Hotel Nikko Alivila / Yomitan Resort Okinawa has a unique Spanish colonial style displayed by its exterior red tiled roof and white walls complimented by the blue ocean of Okinawa. The name "Alivila" is combination of the Spanish words "alivio" (relaxation) and "villa" (country house) that perfectly defines business and leisure traveler's vacation experience here. Each of the 397 bright Caribbean style luxury hotel room accommodations have a dramatic ocean view and the various fine restaurants and bars offer a memorable resort experience.
Stayed here in December 2020 and the Xmas dinner was a highlight. While the hotel is very good, it falls back compared to the Club at Busena where we stayed the previous 4 days due to the small balconies, self-parking (especially when it rains) and inconvenient location (we were stuck in traffic for over an hour). Also note that the indoor pool costs extra. Solid 4 stars, but maybe we will try the brand-new Honshinoya Okinawa next door for our next vacation.

Located in the heart of NAHA, Kokusai street. Easy access to Naha's main streets and also to the Makishi station. Please enjoy the newly opened the outdoor pool and the poolside bar in this summer 2019! In 2018 the new building equipped with Spa( hot water bath , with no charge to our guests), and Art Gellery (Corridors of RAM Tower) has been opened. ALL non-smoking.
I stay over at the Palm Royal Naha every time I can when I come to Naha. Have been doing so since at least 10 years ago. They never fail to be welcoming, including to LGBTQ people such as me, even flying a little rainbow flag at reception along with rainbow shisa (the protective lions you see all over the island). I need not go into how well located they are (as so many other guests have also commented). Recently (in the last two years) they have even built a pool side that is perfect when you come back hot and flustered - either visiting the city or following a work appointment.

We stayed at EXES for our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. The rooms were huge and we had ocean view. We could use our breakfast tickets for lunch, which sometimes was buffer and sometimes a la carte. The facilities are amazing and at the time when we were there (late Sept.) it was relatively empty, so for instance sometimes we were the only people by the pool, or sometimes 6-8 other people where there. The only downside is that hardly anyone of the staff can speak English, actually only at checkout we found a person that spoke it fluently. But it was fine, just a heads up to keep that in mind. All in all, worth what you pay for!

Never back again there, valet parking staff is so really rude even I explained that I was carrying my kid he was asleep and couldn’t get out of our car faster, he gave us the angry eye contact and told me “check out” directly and I was complained about THAT staff with the his name, he seems without any apologies to me, and I told what the xxxx the staff talk to us, the hotel manager keep saying sorry about the outside weather too hot ... da da da ... come on? !It’s not that hot ok?!... even though he is hot, it’s none of my business, he can not put his emotions to guest,Ok!ay? Hotel manager told us refund the complimentary, I was not like that means I need this. Afterwards, when I went through the hotel lobby and the staffs let me have hard feelings that their eye contacts were too strange. I was the first time was there, it was also the last time.

Have frequented this hotel for the past two years, until I was deeply offended by their customer service and managers recently. The accident happened when I wasn’t able to enter my car at their parking lot due to the big vehicle next to me was parking too close. Approached the Front Desk Manager and I was told to either wait 1.5hrs for the owner to come back or to enter my car through passenger side. Was wondering whether they dare to talk to their Japanese customers in such way. The apology was also a joke as their management wasn’t even interested in any feedback and simply replied sorry, you can have a free cake as compensation, period. In conclusion, don’t expect any customer service if you are well travelled and know true Japanese hospitality.

Located on a lush private island on the west coast of Okinawa and blessed with azure ocean views from all guestrooms, Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa offers energizing experiences and aims to connect guests to who and what matters most to them.
Great location, superb food and excellent facilities. 2 outdoor pools and one indoors. Good recreational facilities but the snorkelling was a bit disappointing. Serakachi Robata restaurant is exceptionally good

HYATT REGENCY NAHA, OKINAWA Located in Naha, the political, economic and education center of Okinawa, Hyatt Regency Na-ha, Okinawa, will be the sixth Hyatt Regency and the tenth Hyatt property to be established in Japan. The hotel is located within walking distance to Kokusai-dori, the main tourism and entertainment district in the city.
On top of all, the staff here is truly hospital and helpful!! They are the stars of this hotel. What I love the most about this hotel is definitely the breakfast and lunch buffet at the restaurant. The seafood fest buffet on Thursday was amazing. The room amenity was very sufficient and I like the welcoming gift of "Chinsuko" that tasted really good. However, the access to the public transportation is bit of unsatisfying as they don't offer any shuttle services to major stations, shopping malls or airport so it would be terrible if it's raining as you may need to walk a little bit if you're not driving by yourself.

Foreign Currency exchange machine is available.
We stayed for one week at this hotel. The room was fine but we had an obstructed view overlooking American Village. It would have been nice to have a clear view out the window for the week. The breakfast buffet was good and had enough variety for 7 days. We were disappointed that the beach was closed for reconstruction.

<What we liked about Southern Beach Hotel> Oceanfront view from the room and literally it stands in front of the beach (artificial public beach called "Bibi beach"). It's only 20 min drive from the Naha airport. We could choose breakfast from usual buffet style, Japanese Pre fixed style, Western Pre fixed style, breakfast box delivery to our room (you need to book before the day for the pre fixed breakfast and box delivery) . There's several Okinawan foods at the buffet. Nice opportunity to give a shot. Prices at vending machines for drinks could be very expensive at hotels in Japan but they offer same price as outside. Free wifi provided. Our room and anywhere in the hotel was all very clean. They kindly let us use a card to access shortcut to the Bibi beach after we check out the hotel. If you just wish to walk around the beach and dip your legs without swimming after checkout, there's towels and showers at hotel outdoor swimming pool area so we could use them so you do not have to pay anything at the beach after you check out. Or, you could just pay for the Bibi beach facility. I guess it will be very crowded during summer and the area you are allowed to swim is so tiny. We visited Gangala valley and it was reasonably close by taxi. It was one of our highlights this time. You can use local buses and hire bicycles to visit restaurants and supermarkets. Due to some limitations, we gave up Double Tree Chatan and chose this hotel. I believe we made a right choice. However, we should have rented a car to stay here. <Things we felt disappointed> Location; We knew people warned it's middle of nowhere but we did not expect THAT far. Unfortunately, it was only a weekend visit to Okinawa for us and we did not want to drive. There's even a single street light from the local restaurant (糸満漁民食堂/Itoman Gyomin Shokudo, highly recommend) and supermarket at night and it was raining. So it made us harder to walk. Basically, apart from the beach, all you see around the hotel is massive empty land and abandoned fishing boats at the port. Room; We could spend hours there to enjoy the view (and watch airplanes) at the balcony but there's a wall between us and right side of our room but NOTHING between the left side of our room. So, we had to choose timing to avoid bumping into the neighbours. I think the people diagonally upstair could see us at the balcony, too. Fridge was small so you cannot put many stuff you bought from the market there. Breakfast buffet; Others reviews how it could be busy. It was busy but OK level in late May but I wonder how busy it could be in proper holiday season. Due to the location problem, I don't think there's much choice of breakfast around the hotel. To be fair, It's not the hotel's problem, it's just the weather problem. We could not swim anywhere (in the pools or at the beach) during our stay. So, overall, it's a very kind comfy hotel but the rain at night and heavy fog in the morning made us difficult to say it's a satisfied stay.

Great stay at this hotel. Close to a supermarket which I only discovered halfway through the trip; and also close to the monorail which we used to get everywhere. There was a casino close by but we did not have any interest in that. Loved the PJ's provided, they were the best.
