Visiting from Australia, we found this delightful B&B on Tripadvisor and agree with all previous comments. The hospitality and service was the best. Rimedia could not do enough for us. The room was spacious and the house immaculate. We were served a lovely continental breakfast. Thank you to Rimedia and her husband for a lovely night's stay.

wenty-five kilometres from the nearest beach, Su Gologone lies in the heart of Barbagia – a part of the island rich in traditions and history. Ancient olive trees and vineyards cling to the slopes of the mountainous Supramonte area, where the air is fragrant with myrtle and rosemary. Only 25km from the nearest beach, the hotel is surrounded by Mediterranean flora – geraniums, hydrangeas, bougainvillea and prickly pears – and steeped in the art and culture of a part of the world that is both rugged and refined. Every detail of the hotel reflects the character its location. The furnishings and materials – juniper wood, terracotta and inlaid plaster – are deeply authentic. Stay with us and enjoy warm hospitality, untainted nature, enduring customs and mouth-watering cuisine.
Restaurant was ok Hotel was a construction site , pool was closed, a lot of the experience places : closed. On complaining , we paid over 400 euro for a night, we got a rude answer… If your hotel is not ready you should warn people upfront or give discounts. Staff was partially ok, partially just rude and not polite. Rooms were rather noisy. Bathroom amenities were poor. Tv small. No free water in the room… drink from the tap they told us… The hotel has a charming feel, and that s about it. Check your bill, because they overcharge and than start a dispute. Reading a book was impossible as construction trucks and workers were making noise the whole day. If you ask these kind of prices, you should offer much more to your visitors… it is just not worth it. Maybe when all construction works are done, in 2023… you can book this… but my advice for now… STAY AWAY… If you can spend this amount of money… then there are much better choices. I give 2 because the restaurant was ok

Guthiddai is an ancient name of unknown origin. It refers to the wide valley that extends eastward from Oliena. Here you discover, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, the Agriturismo Guthidday, an idyllic estate, which has developed harmoniously with the surrounding landscape of pastures, vines and olive trees since the early fifties. The center of the delightful country estate is a picturesque courtyard combining rustic elegance with beautiful flower arrangements, typical of the traditional Oliena culture. Nothing disturbs the perfect harmony of the architectural design. Guthiddai agriturismo provides a wonderful dining experience with 2 dining rooms as well as 10 cosy and comfortable rooms, each equipped with private bathroom and balcony. Every room is surrounded by vegetable and flower beds, orchards, vineyards and olive groves. The family takes meticulous care to ensure the highest bio-quality of all their products thus creating the very special country style atmosphere of the agriturismo. With sincere traditional hospitality, the Floris family assure their guests really feel at home, whether it be for a short or long stay or simply an authentic sardinian lunch or dinner.
We spent four fabulous nights at this beautiful oasis in the heart of the Sardinian National Park area. This warm and gracious family offers a magical, authentic Sardinian experience with clean, quiet rooms surrounded by stunning scenery and farm to table food and wine and olive oil -- all from their property -- that we will never forget.

The hotel-restaurant, in the Gennargentu Natural Park area, the hotel compound fits harmoniously in the surrounding centennial oak forest on the lower slopes of Monte Corrasi. This is an ideal place to relax, enjoy nature, explore the area and get to know the local people. The Enis has long term experience organising activities relating to eco-tourism. A friendly restaurant and pizzeria where, weather permitting, you can enjoy your meals in the veranda overlooking stunning panoramic views.
We stayed here for 4 nights in June and loved it. Please see our review under B&B and Inns (Enis Monte Maccione). Whether called an Inn or a Hotel, for anyone looking for a simple but charming, traditional place to stay, full of character, with warm, friendly service this is the place. Spectacular views and excellent hiking too!

The bed and breakfast was great! My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The space had a beautiful door onto a terrace that had a lovely view. The breakfast was a delicious and large croissant from a local bakery (if you wanted more than one you could have that including cake!), fruit, water and coffee, sometimes a special juice. The breakfast was open from 7 until 10 which was very nice so our schedule was never driven by trying to get our breakfast. The price was very reasonable. There is an entire parking lot behind the B&B for guests which meant we did not have to worry about parking on the street. There was wifi that worked in your room and the rest of the premises which was great. The room cleaning was once every three days and the owner's wife made sure to ask us convenient times for each cleaning day which was also very much appreciated. We ate frequently in the wine bar for lunch and dinners over our 9 day stay. The service was friendly and the food very good. We were traveling with a group and one of our members was vegan and one had a number of food allergies and they took care to make sure that each were taken good care of getting special food items and preparing special dishes. One day they helped arrange a boat trip to different beaches, and they prepared a picnic lunch for us early in the morning to take with us--including some frozen water bottles so that they would still be cold later in the day! The stay itself and the food were very good and if you're in Oliena you should definitely stay here. What I can't say enough about was how helpful the host and his wife were. We were traveling to do research in the area and the host helped us immensely by making connections for us with people in the town and people who could help us to make additional connections. One night when we returned late after working the host met us and shared a special drink with us which he would not charge us for. He shared special stories of his town with us and cared about not just our stay but whether our work went well. We could not have asked for more. The hospitality we experienced was unmatched!

The warm welcome of my inn who brought a heavy suitcase with a smile and a nice smile for me was the beginning of a wonderful stay. Most memorable is the happy time for breakfast.
