Friendly and Value for money
Reviewed By Chakrit TI stayed at this hotel during my business visit to Nakhon Si Thammarat. Twin Lotus is one of the international standard hotel in the city. It is important to understand that the non-international brand in Thailand is tends to be relatively cheaper. Still, the hotel has many good features. First is the shuttle service between airport and hotel is included in our room rate. The hotel provided the van service for customers to travel to and from the airport. The cost of the room is around US$60 per night. So, it is extremely value for money. The hotel is maintain very well but have to admit that the hotel is old and giving the experience of the first class local hotel in Thailand. The room is in a good size around 30Sq.meters. We can see the view of Nakhon Si Thammarat City from our room. The bed is a good size with working table and a couch to see the city view. The bathroom is dated but well maintained. Interesting part is the toothpaste, soap, shampoo came from the famous Traditional Thai herbal products under the brand 'Dokbua Koo'. So, it is making a perfect sense now that the name Twin Lotus is literally an English translation of Dokbua (Lotus) Koo (Twin). So, the bath products are excellent, as the Thai herbal bath products under Dokbua Koo is one of the best Thai Traditional products. Generally, the hotel is a good Thai First Class hotel (That may equivalent to 3.5 to 4 Stars hotel under international Standard). The room design is dated but by current standard, I have to admit that they are on par with the like of Dusit Princess, Centara, Holiday Inn, Mercure, or Novotel franchises in Thailand.

Reviewed By Poole-KoratFantastic staff, great rooms, swimming pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Peak Boutique which we found late one night as we were on our way to see friends the next day. One of our group really fancied carbonara however they didn’t have the relevant ingredients so one of the stag went out to get the ingredient missing to enable us to eat. Great customer service, really nice to see. The breakfast was odd but when away you have to understand they won’t have everything you want. I would go back 100%. The staff make this hotel a 5. Treated very nicely

Good budget hotel, but a car is needed to get around.
Reviewed By Kevin SLook no further if you want to book an affordable room in central Nakhon Si Thammarat with nice and clean rooms. The hotel offers great Wifi connection, strong powered aircon, Thai style bathroom (where water is splashed all over after using the shower...) and a big refrigerator. The included breakfast is very basic (toast and jam + coffee). The location is so-so. You will need a car to get around, but at least the parking is plentiful.

Room rate is very reasonable. Recommended if you plan a trip to visit Nakornsithammarat. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Reviewed By NarayantravelogueWhen we landed at the airport hotel pick-up was waiting to receive us. The drive to the hotel was around 30 minutes. The driver was pleasant and spoke good English. The building from distance looks impressive and modern. Its right next to Tesco Lotus that has restaurants, food court and Swensens too. Lobby was massive and very impressive. We arrived around 10.30 am, since the room wasn’t ready Reception staff suggested that we should do some sightseeing and guided us with a map and must see places. We were offered a welcome drink and all the check-in formalities were completed. When we returned around 4 pm, our room was ready. They had allocated us a corner room on the 14th floor which had a fabulous view. The room was nice, clean, functional with all the amenities that one would expect. We had a fruit platter with a traditional welcome letter from GM. The bathroom was clean and functional with all the amenities. Breakfast was the best that we ever had at any of the regional hotels in Thailand, the spread was wide, traditional local fare, continental with a choice traditional tea and coffee too. There was variation in the choice on the second day. The staff here was also very courteous, helpful and had working knowledge of English. On the second day we decided to enjoy cocktails at the lobby bar. The best was the musician who was not only versatile on various instruments such as Piano, Violin, key board but also had a lovely voice. He played songs of our choice. When we learnt that he was 77, that was a wow factor. Overall a fantastic experience.

La con is a small hotel located at the central part of Nakhon Si Thammarat, one of the most ancient cities on the southern part of Thailand The building consists of 21 accommodation units with the ground floor as a lobby containing all the material that have been used in this hotel including wood, brick and glass block for the interior part. The viewpoint to the cityscape and Phra Mahathat temple, an important temple of the city, can be seen from the fifth floor of the hotel. As for the landscape design, the architect delicately designed to be part of the experience to the hotel by using the verticality of the round bar steel and reinterpret them into a form of tree. By taking the most advantages from the localization including material and the well – craftmanship skill of the contractor team, this allow the architect to be able to experiment through the variation of ideas and construction method which create a satisfying outcome.

Reviewed By murrsterusWe stayed only two nights but it was very nice. Boutique hotel with clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast and food on the top floor with nice view over the city. Big shower, double set of pillows and enough electric outlets to charge everything.. The only minor setback is that the walls and windows are not very soundproof. Will be back next time in Nakhon Si Thammarat

Didn’t get a chance to stay
Reviewed By annkolesniIt’s never happened to me and my friends before at any other hotels, but the staff Hop Inn Nakhon Si Tammarat didn’t let us stay due to passport issue. As I’m foreigner, they requested my passport upon check in, what is actually normal (I also work at hotel industry). But I’m Thai resident for many years, and I always use my Thai Driving License (with passport number on it) to check in to many-many hotels in Thailand, including another Hop Inn. Showing photo of the passport in my phone didn’t help as they requested to see my visa! I did’t see any effort of the staff trying to help, they seems don’t care and not even say sorry that cannot accommodate me and my friends (by the way, for my Thai friend they agreed to accept Driving License). Weird, how staff don’t care their guests. Luckily, ee found another hotel in 5 minutes away, which was pretty nice to accommodate us without any problems.

Reviewed By BreizhoMandynok Hotel, booked on Agoda, including breakfast. I chose this hotel because it has good reviews on both TripAdvisor and Google Maps, and because it included breakfast. People praised the Buddhist artwork and it seemed like a stylish hotel. When I arrived, I wasn’t that surprised that the young woman looked unsure when I said I had a reservation, as I had booked it earlier that morning. She then checked me in, but when I asked where breakfast was, she said there was no breakfast. I was then very disappointed by the way she acted. Her name was Noot and she was the manager. Even after I had shown her my Agoda reservation that stated breakfast was included, she still didn’t believe me. She said they didn’t offer breakfast on Agoda. I had to show the Agoda website on my phone, showing breakfast was listed. Even then she didn’t apologise or acknowledge that maybe I was right. Instead she got on her phone. This was all taking a long time just to check in. I didn’t understand what she was doing and she told me she was trying to talk her sales person, who had apparently made a mistake. I don’t know why she was doing this now and why she was making me wait so long. This was clearly the hotel’s fault. I was just asking for something I had booked and paid for. Noot then begrudgingly said they would deliver breakfast to my room tomorrow morning. I had stayed calm and polite throughout our conversation, but when you have a disagreement with somebody and then they bring you food, it’s difficult to trust that food. I didn’t feel like eating the breakfast they brought me the next day. I left to find a different place and will never stay in this hotel again.

Reviewed By Guy PJust 5km away from Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport, B3-hotel offers a nice alternative for other downtown hotels or resorts. The hotel is located in the middle of the fields, just 500m off the road leading to the airport. Rooms are functional and with a kind of modern design. Mattress was too soft for out taste and showed signs of over-use, and the WIFI was not too good (we were on the second floor), but apart from that the room was perfect for a one night stay before catching an early morning flight. Taxi for the airport to be ordered with reception. 200THB seems to be the standard fare. The hotel has no catering facilities, but there is a nice restaurant just 50m across the soi serving lunch&dinner. Open till 22h.
