Me and my beautiful wife had our wedding at smokies Hotel 3/6/22. The day ran so smoothly and without fault. We could not be more grateful to Sophie Rothwell the wedding planner as she planned and put into practice everything we wanted and more. The staff were absolutely brilliant from the waiting on staff and all the bar staff cleaners and all the reception staff. Absolutely amazing experience and would highly recommend. Breakfast was amazing and our room was very clean and had a great jet bath in it. Only let me give 5 stars would of like to give more. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all involved in creating our beautiful and magical day xx

Welcome to one of the UK's most famous mill towns, and the perfect base to go milling about in Manchester. Premier Inn Oldham Broadway puts you within easy reach of the M60, not to mention train and tram links to Manchester City Centre. Watch the track and field events at Sports City. Or, during the festive months, hotfoot it over to the Christmas markets in Manchester City Centre. Speaking of Manchester City, catch a match at the Etihad Stadium. Whether you grab a bite to eat at the restaurants of Failsworth Pole, or dine with us at our Beefeater restaurant next door, our extra-comfy Hypnos beds and new, moderrn rooms will be the perfect end to a hectic day.
Very comfortable stay. Beds were spacious and the room has blackout curtains so we had a great sleep. Easy access from the motorway. We had a room at rear of hotel and it was so quiet you wouldn't know you were in a big city. Perfect base for exploring Manchester.

We have just returned from a weekend staying here. The room was nice and clean, space adequate, and the bed comfortable. We booked a table for food on our first night. The evening meal was very disappointing and the service was terrible. Likewise the breakfast was awful. A very poor quality offering indeed and a district lack of staff on duty to ensure that items such as the orange juice and milk etc. were being topped up. During our evening meal as the night went on the bar area became quite rowdy. The bar staff appeared to be joining in also becoming rowdy with certain customer, which I assume were locals. There was a distinct lack of any seniority or management around. I would like to think the management reading this review will take action to improve the level of customer service as well as look at the quality of their food on offer. If you require somewhere to simply sleep over night and don't care much for food or refreshments this hotel will serve the purpose.

The White Hart Inn is an amazing hotel/restaurant in every way. The people, Charlotte, Claire, Michelle, Josie, Andrew and more are some of the nicest people I have ever met in my travels. I'm sure there are more that touched my stay that I don't know the names of. The food is Amazing. After two weeks, I tried just about everything on the menu and nothing was even a little disappointing. It was all fantastic and I looked forward to every meal. If I could give The White Hart a 10 star rating I would. I can't thank everyone there enough for making my longer than expected stay a wonderful experience. Stay or eat here! You will not be disappointed!

Saddleworth hotel is definitely one of a kind ❤️. We booked our wedding back in April 2020 during a zoom call with the amazing Daniella. A zoom call was all we needed. The hotel is stunning! Every room is filled with the finest detail and thought. We visited the hotel many times before the wedding day and greeted each time by Daniella, Anthony, Scott and Scarlett. For a chat, planning and just to look around. Every guest who attended last week appreciated the hotel and gorgeous picturesque surrounds. Our photographer and videographer loved every minute with so many views and backdrops to choose from. From the minute we arrived the day was managed by the amazing family and staff. Daniella took care of everything and everyone. Showing when them where to go and making sure all the finest detail was perfect. (You will never see a table set so perfect!) The 3 course meal provided for our guests was amazing and delicious. Nobody was left hungry! We had lots of children attend our day and they were allowed to run and explore. We were lucky enough to book the whole hotel so many of our guests were able to stay. Everybody loved the rooms. Quality beds, furniture and amazing views. Breakfast was amazing, Anthony opening up the restaurant early so the little ones could get seated. I could go on and on, Saddleworth hotel is a real gem and we were so lucky to find it and have the best day of our lives. It’s a family run business which for us has proved to be the best because they really care and are now our friends. We cannot wait to find an excuse to return! Thanks again Daniella, Scott, Anthony, Scarlett (no1 bride security) and all the team at Saddleworth hotel. Xxxx

A very friendly welcome, comfortable room and good food, good beer and company. Ideally placed at the end of my second day on the Pennine way - it's a simple walk down the hill. A good traditional pub - not the sort of place where you have to worry about the mud on your trousers. Good traditional rooms above - and not quite as noise as I'd expected. The Rag pudding is a local specialty - try it!
