Just came back from my third stay at the Inn and I can't wait to go back. The staff are the friendliest I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Especially our waitress in the bar. The grounds are beautiful - kudos to the gardening staff. The food is top notch. Try the Gumbo. You won't be sorry.

Abe Martin Lodge nestled in the hills of Brown County State Park, has 84 guest rooms, an indoor aquatic center, gift shop, two lobbies, one with a fireplace, 20 housekeeping cabins, 56 rustic cabins, and offers 12 beautiful Cabin Suites. We love pets, and offer pet-friendly accommodations as well. Our Little Gem Restaurant is open daily. The lodge has beautiful outdoor verandas overlooking the sloping back lawn, park and the hills. The Lodge truly has accommodations to meet any need, with ample meeting rooms for business meetings, reunions, weddings, and more. Located 10 minutes from downtown Nashville , known for its quaint atmosphere and epic local shopping, and the Brown County Music Center.
Lodge employees were friendly and attentive but I felt under staffed. We rented a family cabin; bags of ripped garbage exposed under front porch, beer cans strewn around deck, an old Christmas tree laying next to the front steps (in May; Really!), killed several roaches inside, ripped shower curtain, dirty furniture and floors, etc. it’s a cabin in a state park so not expecting too much but it would have been nice to at least have the garbage removed and place cleaned up before we arrived. I get that they are renovating some cabins but it still should have been clean. Reminded me of a place that had seen too many college weekend parties. In-laws had a room in the lodge and it was just ok but at least clean. The park is very nice but the lodge and cabins desperately need some professional management. 3 stars for convenience, location and friendly lodge employees which saved a 1 star review.

I have a problem with accents. I can not understand any one who has a strong non English one. I think the girl behind the counter noticed that quickly. Deliberate misunderstandings. But, she did manage to fulfill our request for a room on the first floor. The room was very clean but the AC/HEAT ran so loud we had to turn it off for the night. I believe she knew that, and gave us that room without saying anything. Poor customer service issues all over the place.

This is one of the genuine motels of days past. The 30 rooms and 1 loft are immaculate, and most days you will find the sheets hanging out on the line to dry. This two-story, nostalgic motel has real home town charm, complete with themed rooms and many comforts of home. Staying true to traditional motor lodges, the rooms feature clean sheets, comfy beds, and vintage tiles in the bathrooms. Choose from king hot tub suites, two doubles, one queen rooms or a private loft with indoor hot tub.The owners are super friendly and make every effort to make your stay extremely comfortable. There is an outdoor fire pit, chairs outside each room and an indoor event/party room for celebrating special occasions. Reasonable rates, easy access and convenient to all outdoor recreation, attractions, shops, restaurants and events.
I don’t like leaving negative responses. I will say it only has minimal stuff. This place could have so much potential with a lot on TLC. Really outdated when it’s the only place available there is a reason. Best tip is to move on stay elsewhere.

Bells and Whistles no but you will get a good cottage to stay in in a great location. You will not be very far from big woods pizza and other places to enjoy. You will feel like you have your own little home away from home by staying in a small cottage or a big one. Great views and it's so relaxing when you stay there and very friendly host they make your stay enjoyable.

I would like to start this review by complimenting the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel grounds seemed well maintained and we enjoyed the outdoors areas to walk our pets and play board games at night. The pool also seemed very poplar. The hotel is within walking distance of the shops and town. This hotel lost two stars due to the dated rooms. First off, there are no normal card room keys. They are a regular metal keys attached to a metal puck with your room number ; annoying to carry around all day. Our room was very clean but also very dated. The couch was worn out. The bathroom had a gas station style dispenser for your hands, body and hair soap. In closing, the Hotel Nashville could use a major update and make over. If this were to happen, it would be a much nicer place to stay.

My hubby took me here for an overnight getaway to celebrate my birthday. We stayed in the lavender room. Jim met us when we pulled in and told us where we can park. We signed for the room, he took us on a tour and showed us to our room. He let us know breakfast was at 9 and told us to enjoy our stay. The room was great. Huge canopy bed, fireplace, spa tub, small balcony. The bed was super comfy and bedding was nice. The spa tub was clean and well cared for. The towels were nice and fluffy. Breakfast was delicious and served with a smile. The Best part was we were able to bring our 2 small dogs along! We love to travel with them and it's hard to find places that won't charge an arm and a leg!!!

We are a beautiful retreat that offers an 18 hole golf course, driving range, full service pro shop, sports bar, event facility, wedding and reception facility, an outdoor pool and hot tub, and on-site lodging.
Booked a condo for a concert that was postponed, and decided to come anyway. We love the area, and have stayed a few different places, and Salt Creek is staffed by the friendliest folks in the business. The condos are comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The 19th Hole has some of the best bar food around, and a fun and friendly bartender(try the homemade hot sauce). Can't wait to come visit again!

As soon as you walk in the door , it smells like Mold! There was a hole behind the door Water stains in the shower, dust in the vents. The bed was hard as a rock. Told the front desk, they said no one told them of the issues.
