For over 500 years, Market Harborough’s The Three Swans Hotel has offered a warm welcome to guests, travellers and diners. As a coaching inn, it dates back to as early as 1517 when it was known simply as ‘Ye Signe of Swanne’. Many famous guests such as King Charles I and Queen Anne have been welcomed through its doors. The 16th century building/ property blends traditional hospitality with the comfort of a modern hotel and has been providing excellent food, drink and warm hospitality for over 500 hundred years. The hotel is perfectly placed in the centre of the historic market town of Market Harborough and has it’s own large residents car park. There are easy links to local motorways and major road networks and it is close to the town’s railway station which has mainline services to London and the North.
Would highly recommend the hotel - the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They even had pillow mist in the room and a rubber ducky for our son for bath time. We also are big fans of the breakfast!!

Take a little time out at our Market Harborough Hotel - a short drive to this rural market town. But it's not all sleepy country charm - you'll also be well placed for exploring the sights and sounds of nearby Leicester and Kettering, and everywhere in between. Live fast at Rockingham Speedway or Silverstone Circuit, or slip into neutral with a treatment at Kilworth Hall and Spa. You could explore the great outdoors with a stroll around Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens. After a busy day, unwind in our tasty restaurant and relax in your new, modern room with extra-comfy Hypnos bed.
Not only are the staff the most friendly and helpful out of all the hotels I have stayed at but the positivity of their general attitude made my stay here all the better, Richard at reception was incredibly helpful with every issue and query I had. The restaurant has an amazing selection of food and the quality is second to none. I'll definitely be visiting as much as possible. Thank you to all the staff ?

The Royal George is a Village inn Close to market Harborough and Corby offering 4 en suite bedrooms a Bar, Restaurant and Terrace overlooking the Welland Valley
We stayed for two nights, and would highly recommend this pub for the accommodation, people and food. The owners have recently taken over and refurbished the rooms, which were all lovely and very comfortable. They were so helpful and could not have done more to make our stay a good one. The breakfast and dinner were all excellent, very high quality of food and service.

Tray of tea and homemade cake brought up the room ...Breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from and the homemade jams and marmalade were so nice i brought 3 jars to take home. We highly recommend a stay here and will hopefully return sooner rather than later. Thank you again Amanda it was a real pleasure to stay with you.

A privately owned and traditional grade II listed former Coaching Inn set in the village of Medbourne in the beautiful Welland Valley on the borders of Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire. The Inn comprised 10 well appointed en-suite guest rooms, a stylish restaurant and a separate Cafe (Cafe Nevill) Nevill in the courtyard.
Another visit to one of the best pub restaurants with accommodation in the UK. A chilled out vibe in the bar makes it easy to relax with a great range of drinks on draught. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, the dinner menu is creative, well presented and never disappoints. Breakfast is different to the norm and the coffee is deliciously moreish. The service throughout the pub & restaurant is efficient, warm but not intrusive. The bedrooms are comfy with luxurious bedding and the quiet village makes for a peaceful nights sleep. A special mention for Alice & Callie… their attentive service on our last two visits was the icing on the cake. We’ll be back very soon.

We are a family run site open all year round in the tranquil countryside of the Leicestershire, Northamptonshire border. Situated in a working farm set in 400 acres, with 15 acres designated for a perfect caravaning and camping experience. Brook Meadow offers a variety of magical glamping options and boutique chic self-catering lodges. You may hear the faint noise of a glider overhead, farm vehicles or children playing but otherwise you’ll likely forget all about ‘life outside’ as you drink in the lakeside view. We are a family friendly site; children and pets are welcome.
Spent the weekend at this campsite with family. The site itself is very pleasant around a picturesque fishing lake. Lots of space for kids to play and be free - but, this can be a double edged sword - a number of children were allowed to play a little too freely with zero supervision from their parents (not really the campsites fault but made the stay a little less enjoyable.) My second negative is the 'showers' if you call cold water dribbling down a wall with the occasional spurt of power a shower then you'll be fine. Otherwise, the staff were all lovely the site itself, as I said is Very nice, a lovely little shop and the cinema idea was nice (not that we used it) Would stay again, but probably avoid bank holidays and other busy times to try to avoid the kids.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly inn in Market Harborough, look no further than The Bulls Head. The Bulls Head features outdoor furniture, to help make your stay more enjoyable. The property also boasts an on-site restaurant. If you are driving to The Bulls Head, free parking is available. Best of all, The Bulls Head makes it easy to experience some great Market Harborough attractions like Harborough Museum, which is a popular history museum. The staff at The Bulls Head looks forward to serving you during your upcoming visit.
We had heard very good reviews so as a family we looked forward to visiting which was last weekend. The restaurant is very modern and staff were professional . However the food was not good. My wife had salmon which was overcooked and the broccoli was not cooked enough infact my wife couldn't cut it. I had steak which was overcooked . I did not want to spoil a special occasion by complaining but with prices similar to London prices i expected much better.

Imagine staying in a family-run bed and breakfast on a working farm set in the midst of the rolling hills of Northamptonshire's Welland Valley with animals tranquilly grazing outside. A converted Victorian barn within the farm complex offers three comfortable en suite rooms at ground floor level with their own private entrance and plenty of secure parking. Situated at the end of an avenue of lime trees, Sutton Lodge is only a 10 minute walk away from the picturesque village of Sutton Bassett. In fact its location - bordering the counties of Rutland, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire - will appeal to business people and tourists alike. The towns of Leicester, Northampton, Market Harborough and Kettering are all within easy reach while London is only an hour away by Inter City train.
We stayed for one night in the converted farmyard accommodation. Our room was spacious with en suite bath with shower over. Breakfast was served in an annex and cooked to order. We loved the peaceful location and the welcoming and friendly owner. We would definitely stay again.

A beautiful B'n'B nestled in a quiet corner of Medbourne, one of Leicestershire most picturesque villages. A 10 minute drive from both Mkt Harborough and Uppingham, Waterfall Cottage is an ideal base for explorers looking to strike out towards Rutland and south Leicestershire. The surrounding area has much to offer with Rockingham Castle, Rutland water, Uppingham Sch and the Eye brook reservoir.
My husband and I stayed here in early August for two nights for a friend's wedding. Elaine was a fantastic host, emailing me taxi numbers and restaurant recommendations before we arrived and being incredibly accommodating when we arrived late on the Friday evening. The room was clean and comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was great. Thank you Elaine!
