Beautiful hotel, staff hard work
Reviewed By heartz321Positives:- Parking, Decor, Room, Views, Location, Surroundings. Negatives:- Customer service - Staff do not speak any English, well barely speak at all, hardly acknowledge you! The bar - for some strange reason, when requested, the staff would not allow us to have our drinks outside on the beautiful terrace, we were cooped up in the small and stuffy indoor bar area which is a massive misuse of the only selling point to this hotel - People come here to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the amazing views. We were told that the outdoor area is for the restaurant only, however considering that we visited during the pandemic, no one was sitting outside anyway! Additionally to this, yet again the service by the young and in experienced staff let this place down - we struggled to order a simple coke in the bar area, which in 2020 really should not be a problem, especially considering this is a university town! Unfortunately we would not stay here again, which is a shame as the property itself and the location are stunning.

Nice hotel but definitely over priced!
Reviewed By T KNice hotel, liked the room. The pool isn't great, it's very small and completely seethrough, people eating at the bar can see everyone's bodies while they are swimming, a little pervy. Room was nice but shower again, was just glass and whoever you're staying with can see you in the shower. Cute for couples but can't see how this works if you are staying with friends or family.. Drinks and food were over priced.

Friendly no frills hotel
Reviewed By DirkV650After one night at Ibis Styles Namur, i stayed a couple of nights in the Ibis Centre . Well located if you are on foot and opposite a Proxy Delhaize for your convenience . Although my group arrived at 11.00 , and although the rooms were not ready , the front office manager did her utmost best to accommodate us as soon as possible and this in impeccable Dutch . The hotel is older then Styles and lacks its design , the rooms are smaller , everything is a bit “ less “ but the peace and quiet , the plentiful well running breakfast and the truly friendly service make it an excellent choice .

Prijs/kwaliteit niet correct - heel teleurstellend ontbijt
Reviewed By Geoffrey79cWe betaalden € 157 per nacht voor een standaardkamer met ontbijt. Voor die prijs had ik toch voldoende kwaliteit verwacht, maar dit bleek helemaal niet zo te zijn. Twee van de drie dagen waren er bij het ontbijt o.a. geen roereieren, melk en bruin brood meer. Ook van andere zaken was vaak heel lang niets aangevuld. Ook qua variatie was er niet bijster veel. Weinig tot geen gezonde opties. De matras en hoofdkussens op de kamer waren ook niet van de beste kwaliteit en i.p.v. een matrasovertrek lag er een gewoon laken op de matras, dat schuift constant weg bij het bewegen. De ramen waren echt vuil en ook bepaalde wandtegels waren vuil. Onder het bed lag een hele laag stof en pluizen. Volgens mij werkte de airco ook niet en de eerste nacht was het vrij warm op de kamer. De ontvangst was zakelijk. De zaken waar we wel tevreden over waren: De douche. Heerlijke regendouche en bijna onmiddellijk heel warm water. Het interieur is ook mooi; een mix van modern en strak en enkele oudere elementen om alles wat gezellig te maken. De kamer was ook voldoende groot. Ook de ligging van het hotel (op drie minuten van de autosnelweg) en de gratis parking zijn pluspunten.

Traditional Hotel in Convenient Location
Reviewed By TravellingDaveBI stayed for just one night. Wish it could have been more. A friendly welcome at reception, and a large spacious room with a comfortable bed. The hotel is quite large and traditional. I was pleased I chose to stay here. The location is good, opposite the railway station, and very close to the shops, restaurants, bars and the sights. A very good price too.

Reviewed By hamacas78Very modern and stylish rooms in a very old building. Parking can be bit of a problem, but otherwise it was a very nice place to stay. spacious room, good selection for breakfast. did not try the restaurant but it looked good.

Great place to stay!
Reviewed By BlueisleClean, comfortable, and very friendly reception staff. Each bed has its own plug and mini light, and each room has its own shower cubicle. The setting is also quaint and lovely as it is situated by the river, so you always have a great view while looking out the window. They have a good selection of beers, nice music in the afternoon and night and a great breakfast in the morning. There is really nothing to complain about except maybe for its proximity to the city center, as it takes quite a walk to get there...but hey...we all could use some exercise. If you end up in Namur, stay at this place and visit Piano bar too.

Très gentille, discrète, attentionnée, elle nous a fourni de bonnes adresses de restaurants. Maison située dans les hauteurs, rue calme avec belle vue sur la Meuse, côté rue. Jardin calme. Nous y sommes senti comme chez nous.

Dans la maison d'hôtes, 3 chambres de luxe avec salle de bain privative, WC, TV, Wifi, cafetière etc... dans le Gite, une chambre familiale communicante de deux à quatre personnes avec SDB, WC séparé, TV, Wifi, cuisine, jardin. toutes les locations ont accès au jardin, au parking. il y a un local à vélo, de quoi les nettoyer. les animaux domestiques sont autorisés mais pas en chambre.

Attractive B&B, great view of Meuse, excellent food
Reviewed By telcotravellerIn room 4 at top of building (quite a lot of stairs, if that is an issue?) Turret in the room had a panoramic view of the river. Bedroom was well equipped and comfortable. Ate in the restaurant three times and each meal was excellent, well presented and cooked. Nice selection of beers (including one from Namur I had never seen before). All staff were really helpful: Manager insisted on carrying my bag up to the room, lady who prepared breakfast was fun and helpful (she coped with my appalling French pronunciation with good humour and patience!!)
