Anaiki Motels offers a home for your next holidays with an amazing waterfront location in natural surroundings. The motel has direct access to the sea track that leads to the historical Avaiki Caves and Avaiki Reefs. This location is providing the reef pools and cave pools are at your doorstep for swimming, snorkelling in one of the most amazing caves on the island. Well appointed BBQ area and strategically located swimming pool with breathtaking ocean view recently added to our property.
What started out as a family holiday for 4 ended up an extended family holiday of 20 as everyone wanted to come to Niue to swim with the whales, we booked all of the Anaiki units and sent the rest of the family down the road. Anaiki is not a flash motel however the warmth of the host IIona, the proximity of the rock pools, amazing views and the very comfortable beds more than make up for the tiredness. Cliff top BBQ’s, a pool for the kids to play in and a fabulous viewing deck to watch the setting sun and maybe a whale or 2 makes for a wonderful and memorable holiday. We found Anaiki Motel a great place to holiday with family and we’d definitely recommend as a place to stay.

We went as a family group so booked 3 bungalows at Taloa Heights. This worked really well for us. The rooms were clean and tidy. The full size fridge/freezer was great. We found that the location was perfect. A short walk to great snorkeling spots, the wharf and eateries. A short drive to the supermarket.

After our first booking for accommodation on Niue became unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances Stafford and Salome came to the rescue and certainly went the extra mile making our stay the best. They say local knowledge is a great thing and we sure came with plenty of questions about this fascinating island and its history, Stafford, a long time local, or one of his regular guests at the bar were more than helpful enriching our stay on this fascinating island. After an afternoons snorkel trip further up the coast or one of the many walks on the island a cold drink in this climate is a must, whether it be icy beer or a fresh coconut calling by Stafford and Salome 'Sails Bar' is an excellent choice and great way to just relax and watch the sunset to complete the perfect day.

Oz, thank you for having us at your guest house. We loved it, starting at the airport where you met us with your beaming smile. Our family suite came with a rental car, very relaxed, spacious, clean, no mosquitoes as this was our main concern for our boys. Enjoyed chilling out on the verandah for breakfast, dinner, good convo with lots of laughter & a glass or two of wine..lol. The outdoor communal kitchen was handy, great idea. Thank you for the coconuts & pawpaws. Real value for money & a great host. We totally recommend Alekis to anyone who loves the tropics. Fakaaue lahi Oz. Jury, Steve & boys

The facilities are basic and nothing fancy, but the location is very convenient. The biggest highlight of this place is the kind-hearted owner Moka who is such a wonderful woman. She brought us Niuean food and told us lots of stories. She offered to help in any way she could. She has a great outlook on life and is a sweet person to sit and have a chat with. Thanks for being our Niuean mom and thanks for bringing us a delicious Uga!

Neal picked me up from the airport and showed me the highlights of the town on our way to the guesthouse. He offers furnished units and single or family rooms. Hiring a car does help to see more of the island, Neal has bikes that you can use but you have to be aware of dogs chasing you on the island.

Located in the village of Lakepa, on the eastern side of Niue Island, Lialagi was originally a school that was abandoned back in 1989 and has now been lovingly restored by the people of Lakepa under the leadership of the village assembly member Kupa Magatogia. Today, it offers unique and comfortable accommodations for travellers to the island of Niue.
We are a family of five, that travelled to Niue unsure of what to expect. What an adventure and wonderful time we all had! Staying at Lialagi with Mary and Kupa as our hosts was by chance, but turned out to be the best decision of our entire trip. The facilities were great value for money, modern and clean. Everything you would hope for in a down to earth setting. Mary and Kupa were incredibly accommodating of our needs – ensuring our stay with them, and the country they are so proud of was just right. Our first day started with a traditional meeting at the airport, followed by great tips on the local shops, tour of our new facilities and then fresh coconut drinks by a setting sun – this set the tone to a wonderful stay for some weary travellers. Throughout our stay the communal fridge always had fresh local fruit and there is unlimited coconuts in the front yard for you! Plenty of space for big groups or families – a front yard green and big enough to hold your own football game if you have the players. There is also accommodation upstairs for couples or singles. Niue has so many areas to explore at nearly every turn. Lialagi is a little, but beautiful trek from Alofi. The community is welcoming and the weather wonderful. We ran out of time now wishing for our return trip. If you want to reconnect with loved ones, host a big group, get great value for money or simply go home from your holiday truly relaxed, Lialagi is the place for you.

This freshly renovated, well-established property is situated right in the heart of Alofi, close to all shops and all public services. "The Personal Touch" Peleni’s is a former family home and still retains that "family" atmosphere.
We stayed at the guesthouse during the all time we spent in Niue. Ensuite rooms, 3 in total, sharing the living room and the kitchen. Milk, coffee/tea and sugar provided. Towels and lines as well. Fan available in the room, working efficiently. As a guesthouse it's perfect as a backpacker place. The family run work also for Air NewZealand and that helped us a lot to easily manage our pick up and drop off at the airport as we were on delay at our arrival and we didn't know that the check in for the departure closes really early compared to all the other airports around the world ( they do everything manually and they need time to process all the data and luggages ). Kitchen amenities provided, hot water never missed, strategic position ( at walking distance from all the place available in alofi ). 5$ p.p one way from/to the airport

Lanutahi house is part of Pelenis guesthouse where we first booked a room and a car. When we arrived at the airport, the lady was waiting for us. She told us that we wouldn't stay at Pelenis because we booked at the same time of someone else. So we were upgraded, yay! She gave us our car and we followed her to the full house (just for us). It's very spacious, one huge bedroom with a twin bed and a single bed, AC and a fan. The living room has a sofa bed and a tv, so you can be a lot more than just a couple in this place. Kitchen has stove, fridge, a brand new microwave and toaster, all whiteware you need to cook! They provided us with bread, milk, jelly and butter. We got new towels everyday. It was a lovely stay. Niueans are the nicest people ever. Thank you!
