets with two squares and two viewing points, which give the site the appearance of a small village. It has a main building, which houses the common areas and services, and there is also a garden and swimming pool. Its location makes it the ideal place to practice all kinds of adventure sports. There are also well signposted hiking routes that can be done on foot, on horseback or by bike.

Reviewed By saxon12Stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Let us choose which one. We've been before so we picked the one with the best view. Lovely room. Beautiful looking hotel. Plantation style. Great staff on reception, lovely bar, the outdoor terrace great. Everything looked class. All staff nice and attentive. Room impeccably clean. Just a note to people who aren't fit.... It's hilly and it's 1km to nearest bar.. Didn't bother us in the slightest. Can't wait to go back.
