It is 104 studios and apartments are separated into little blocks doted around the central reception building. These apartments are all named after Greek islands. The resort also includes luscious gardens. Two expansive pools with swim-up bars, separate children swimming pools, billiards and game room and children’s playground. Appeals to those looking for a quiet retreat in a peaceful, friendly resort. Particular for couple and families with children.

Reviewed By H945TVpaulcWe have stayed in Pefkos several times but Pefki Island is by far the best accommodation we have stayed at, Rooms are large, clean and well kept Staff are very friendly , The breakfast is excellent a wide choice, there are several swimming pools to suit everyone, we will defiantly return .

Situated on the outskirts of the resort and just 20 meters from a fantastic sandy bay, the Pefkos village Resort is the ideal place for a relaxing and unique holiday. The hotel is recently renovated and built in a traditional Greek style. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The complex is within a walking distance from the center of the resort and only 5 km from Lindos. most importantly the staff here will be more than happy to make sure you have a great holiday.

Reviewed By 43stevewWe stayed here from 25/05/22 to 01/06/22. We can’t rate it highly enough. We travelled with our two and five year old sons. The staff are fantastic, rooms spacious and clean. The food is awesome. We wish we’d rented a car for the week but taxis were €7 into Pefkos. We’ll be back in September. Yamas!

A holiday totally enjoyed
Reviewed By gerardfenlonJust returned from a very enjoyable visit at this Hotel which is situated just a few hundred yards from the centre of the village of Pefkos. The Hotel is part of a resort involving three sites, all with their own pools although guests staying anywhere on the resort are welcome to visit any of the pools. The island Blue, as well as having a large pool which is split into two parts has an additional pool close to their restaurant which doesn’t have a children’s section and which is ideal if you are looking for peacefulness and tranquility whilst sitting in the sunshine or whilst having a leisurely swim. Pefkos has many restaurants and bars all close to one another offering many alternative food options but if you wanted to stay around the resort then there are food options available, for example, if you have breakfast in their restaurant then the quality of that breakfast, which is served buffet style, is outstanding with so much choice available. The rooms are large, clean, have balconies or terrace’s with, unlike in many places now, a daily room service. There were still some rules associated with Covid which were perfectly understandable. The staff we had dealings with, whether in reception, behind the bars, waiters and waitresses, cleaners etc were all keen to ensure that a comfortable, happy and enjoyable time was had and that was very much to their credit. The Hotel is situated only a five minute walk to the beach if you don’t mind navigating a number of steps or alternatively it is about a leisurely 15 minute walk to the beach on the roadways if preferred. There are many sun beds and parasols available on the sandy beach ranging from 12 euros for two beds on the basic package to 38 euros for all sorts of additional add ons! There was a glass bottom boat trip (19 euro’s) available lasting about an hour which took you to Lindos which was very enjoyable and if feeling fit, the climb up to the top of the Acropolis (12 euros per person) is worth it. A taxi ride back from Lindos was about 9 or 10 euros depending on the speed of the taxi driver! There was entertainment available on a number of nights, during my stay, there were Drifters and ABBA tribute bands, a Sixties night and a Greek night with all sorts of Greek delicacies on the menu. All in all, this Hotel is to be highly recommended and I would not hesitate in revisiting. Gerard Fenlon

Best Birthday Celebrations Ever

The trip this time was for my 60th Birthday celebrations and as usual the hotel didn't disappoint. The staff really are one big happy family and they made my birthday and the rest of the holiday an absolute joy. I was given a special cake from Maria, who really is a Star of this hotel and she is surrounded by a Dream Team of fabulous people who I am happy to call friends. From Stavros, Lukas and Marios in the bar area, Stamatia in the Supermarket, the lovely ladies at breakfast, the Reception staff, housekeeping team, grounds staff all these lovely people seem genuinely pleased to welcome us back, they go out of their way to make your holiday special and this time it was simply magical. I could go on and on about this Superb hotel but you only have to read my previous dozen or so reviews to know how much this place means to me and my husband and now also our friends who love this place as well. This is our happy place and Pefkos is our second home. Thank you so much for making my birthday perfect - you are all the loveliest people. See you in September xx

