A nice pub for the evening with good beer. With respect to breakfast, not the best that I had. To summarise good business hotel.

The restaurant serves exceptionally good food, the breakfast was excellent, and the service was friendly and professional. We enjoyed every bit of our stay, and definitely would book here again.

Business trip felt like home
Reviewed By Ernie SWe stayed in the newly constructed wing. The rooms are spacious, just like the rest of the hotel and add the comfort of air conditioning which was especially welcome given the rare heat wave in the area. Very pleasant staff made us feel right at home. Great variety of delicious foods for breakfast. Excellent chef overseeing the dinner menu. Top notch all around. Lots of amenities for cycling enthusiasts, too!

Reviewed By JakewxmWell presented on arrival and easy to find. Bit of a language barrier with the staff but we got there eventually. Room was nice and window opens fully. Not very noisy unless the church next door has its bells going. No kettle or drink making facilities in the room. Pillows are very strange, 1 is massive and the other is tiny. Tv only has German channels which is expected really. Wi-fi is very good, we had 3 devices running off it all at once without any issues. We had a big problem on the first night when an old man walked into our room at 2am, absolutely no idea how as the door was locked. Spoke to staff the next morning who were baffled as to how it happened. Our personal thought is they registered his card to our room by mistake and he happened to return to his room late at night and couldn’t access his own room so went around until he found a door that worked. Come to this conclusion as one of our keys stopped working so seems the cards aren’t great plus easy mistake to make by reception. Spent the rest of the stay with the chair up against the door at night to avoid any more unwanted visits. Food was ok. Minimal choice and only small amounts put out at a time so if the restaurant was busy it was a bit of a who gets there first wins scenario. Like only 3 eggs put out at a time and 5 sausages. Once they were gone you have to wait while more were cooked. They have a Michelin star, although the food wasn’t that great. Looked into having dinner there but didn’t get what half of the menu was. Stuff I’d not heard of before. Hotel closes each day, at which point, they lock the doors. You can leave out the back and use you’re key card to get back in the front but no staff available after closing. Also, we had an issue where 1 card stopped working. Luckily we had a 2nd one otherwise we would have been locked out. Never seen this before in all the hotels I’ve stayed it. Very strange operation. Meppen itself isn’t great if you don’t speak German. We tried going out for food at a few places and decided against it as no one could understand us and we couldn’t understand them. Instead resorted to shopping at a local Aldi and McDonalds and used the self service machines.

Reviewed By FinnK683Nice return to the park hotel after the lockdown still friendly Staff with a family feel. Located in a quite surroundings the hotel offers spacious and clean rooms. The breakfast buffet is impressive. The restaurant offers good dinner options for local food indoor or outdoor.

Rude Manager/Boss
Reviewed By Thessa FI stayed 1 night in this hotel. Upon checking in, they couldn't find my booking on their system and the lady staff needed a help from her manager or owner. He acted so rude / annoyed because he can't also find it himself that made me scared. Which I believed, it's not needed to act like that and it's so unprofessional. I feel pity for his lady staff because they have to face his rudeness everyday. Anyways, the room was okey its kind of old and the breakfast has many different choices to choose from.

Idyllische Auszeit in Meppen.
Reviewed By 140flosDas Hotel liegt etwas abseits von der Meppener Innenstadt und ist wirklich schön, da der Garten sehr ruhig ist und einen tollen Brunnen hat. Das Haus scheint sehr neu zu sein, auf jeden Fall sind die Zimmer modern und sauber. Der angrenzenden Fitnesspark kann mit genutzt werden. Wir haben unseren Urlaub mit Fahrrad verbracht, hierfür steht eine eigene Garage breit, die benutzt werden kann. Besonders ist das Frühstück hervorzuheben, hier gibt es eine reichhaltige Auswahl und die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich. Jedem Gast wurde frisch gebratenes Rührei angeboten. Alles wirklich lecker und frisch. Abends gibt es zwar keine Bar, aber ein Kühlschrank steht bereit, wo auf Vertrauensbasis Getränke genommen werden können, welche man bei einem schönen Sonnenuntergang im Garten trinken kann. Insgesamt einfach nur toll.
