No hot water on first night. No formal apology of offer of compensation. Shabby, dingy rooms. Sloppy service for breakfast. Queues for (broken) coffee machine. Menu canceled on a Saturday night with no warning. Hairs in food. TV didnt work properly. Fire alarms going off at 7AM. Stone faced service from some of the staff. Need I say more?

Come and stay on the edge of the world's second largest natural harbour. Premier Inn Hotel Poole Centre (Holes Bay) puts you in the ideal location for getting out on the water, or just getting out and exploring the South West coast. See if you can spot the red squirrels over on Brownsea Island. Or enjoy the three-mile stretch of golden sands and unspoilt beaches. Marvel at the greenery of Compton Acres, which some say are the finest gardens of Europe. Then enjoy a taste of the deep blue sea with some lovely fresh fish at a Poole harbour restaurant. When you're done, come back to the hotel to our tasty Table Table restaurant next door and our new, modern rooms with extra- comfy kingsize Hypnos beds.
The receptionist was amazing I believe her name was Sue. Kids noisy running up and down the corridors. Hot in the bedrooms had to use the fan. In the restaurant the staff were miserable apart from Debbie and Kevin they were amazing happy and friendly. Make sure you book the restaurant and breakfast the day before otherwise you may not get in as it is really busy

Formerly the Mansion House Hotel, situated close to Poole Quay, Hotel du Vin will open in the Summer of 2008 offering 38 bedrooms and suites, trademark bistro, bar and two meeting/dining rooms.
Have stayed here many times and this time was put in one of the rooms through restaurant in courtyard . No windows to leave open overnight ! Breakfast was shaky! The omelette was rubber and had a load of pepper in … not as good as normal. Regardless room was clean, service good.

Would you choose the magic of a working quay, or the hustle and bustle of a large seaside town? Choose both, and stay at the Premier Inn Hotel Poole North. Poole Quay and Bournemouth are both nearby, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds, and all the beauty of the Dorset coastline. Start the morning with a splash and go for a dip or a surf lesson. Or splash out on something special in the boutiques of Bournemouth. See the red squirrels on Brownsea Island, or the Red Arrows if you're here for Bournemouth Air Festival. Speaking of festivals, the Great Dorset Steam Fair is a must for all heritage fans too. Back at the hotel you'll find mouth-watering food at our restaurant, and a lovely comfy bed.
We stayed for a family overnight trip to the south coast. We were late booking so had to take our chances, but we have used Preimier Inns before and you know what you are going to get. Sadly this was more Travel Lodge than Premier Inn. Everything felt a bit down at heel. Not convinced it was clean. Feels like it needs a face lift to get it up to what you might expect.

We stayed 4 nights this week, 2 in a balcony room and 2 in a standard as unfortunately the balcony was not free for the whole trip. Would recommend the balcony rooms, lovely views, dyson fan and Nespresso machine are nice touches. Fantastic location, to walk along beach to Bournemouth (about 6 miles) or take chain ferry over to Studland and Swanage. Good view of the Jurassic coast from Swanage. Breakfast - mixed, some days cooked really well, 2/6 seemed like a different chef as food undercooked, sausage was red inside, bacon fat still white. Didn’t eat lunch, but did eat from bar menu, was ok but nothing special other than the muscles which were delicious. Dinner was again mixed - steak was lovely, well cooked and tasty, service was not good, slow, mistakes made, seem to be short staffed.

we made a revisit on a sunday night but it wasn't as good as the previous visit. The salmon had run out and the pie chosen was a letdown. Hunters chicken wasn't amazing either. We probably wouldn't return

Expensive room for a very tired, and hot hotel. Confusing parking arrangement shared with Asda and not well sign posted Bins overflowing outside the door, felt claustrophobic and lots of noise from main road, no AC so window had to be open. Wouldn't have minded if it had been £50 or under, but paid over £100 for one night here!

Returned to Sandbanks for a weekend away, after coming every year back when I was a toddler (now 18) - and it’s as lovely as we remember, with friendly staff, great drinks and nice food, and we got a free upgrade on our room which gave us a lovely space. We even managed to make the most of the slightly grey and very windy weather… Kellie, in particular, was incredible at looking after me and my food allergy, making sure I could eat well while we were here, and super friendly and helpful as well. Only negative - its such a shame the Funsters have left. Although this may not have affected me directly it’s still a shame, as Jimbob, Danni and the team left me with incredible memories of Sandbanks, and also lacking evening entertainment for the adults. Otherwise a really great stay and I’m sure we’ll be back soon - hopefully for sunnier weather!
