Ideally located in the Carre d'Or, a few steps from the casino, the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. This luxurious Belle Epoque style property was built in 1886. It was entirely renovated by acclaimed French architect Jacques Garcia, who created a palace of 125 rooms and suites combining glamour, sophistication and sensoriality with Mediterranean charm, in tune with the times. In 2017, this expert in design and luxury revamped the main public areas to further enchant them. Executive Chef Christophe Cussac invites you to live a unique and convivial culinary experience within the footsteps of his ‘spiritual father’, the late Joel Robuchon. The Metropole Monte-Carlo Restaurant is currently closed for renovations and will reopen in April 2022. Yoshi, the only Japanese restaurant on the Cote d'Azur to be awarded a Michelin star since 2010, showcases typical Japanese cuisine in a contemporary and daring decor by Didier Gomez. Odyssey is a charming poolside restaurant within a ‘haute couture’ setting designed by Karl Lagerfeld. Finally, the Lobby Bar, with its glamorous, elegant and warm ambience, for all sweet and savoury taste buds. The House of Givenchy opened its third Spa in the world, the Spa Metropole by Givenchy in April 2017 at the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo. Also designed by architect Didier Gomez and ideally integrated into the Palace, the Spa Metropole by Givenchy embodies the philosophy of the House's core values: the choice of an exceptional location, with the luxury of space, sophistication of treatments, and a haven for absolute pleasure and well-being.
This is our fifth visit to Monaco but first time we have stayed at the Hotel Metropole. Everything was first class from the moment we arrived to the time we left. We will certainly stay again when we next visit in November.

Relaxation, the art of true living, an unmistakable sophistication – such is the spirit of the Belle Epoque which brings the Hotel Hermitage to life. A century later, the same spirit is still intact in the Eiffel Hall, the salons, the guest rooms, each with an individual, intimate atmosphere where discreet luxury joins with classic pleasures from times pasts.Overlooking the Mediterranean, the Hôtel Hermitage cultivates elegance at its highest level. Born with the 20th century, this historic palace imparts an intimate, relaxed atmosphere in which serenity is re-invented with each new day.
Nice hotel in the centre of Monaco. Easy access to the shops, casino and numerous restaurants. Views over Monaco from some rooms and the pool are exceptional. Rooms are well furnished and staff very friendly. Ironically for a city the size of Monaco, the hotel is massive so bring your walking shoes.

TV stopped working in Saturday. Informed reception Sunday morning-told me it wil be fixed during the day. Came back at 19:00, TV still down. Reception told me, technician is on his way...went out for dinner at 20:00, reception told me technician will arrive in 21:00...came back at 22:30, TV still down. Things may happen, but lies are unaccaptable. If a hotel is not able to fix a technical problem within decent time, it is not of high quality...apart from that lies are a "No-Go"!

This is probably one of the very few real beach resorts in Monte Carlo. Very good location with a very nice beach club in the hotel. I upgraded to an ocean facing room which was very nice. We also had a balcony which was exciting. The check in lady was very nice and warm and efficient. Room was large and well maintained. Only issue was the air condition which was not strong enough. I did ask the front office to look into this but nothing happened. This city at the hotel is definitely a party place. Loud music in the lobby and by the pool and the beach. If you want quiet and calm do not come here. But if you want a lovely beach atmosphere this is the place. The hotel was sold out and we could not valet park the car because the garage was full. We had to park ourselves a couple blocks away. This was not exactly a problem. You see a lot of interesting people in the hotel so people watching is a plus. The beach and the service there was excellent. It is about a 15 minute walk to the casino square and to the port where a majority of the restaurants are. Breakfast was spectacular and the service was excellent. I would come back. Only reason why I don’t give 5 stars is the fact that some of the facilities you want for a 5 star rating like air condition and valet were not available or working properly. I would go back

It is a real shame that I can't provide a review of the hotel facilities as we didn't get there, due to a late flight cancellation, and as a result we have been charged for a 'no show'. The disappointing aspect is that I emailed 3 times in the last 24 hours, to keep them updated without any response, and even asked for date extensions once we discovered we couldn't find an alternative flight. It is not the hotel's responsibility that flights are cancelled, and they are within their rights to charge per their conditions, however as a minimum, I would expect a reply to correspondence, advance notification of a credit card charge, and a copy of the paid invoice by email. I have had nothing at this stage.

Arnaque !
