Halfway between the peaks of the Sierra Nevada and the Costa Tropical, in one of the most charming places in the Alpujarra of Granada you will find Taray Botánico, a hotel in Órgiva surrounded by the highest mountains in the Iberian Peninsula, is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for peace and tranquility. We have large gardens with a nice outdoor swimming pool. A perfect place to unwind in a hotel in Órgiva surrounded by nature and discover the charm of the Alpujarra Granadina in a unique atmosphere.
Stayed here for one night only but it was a nice place to stay. Clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was included in our fee and it was very good. We were on our way to Granada so this was a good stopping place. A good place to stay in a smaller town of the region.

Highly recommend staying here for value of money, cleanliness and location. The staff here are really really nice and so accommodating. The restaurant serves exceptional food catering traditional and genuine vegetarian food which can be a challenge in rural Spain. Even if not staying here it is a must place to eat with great local authentic atmosphere infused with non native locals and tourists. Our waitress provided excellent hospitality and had the pleasure of dining there twice and being treated so well. All the staff were so nice and friendly. The hotel itself were so accommodating, the fact that we arrived so early on our second visit @11:20 am they let us check in. This made such a difference as we had just accented the mountains and in need of shower and rest. We were delighted with our stay and I would return again if only for the delicious cod dish!!! Thanks for a great stay!!!

The Mirasol Hotel is a family run hotel situated just 50 meters from the center of Órgiva. From here there are stunning views of the surroundings of The Alpujarra and its breathtaking mountains. The Mirasol Hotel has 15 functional rooms, simply furnished, arranged over 5 floors. The rooms are very spacious, have bathrooms with bath, air conditioning, heating, flat screen TV and free WiFi. The hotel is perfectly situated for visiting La Alpujarra and do many activities such as horseback riding, hiking, biking (BTT) and quads. At the reception you have available all kinds of information about activities. Órgiva is well connected by dirt road with the coast of Motril and the capital, Granada. By public bus the journey takes about 30 minutes to Motril and 45 minutes to Granada.
Spent a week in the Mirasol. Clean and comfortable with lovely views. The owner and her mother were very kind and pleasant, and if you make the effort to speak spanish they appreciate it. Even if only a few words. Nice people and a good place to stay to explore Orgiva.

Traditional Spanish town house in The Alpujarras (Granada) surrounded by blue skies and vistas with the advantages of being close to restaurants, shops, markets and facilities. Style and function. Town and country. The posada is a high quality guesthouse that offers the best of all worlds. This accommodation located in the centre of Orgiva gives you a perfect base for your Andalusian holidays. There are bike, trekking and hiking routes. The coast is 35 mins away and the city of Granada 50 mins away by car. Rates for rental of the whole house (for up to 10 p.p.) also available.
I stayed 2 nights after seeing all the hotels in town (except casa jazman). It’s run by a young English lady who is very responsive and helpful. Stayed in the largest room (called “Eagle” something), which is huge (separate 1 bedroom) with very modern facilities and lotsa light, as have wide balconies and the building is on a corner. High quality and tasteful furnishings and linen/towels. The communal kitchen and lounge are large and cater to all needs. WiFi works well. Big Rooftop terrace with jacuzzi. If you email the hotel or call Lucy she will respond very quickly. Cannot recommend enough, particular as the other option in town are 2-3 levels down in quality.

Very friendly staff, save parking space downstairs for your bikes (for cycling or motors). Our apartment was very new and clean. Air-conditioning worked perfectly. There were towels upon arrival and the staff knows a lot about the region, yoga opportunities and can recommend the best restaurants in town.

Very peculiar place to stay, located at the center of the village with amazing views from the top roof. Ghidei was very kind to us and offering all kind of help to make our stay very comfortable and keeping our bicycles safe. We finally extended our stay in Orgiva just to visit all the surroundings. At Ananda's Mundo we felt at home!

Come and see our village house in the legendary high district of Órgiva, in the heart of the Alpujarras. From the TV lounge, come straight into the best kept secret of our traditional old house : its garden full of fruit trees and our swimming pool.Located between the mountains and the sea, the Casa Jazmín is the perfect choice.
We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting friends who live in town. The host was very nice and the place was quiet and had lovely gardens with fruit trees. It is an older home but is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good too!

The staff are disgusting. The owners daughter decided to harass me. The cleaning woman was rude and offensive in her behaviour. They both decided to throw fleas on my tent repeatedly causing me hundreds of euros in damages. They also had my last review removed. Nasty people.
