Dated and dorn. Furnishings a bit banged up. Not clean. Layers of dust in room. Dim lighting. Noisy HVAC. Noise from hallways. It's not a dump, but also not better than just okay. I was wondering why I got such a well-rated hotel for less than half price. Where do these reviews come from?

Suburban Philadelphia Hotel
Pros: 1) Staff was friendly. 2) Bed was comfortable. 3) Location worked for me. Deal breaker: All the public areas of the hotel smelled horrible!!!!! I wore a mask every time I was in the public areas, but the smell was still overpowering. One area smelled super strongly of cigarette smoke (see below). The rest of the public areas smelled like sewage to me. My room smelled like one of those perfumed odor eliminator sprays. Cons: 1) The room I stayed in was advertised as a "King with Microwave/Fridge". The mini fridge would not even turn on. 2) The room was not very clean - notably there were hairs on the soap dish, one of the light switches had a gross smear on it, and the lounge chair was so filthy I was afraid to sit on it. 3) The room came with 1/3 roll of toilet paper. 4) No bath mat was provided. 5) The shower head did not move and there was a glass door to the shower stall rather than a curtain. Since the door opened on the side farthest from the shower head, whenever you turned on the shower, you had to endure a full on blast of freezing water. 6) The roller shade on the window barely worked. 7) There was a constant fan setting on the A/C unit that didn't work. 8)There is an active train track that runs along the left side of the hotel (when you are facing the front entrance). This was not disclosed anywhere during the booking process. The 1st night I awoke in a panic when a train went by as I had no advance warning and couldn't figure out what was happening other than I was suddenly enveloped in a cacophony. I was woken up every night multiple times by trains. 9) There were hand sanitizer stations located in various spots, but every one that I tried was empty. 10) The ice machine on the 3rd floor didn't work and there was no signage. I met a 4th floor guest at the 2nd floor ice machine who reported that the machine on her floor didn't work either. 11) The area of the 2nd floor ice machine had a STRONG odor of cigarette smoke every time I visited it. 12) It was raining when I was there and the floor of the stairwell was flooded as there was a big gap under the door. 13) The complimentary breakfast appeared to be mostly salty previously frozen items that were microwaved. 14) No maid service unless you actively request it. 15) Looks like a recent attempt was made to upgrade the room I was in, but the materials used were not high quality in my opinion. I will book elsewhere if I am in the area again.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Ft. Washington for 3 nights while on a business trip. Check-in was efficient and friendly. There were 2 staff checking in people in parallel. I really like the huge lobby, lounge and eating areas as the decoration is really nice and the area is divided into different zones. During breakfast in the morning, it was always easy to spread out. My room (standard king suite) had a nice layout. with a large desk. There were, however, no USB plugs, so bring our adapter. What I liked: - Large TV with lots of channels and a spare HDMI port and remote with Input selection (to plug a streaming box in) - Reliable WiFi - Quiet room to room with a bit of outside road noise or train noise, but the windows do a great job of muting sound - Super comfortable bed and nice linens - The min-fridge is not as small as those mini bar fridges, but about double the size - Microwave oven - Wall mounted dispensers in shower - Ice bucket and coffee maker - 1 real telephone - The hide-a-bed couch is actually comfortable - Heating/AC good - Large windows in both rooms To improve - Drains (sink and bathtub/shower were very slow to drain) - During breakfast, they have very upbeat lively music playing and then on top of that they have 2 TVs with sound on, one CNN and one FOX., so 3 sound sources in all, which doesn't seem to match the serene decor. Also, parking was plentiful and free

This is my second time using Fairfield Inn and Suites as our host hotel for a water polo tournament. Working with Pam in the back office to organize everything as we were a large group was seamless. Staff at the desk couldn’t be more helpful and the rooms were so clean. They even were helpful and cooperative to let us use there dining area for our own dinner buffet. We will be staying jere gain without a doubt for our next tournament!

We had 2 king suites for overnight for a wedding nearby. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly. One room had a problem with the air conditioning and the staff immediately gave us a new room and allowed us to check in after we returned from the wedding. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety and the 2 men working the breakfast were hustling and assisting people with the toaster. They never once seemed frustrated by any of it. We will definitely stay again if in the area. Great value for the price.

Our bartender was amazing. His name is Tim. Please give this man a raise. We sat at a table and we were ignored for 15 minutes. At the bar Tim made up for everything. Please make sure he knows that he saved the night. You weight your weight staff was horrible.

I'm shocked that a Hilton branded property offers such a horrendous breakfast, considering that all the other H2S's where i've stayed, and as a Hilton Diamond Member, I've stayed at at least two dozen, have the same wonderful breakasts. They offer oatmeal with toppings, appetizing egg dishes, fresh breakfast sandwiches, waffles, hard boiled eggs, juice, cottage cheese, cold cereal, and some type(s) of fruit, among other things. At the King of Prussia property however, this is the entire breakfast: cold cereal from a plastic canister, bread and bagels for toasting, and a waffle maker. That's literally it. Actually, the first two days of my stay they did have Jimmie Dean still half frozen biscuit "sandwiches, sitting in a warming case. You know? The kind you see in a convenience store in a bad part of town? Those have since disappeared, which is fine, as I stopped after the first bite of the first one. I paid for a Hilton room and amenities but received a Hilton room with an Econo Lodge "breakfast". Without question, this is the most disappointing Hilton property I've ever walked into, and I haven't even gotten into the lack of hot water, in the evenings no less. I incorrectly assumed there were brand standards for Home 2 Suites. I wont give up on the brand. I have been very satisfied with the brand, but i will give up on this particular one.

I’ll admit that I was a little nervous after reading some reviews prior to our stay but I can now confirm that we were treated well and our room was spacious, comfortable and spotless. We requested a higher floor room which was accommodated immediately and all the essentials were available there. We were only there for one night so we did not need the amenities but my picky requirements for a brief hotel stay were met. I will return if I’m ever in the area again.

My experience was extremely terrible at this hotel the Hyatt Place Philadelphia / King of Prussia. Moldy musty smell in the room. Some type of bug was in my room or seed. Someone came into in room that stayed in another room.
