We had a 4 hour drive to get to Picton. We arrive a bit early and to our surprise out room was ready, which was fantastic. We walked into the small town and we was very nice with some quaint little shops. Dinner was so delicious. I had rack of lamb and it was done perfectly. Dessert was yummy as well. Breakfast was delicious! I ordered the Lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberries. The best I have had in a long time. The food was was 5 star for sure. Friendly staff and our waitress was very helpful.

The Picton Harbour Inn offers twenty-nine comfortable guestrooms, and three fully renovated suites. The walls are hung with vignettes of the past in the form of archival photographs of Picton Harbour in bygone days. All rooms have cable TV, air conditioning, and telephones. Some have balconies overlooking one of the most charming small town harbour's in Ontario. There is also limited dockage with hydro and showers available.
Just leaving after a one night stopover. Very clean, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, super convenient with contactless check in. Our room overlooked the little harbour - with a tiny balcony! - a little loud last night with people hanging out outside on the cute boardwalk but who can blame them, first long weekend of the summer after a long winter! Can’t say enough about breakfast at the adjoining Lighthouse restaurant. Excellent service too. Would definitely return. Have stayed in other more expensive places in Picton and this is the best value we have found.

Built in 1870, Jackson's Falls Schoolhouse combines the personalized service of a B&B with the privacy and spaciousness of a gracious country inn. Each room is individually furnished with period antiques, reading chairs and lamps and each room features private ensuite facilities. Some rooms include outdoor/private porch seating areas, a Jacuzzi and gas stove-style fireplace. Fridge is available for guest use. Full service restaurant and bar on premise. Stay and dine packages available for every season. Family and group facilities include a stand alone coach house with two connecting units, kitchenette and private decks with pastoral country views. The two bedroom Iroquois Suite sleeps six, and features a loft master suite, two bathrooms, spacious living room, screen porch and private back yard for your use. Our native First Nations heritage inspires our farm to table cuisine. Local wines, beer and known for our friendly, personalized service.
Yes there are some things missing from the rooms and a lack of amenities one might expect from a Country Inn, but credit has to go to Natalie and Drew for accomplishing as much as they have during the pandemic. There have been supply chain and staffing issues to deal with that have been challenging for sure. We were quite comfortable in our ground floor room and appreciated the easy access to the parking lot and our private access to the wrap around porch. Having said that, we too found the upstairs neighbours who were early risers, to be a bit bothersome so would definitely consider a second floor room if we returned. The continental breakfast was substantial enough, and delivered promptly in the morning. Gluten free options were available. It would be nice to have an alternating menu choice for those staying more than one night. Any requests we had were handled promptly and we found communication with our hosts to be excellent. It will be lovely when they can get some exterior improvements done, and the dining room up and running. Having to drive in to Picton or Waupoos each night put a bit of a damper on our evening (being in wine country and all!).

We are new owners of the old Sportsman Motel in Picton. We've completely renovated and re-branded the property to be a hip, boutique motel in Prince Edward County. Rooms are bright and lively with hand-made bohemian touches. All rooms come with a full or mini wine bar.
The June Motel is a super cute boutique motel in Prince Edward County. We stayed in the Rose Suite. We were 2 couples. Lots of space for both couples. The room was fairly large, however the bathroom was a little small. (Not a big deal at all) There is a small little garden in the main lobby area which was nice to be at in the evenings with a glass of wine around the fire. Be prepared for bachelorette parties! You are about a 10-15 mins drive to most wineries.

Cribs on the Hill is situated on a quiet residential street, in the picturesque town of Picton. Picton, Prince Edward County's largest town, is home to a beautiful main street, packed with quaint shops, fantastic restaurants and bars, parks, the historic Regent theatre and a vibrant nightlife! Everything you need is a short walk away.
We stayed here for 4 nights with two other couples a 3 bedroom condo and were really impressed. From the seamless self check-in, and the lush green space outside our patio, to the excellent and attentive service we couldn't have asked for a better mini vacay! We were able to visit sandbanks beach 2 days with a vehicle permit reserved in advance. The beach was full every day, so we were thankful to have this taken care of for us. The space is sparkling clean and new with modern construction. Onsite housekeeping staff were responsive, and helpful. We waked to Picton each night to check different restaurants, and then sat outside on the patio checking out the stars. So many stars! Overall we had a wonderful trip and would recommend Cribs On The Hill. Thanks to the property manager for sending her list of local favourite places, and for connecting us with My County Tours for our winery tour!

Situated on "mansion row", one block from Picton Harbour, The CAPE is a landmark geographically, historically and architecturally. Meticulously restored and renovated, The CAPE's reception salons, accommodation suites, veranda, ballroom and extensive garden create the perfect canvas for your dream wedding, corporate event, private function, or vacation getaway.
Staying at The Cape was a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked through the front door we were transported to a world of beauty and elegance that we have never before experienced in PEC. Modern luxurious comfort exists within an envelope of formal historical architecture, with incredibly high ceilings, original huge windows and intricate woodwork. We stayed in the Elizabeth Taylor suite, aptly named for its beauty and glamour. It included a dressing area and a gorgeous marble-clad bathroom. My back was very grateful for the extremely comfortable bed and the collection of pillows with various levels of firmness. We were warmly welcomed by Kaylee who also served us breakfast at a romantic table for two located in a charming and private window alcove just outside our suite. The delicious breakfast included fresh fruit, still warm from the oven croissants, smoked salmon, waffles and much more. The location is a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Main St. which allowed both of us the freedom to appreciate the wonderful PEC wines with dinner. I would highly recommend The Cape to anyone who craves a bit of glamour in their lives - even if just for the weekend!

All Cottages come with fully equipped kitchens including fridge, stove, microwave and basic kitchen utensils. Traveling with friends in their new RV we were involved in a terrible accident that left the RV undrivable and our group without a place to stay. As it was the last weekend in August most places were fully booked or were not willing to give us even a portion of the weekend between bookings. Until we called Jennifer at Merland Park. After explaining our situation Jennifer said she had single night openings between guests and happily welcomed us to her family's resort. During our three-night stay, we stayed in a beautiful three-bedroom cottage, a pool suite room, and the motel area of their resort. All rooms were clean, had all the amenities, and were located in well-groomed grounds at the lakeside resort. During our stay, we met many people, families that told us they'd been coming to Merland Park for many years! Certainly, we will be back and highly recommend Merland Park Resort if you are traveling to the Picton area! A big thank you to Jennifer and Kevin Lavers and their family, wonderful, friendly, and kind people that take pride in their resort and it shows!

We had a wonderful experience spending a weekend at Pebbles Resort in Long Point Prince Edward County. The owner was vey accommodating and gave insightful tips on activities to do. The cottage was quaint but had a modern cozy touch to it. It had a fully equipped kitchen with every major appliance as well as a coffee maker, tea kettle, pots and pans, plates and cutlery. It definitely was worth upgrading to the sports water package plan. There are life jackets, floats and paddles readily available. We spent a day paddle boating, canoeing, and relaxed on the hammock. We took a walk to the bird conservatory, lighthouse and drove to the Bluff area. We definitely plan to make another trip to Longpoint again next summer and stay even longer!