Brilliant stay, faultless
Reviewed By wezatkinsonArrived late and the staff had put us dinner up for arrival which was great, we settled in quickly, the rooms are spacious, modern deco and cleaned everyday with towels changed. Free air con and WiFi hub in every room (sad but I took my firestick) food at the buffet was different every day and all cooked lovely, loads of choice. The pool area was clean and sunbeds were recently upgraded. The roof terrace bar has lovley views on an evening and entertainment a few times per week. The hotel is chilled and very very comfortable. It is a 10 min walk into the centre but it never bothered us in the slightest. What makes this hotel even better are the staff, from day 1 they make you feel welcome and want you to enjoy your stay, from the 2 girls on reception to the restaurant staff, but the real driving force is Lucas and Armando (manager & Bar man) they work tirelessly to make this hotel great and nothing at all is a bother to them. Thanks lucas for making our stay great, you work tirelessly to make this hotel a success and it's working, your an asset. Love the 16 geordies, wee aye man

Another Great Stay
Reviewed By kellyrH3916HOJust arrived home from yet another great stay at Matina. As always friendly and helpful staff, great food and drinks served by Stergos and Valentina.. We arrived afternmidnight on the late flight with jet2, we were greeted by the very welcoming Bob.. We stayed in block 9 as we have all of our stays, rooms were extremely clean, they were cleaned almost daily and a bonus that the air conditioning is now included. Beds are very comfy now, the only down side to the room was the shower curtain clinging to you when in the shower as the showers are really powerful it would be a benefit to have shower screens rather than the curtain. Great improvement on the main pool, new flooring and sunbeds make a great difference. Plenty of beds around the pool, we never struggled for space. Staff in ABC were helpful and extremely friendly, great little supermarket to take snacks and drinks around the pool and back to your rooms. Fabulous location for the beach, short walk to the beautiful restaurants. If visiting an early morning walk to the cross for sunrise is a must, it’s absolutely stunning and the views are spectacular. Looking forward to another visit next year. Thankyou to all the staff at Matina for another wonderful stay.

Birthday Break - not what we expected
Reviewed By G5553VYannrBooked this hotel after reading the reviews for my Husband's 77th Birthday . The package with Jet 2 was all inclusive with a triple room and partial sea views. I booked a room with double bed thought that would do as we did not need a extra bed and there was no difference in the price (my mistake.) These rooms are so basic , we were unable to walk around the bed as we had to take turns to manoeuvre. We arrived at 2.30am and we therefore went to the reception the next morning to ask to change rooms. The receptionist advised us that there were no rooms available and we therefore told her that we would contact our Jet2 representative to change hotels. After returning from breakfast she called us over and told us that she could show us a room. This was a disabled double room. The was a little larger but still very basic. If we had been given this on the first night was still would have wanted to be moved but as this was the only option available we decided to make the best of it as we did not want to spend our whole holiday moving rooms each day. Positives: Reception area beautiful, Pool area and pool bar area very good. All bar staff, restaurant staff and cleaning staff work hard and very friendly. Receptionist did her best to accommodate us and was helpful & friendly. Lovely soft seating areas inside and outside sitting areas. Very good. Beds were very comfortable. Food was very tasty and good variety. Salads were delicious. Negatives: Talking to other guests it appeared that you were allocated your rooms on arrival on a first come first served basis. Some had booked double rooms and received triple rooms at no extra costs! Unfortunately when we did move rooms there was faeces in the toilet which proved that the toilet had not been cleaned properly. We had to to ask for this to be done. All in all we had a good holiday. We enjoyed the place but sadly due to the rooms offered we will not be back. We have been in better 4* accommodation.

It’s perfect for our needs as we hire a scooter for the duration, fantastic views over the bay from our sea view room, clean and tidy. The Ziakis are a friendly family, new staff this year at the bar, Stavros and his lovely chef mum Anna who kindly gave me a lesson in making the perfect Greek coffee! Thanks Anna! A big shout out to them for the cold Aplha, tequila shots and great bar food. Stavros you Rock!! Will definitely be back when we next visit beautiful Rhodes island. One love ? Anne Mare & John
