We stayed here after a very difficult day on the camino. The trip to Molinaseca is a tough one and when you arrive in town, seeing the picturesque river and quaint town, it is so amazing. The hotel was perfect for a night's stay. Our room had windows that opened up to the patio where people were enjoying the evening. There is a restaurant for breakfast and it is centrally located. The front desk basically closes down, so once you check in, it is self-serve and you let yourself in and out with a key.

Great place to stay - clean, comfortable and good value. But best of all is Joseph, the host, who made us a wonderful breakfast - scrambled eggs, yoghurt with local honey and told us lots of interesting stories at the same time. He also gave us helpful tips about where to eat at our next stop and info about the festival in Ponferrada.

Stopover in this little village overnight with our Motorhome and chose this restaurant for lunch. A warm welcome and allowed to eat from a choice of menu del dia which is not normally allowed on a Sunday. Food was great, especially the puddings. Thank you.

During auto trip through northern Spain I decided to go back to Molinaseca to see once again after being there on a Camino trek a previous year. Natalie greeted us and provided all the necessary information. Keep in mind this is a small hotel in a very small village. As with most establishments in northern Spain they are clean and comfortable. Parking is a short walk in a municipal lot. Slept well.

Jose The Host very informative, friendly, and nice to be around. His facilities were modern and well maintained. Lights, USB, and plugs by each bed. Self serve Coffee machine. I learned so much about his community and sister city, Shikoku, Japan. His care for setting up a seats and shoes for the next morning was a nice touch. Lots of space between beds.
