Reviewed By Deeksha88We had visited 15-17th April and had an amazing time at the homestay. The staff was courteous, food was delicious and freshly prepared (this had to be ordered well in advance) but the best part was the location and access to the beach . I want to specially thank the staff which helped with room delivery of food for my toddler and elderly in laws on special request ( they typically don't do room service) We had stayed in the sea facing apartment which was clean and well kept with a beautiful view. A couple of minor improvements - the grass near the play area was very overgrown and could be better maintained for kids to play. Also both days on reaching there was no one to answer the gate after multiple honking also ( it is a very thin road so there was a minor jam by the time gate opened) Of course these are very minor areas of improvement and our experience overall was very good. Definitely recommend for a nice peaceful getaway with friends and family.

Holiday Disaster
Reviewed By GSaksenaWell let me put it as getting in and out off the property had always been a challenging task thanks to the unplaved almost 1-1.5 kms of the approach road to this property. Trust me it’s not for the faint hearted ! More so if you love your car ! An Off Roading Experience in itself ! But once you were at the property the staff just took care of you in every possible way ! This was our 4th visit to Mahua Baug. Having experienced what we had over the last 3 visits in as many years ..made us come back again n again. Appproach road not being a deterrent . This time we had booked 2 rooms 3 nights each from Nov 3-6. 4 adults with 4 kids (3 less than 5 years and one 10 years old) Plans were to celebrate Diwali away from home at a homely place. Kids came all prepared with their play tents / games / crackers etc looking forward to a wonderful holiday at Mahua Baug Having left Mumbai home early around 7 and reaching Mahua Baug by almost 13.00 hrs with some halts in between we were a tired lot. Meanwhile the approach road hasn’t improved a bit over the years and on the contrary detoriated a bit more this year after monsoons. Up one arrival we were informed that the lunch is ready. So after keeping our luggage n freshening up we moved towards the dining area …that used to be below a mango tree with nicely laid table n yummy food along with a hammock or 2 for relaxing pre n post meals ! It is then we realised what we had got into this time. The gardens were gone..so was the mango tree all we saw was long grass and a property in shambles. There was no sign of any maintainance. “Beyond Stays” the company currently running the resort screwed up our short vacation on Day 1 . Another factor that stood out this time was on the insistence on full Advance Payment while booking ! I was hesitant doing that but had to give in halving had no choice because of fixation with Mahua Baug. While I spoke to Beyond Stays customer care in Noida we meanwhile did start having our lunch …!which comprised of a Non Veg Chicken Gravy Preperation / Paneer for Vegetarians/ Dal / Rice /chapati / Salad n lastly some cold small gulab jamuns ! They agreed for a complete refund and deducted 3 k plus for the lunch we just finished. Holiday was a disaster .. to begin with ! More so with Diwali weekend a day away all resorts were now booked or had jacked up there prices to levels to beyond what sanity would allow! Finding an alternate resort for our planned holiday ..was a tough one ! Sharing set of pics that we clicked while on the property and a set shared by Beyond Stays while booking the property… See the difference for your self ..how they cheat you ! Nisarga Resort is just 117 km from Mumbai and 187 km from Pune. The resort is the perfect way you can enjoy nature. Once you enter the resort you will just forget the entire life of stress, work.... everything!

Reviewed By 81_amit_kumarVery nice place for a family trip if you are planning to visit Kashid Beach / Murud Janjira Fort area. Pros: Very humble and polite staff, they all together make sure that your stay is comfortable. Clean rooms and other common areas, sea facing view from all rooms, Kashid beach is just 5 mins drive from the resort and there is a rock/stone beach just in front of the resort which you can walk to in the morning during sunrise. Mountains on the back of the resort which gives the resort a very nice look overall. The common garden is spacious, very green and sea facing. it is also decorated with nice lighting arrangement, which makes it look very nice during night. Food is nice, Fish thali is amazing and they make sure that you are comfortable during lunch/dinner time with food options. Breakfast is included with light items - Idli, Upma, Eggs, Pav Bhaji with Juice/Tea/Coffee. Suggestions: 1. The facility does not have intercom facility - they said they are working on it, and also they are always available if you just walk out of your room. 2. Food Menu card is not available, considering specially at night there is no restaurant near by, it is better to keep a simple menu card for guests to chose and order from room itself. 3.There is not much space to keep toiletries in bathroom, they should make some space for that around washbasin.

Reviewed By eab2124This is a fantastic hotel at a great price and with excellent management that puts to shame some certain Indian luxury brands. We made use of the hotel's excellent car service for pick-up at the nearest train stations (Roha and Mangaon). Food is quite good and can be brought up to the room, and the view, location, and attitude of everyone working here are top notch.

From mumbai you can directly take the road trip orelse travel in m2m ferry to take a different experience and skip one hour of driving . Sea breeze has a total Santorini vibes. It directly has access to the beach and has a infinity pool touching the beach. The rooms are pretty good specially the one’s which are front facing you have an amazing view to witness. The package per person includes breakfast. Rest meals can we ordered on ala carte. Loved the vibes food and hospitality of this place. Looking for something budget friendly with friends or family this one is a must visit.

Reviewed By Sreejith34Hi all, I do travel on a regular basis. But it was very alarming to find such a lodge sort of a structure and called resort. Following shall be borne in mind prior even thinking about this place :- 1) There is no wifi connection in the room. I don't know will there be any hotel in india without a wifi in today's scenario. 2) Zero covid precautions taken , not even a hand wash kept in the room. 3) Hospitality of the staff is something which is unbearable. They feel as if this place is a five star hotel. And they really have no idea how to even speak to a customer or guest. 4) Kitchen not available. 5) No toiletries provided , even the bucket in the bathroom is of the 1950's. 6) it's just that there is this beach ahead of them barring that everything just remembles a lodge. 7) And after all this they charge you Rs 3600/- , however the so called resort ( which they call themselves) is not even worth Rs 1500/-.

Reviewed By oveekgSpentghts last weekend at Zamba Holiday Home. Here's my take on few points : 1. Accessibility : We trusted Google maps and it didn't disappoint. Easy to reach. Off main road. Access lane is motorable. Just 5 mins drive from the main road. You wud find directional board on the main road diversion point. However, being monsoon the entrace was waterlogged and muddy but not a major concern. The car cud easily enter the Zambia parking. 2. Rooms : Basic but clean. Most importantly we found bathrooms to be satisfactorily clean with geyser in Working condition. We took a non AC room on the first floor which had a nice small balcony on the back and huge terrace in front with views of greens all-around. Room was breezy and tidy with a small TV set just to keep you entertained. Didnt have problem of power outage too at night. 3. Distance from the beach : If you take the short cut that Google map wud suggest (a bit bumpy though) it's just 10 mins drive to Kashid beach. Else if you take the longer but better road condition, it wud take 20 mins. 4. Food : Chichen & Fish-items are better than the vegetarian options. Menu attached below. 5. Hospitality : The host Amitbhai is extremely courteous and wud try to fulfill guests requests as much as he can, even it calls for him to frequent the local market time & again. His wife is a nice cook. The place is well equipped for making your own barbeques and grills. We were served food on the first floor terrace itself. 6. Ambience : Nothing extraordinary but just good enough for a chill time with lush green and hillocks all around. You can unwind on the Hammocks next to the lawn. Few images of the surround places attached. Conclusion : Value for money for budget travellers or those who want to stay amidst the nature but are ok being away from the beach.

Reviewed By NasHBar11Neat and clean rooms. Staff very helpful and courteous. Enjoyed our stay and would surely come again. It is a little bit inside from the main road, but you can take your car. They have parking facility.
