A small luxury hostel with 12 rooms (recommended for over 13 years old). It is eco-substantiable and respectful with the environment. It is located in one of the most exclusive areas of Nerja, at only 250 meters of the most popular beach of Nerja, Burriana beach and a 10 minutes walk to the Balcony of Europe. Continental breakfast with ecologic products. Roof terrace with solarium and sea views.
Pros: - The room is clean, the service is A+ even if ghostly. The fact there is no key, only a code is handy when going to the beach. - The rooms are affordable. - Free juices/coffee/water along with dining area being opened till 2 AM is a plus; - Don't miss "Que comemos hoy" for lunch a few blocks away. Good local food at bargain prices (make sure you get the chicken with fries at least once but everything is good and cheap). At night Dolores El Chispa are La Puntilla are fair bets. Cons: - Location is problematic. It may be a "10 minutes walk" to go to the beach as others have mentioned but that walk uphill is fairly arduous on the way back. This may be fine for younger folks but people of a certain age or with disabilities may be hampered especially on the way back up at the end of the beach day. - The same walk limits the number of restaurants available especially on Sundays/Mondays since the Burriana restaurants are off the list unless you wish to walk back up (as a side note Calle Bajamar which is the only direct link to Burriana beach is currently closed on most days (June 2022) which makes it even more difficult accessing that area). - Although breakfast is more than decent, it gets rather monotonous after a few days and everything is identical every day. They have to do something about the breaking knives as well. - Considering this is a "For Adults" resort, I am not sure what the point is of a the chute/slide other than generating mindless millennial chatter on Instagram. A small pool would have been more welcome.

The Adults Only Hotel Riu Monica opens all year round and is separated from the beach only by the seafront promenade. Shops and restaurants are nearby and downtown Nerja is just 800 m away. This small town has a pleasant ambience all year round, with its narrow streets and gastronomic offer. The RIU Classic Hotels offer comfortable rooms and excellent facilities with great leisure and relaxation facilities, as well as international gastronomy. Enjoy a relaxing holiday - whether alone, with family, partner or friends! The location is ideal because of its proximity to Frigiliana (7 km), Malaga (65 km) and Malaga Airport (AGP) (80km) and invites you to explore the area. The hotel has 234 comfortably furnished rooms with free WiFi and offers many amenities. Relax with a massage or get in shape at the gym. 1 outdoor pool and 1 indoor pool. Evening entertainment. For lovers of gastronomy, live cooking stations and themed buffets at our main restaurant, as well as a Spanish restaurant; lounge bar with dancefloor and stage and poolside snack bar.
Accommodation was lovely and the food excellent. The restaurant was run very well staff very attentive always clearing up after each course. Hotel was situated in a good position for the beach and the town centre. Our room got cleaned every day.

The Parador de Nerja sits on a cliff above the sea on the Malaga coast, amidst wonderful beaches. As you surely know, in Nerja, summer is blue, adventurous and welcoming. The hotel will greet you with a magnificent garden in which the greenery contrasts with the blue of the swimming pool. The bright, spacious interior is very comfortable and almost all of the guest rooms have balconies facing the sea. The superior rooms offer spectacular views of the Mediterranean, the Sierra Almijara mountains and the lovely cliffs. The Parador also has an elevator that directly accesses Burriana Beach.
I would highly recommend this hotel. My boyfriend and I are late 20's and were looking for a relaxing week and that's exactly what we got. The room was spotless, spacious and had everything we required including a gorgeous view. The hotel was lovely, staff were really friendly and the breakfast had a good selection. The pool was gorgeous and there was no worries about getting a lounger as there were so many and everyone was very respectful. To top it off the location is perfect, the lift gets you right to the beach and there are a selection of restaurants down there and then if you go out of the front of the hotel it was only a 10 minute walk to the hustle and bustle. We are already talking about going back!

Beachfront located in Nerja, one of the most legendary town in the province of Malaga, famous for its popular Balcon de Europa and its spectacular Caves. The complex is just two kilometres away from the town centre and is comprised of six floors with a total of 216 rooms. Furthermore, the hotel boasts two outdoor swimming pools (one for adults and one for children), large garden areas with sunbeds and direct access to the beach. The complex's facilities are further complimented by its main restaurant, bar, gymnasium, spa centre, hairdresser's and shop. Guests can also enjoy WiFi in all the hotel. Marinas de Nerja is an unbeatable destination for a family holiday, not only for its apartments' high occupancy limits, but also for its facilities which have been designed for adults and children alike. This is in addition to our comprehensive All Inclusive package. Not only does the complex boast the Beach Club (open during summer), it also has a Mini Club with a games area, and day and night time entertainment available during high season.
Enjoyed our stay overall and felt very relaxed on our return home. Understand few of the comments about the hotel looking tired, couple of years of limited income this could be expetced, During our stay cleaning of the outside of the building and trimming down the deal leaves of tall palm tress was being completed. Food was decent and you could always put a meal together, had better quality in the Iberostar down the road in Torrox but as i said a decent quality. Major plus was the excellent and attentetive waiting staff Pool was lovely and the grass area before the beach was a lovely chilled spot to relax and very peaceful Entertainment team work very hard and Leo is very much the main man making many holidays special with his time and effort. Mini club staff also very good. Nice beach which do require flip flops or beach shoes, managed to swim in the sea daily. Walked into Nerja a few nights, pleasant walk and taxi home, remember current condition require you to have a mask on!

The hotel is located in the heart of Nerja, at the "Balcon de Europa" square; a balcony looking to the sea.
We stayed in this hotel for one week, couldn’t fault the position close to restaurants shops bars but our room was awful. Very small with a view of a wall and a gas tank.. we asked reception staff several times for a room change, we were just told nothing was available. No balcony just a small sliding window with an awful view. We were half board which in my opinion wasn’t worth the money. The food was very repetitive and canteen standard. The bathroom was very dated and and in need of a complete re-Ferb.

I wasn’t sure if the Boutique name was just marketing or for real, but it was definitely for real. Great features in room like three kinds of pillows and perfect lighting and shower. Very clean, modern aesthetic. Nice breakfast though no eggs other than hard boiled. Nice afternoon coffee for free. Also, the location is fantastic for Nerja- easy to walk to the crowded areas and some nice tapas right nearby, but very quiet. Exceeded expectations.

There is also Cochran´s, an authentic Irish pub-restaurant with a terrace affording splendid views of the sea and the beach. Visitors to Toboso apar-turis will therefore have no difficulty finding entertainment by day and by night.
Great if you don’t want to sleep! Party music and shouting, I feel like our bedroom is a disco. This place is a joke! No double glazing can deal with this! The room is shaking with the noise! People saying its quite are lying or haven’t stayed here when its busy/there’s a party in the awful Irish bar next door. This was a last minute booking, we usually have more time to research hotels but as easyjet cancelled our flights we had to come earlier. Lesson learned! Thank god we move to our proper hotel tomorrow. This place is a hell hole!
