I had a fabulous 2 days stay at this hotel , situated very close to the beach and full of every comfort ( spa , outdoor swimming pool , garden ) . Lovely breakfast in the morning . Special thanks to the staff particularly to the amazing Simona at the reception , she welcomed us with a smile and made sure we had the best time possible . Will definitely be back !

Not cheap for an agriturismo but not bad for one night stay. A lot of flies and mosquitos but we are in maremma and breakfast as at home, maybe too much. People there are handy and let you feel comfortable.

Ricci Hotel is situated in the heart of Marina di Grosseto and has 38 rooms in the enchanting Maremma pine forest, a stone's throw from the sea. An ideal place for families and children.
We had a short 3 night stay in Ricci Hotel. We arrived late (11.30pm) on the first night and the member of staff who checked us in knew we had a long day and made us fresh bread and ham and delivered it up to our room in a few minutes. How thoughtful .The hotel was spotless and the staff were just so pleasant and helpful and efficient. We would have loved to stay a few more days.

We visited as a small family and had a dog with us, we loved it! We stayed a week in a mobile home (two rooms, each with a bathroom, and a living room + kitchenette) . Our child had a great time playing with other kids in the playground and soft play area (there is also a small arcade but not much fun) and enjoyed the animation (we went in August, there was animation from 10.30 till 12, from 4 till 5.30 and at 9.30 PM) . there are two cafes where to sit and relax, one pizza restaurant and a full restaurant, with really nice, well cooked food both very reasonable priced . the beach is only a short walk away, and the walk is very pleasant. Also, for the ones who are into sports, there are activities that can be done (horse riding, go ape, running is easy as around the campsite is flat and in very safe paths and also inside the campsite there is a calisthenic frame). Would highly reccommed!

Bring a sat nav so you can find the villa. Good large room in a nice quiet area, not far from the beach where you can find good restaurants.. owners are friendly. Bathroom is good. There is a hob to cook with.

We went in a large group and all agreed, the place was run-down and in need of maintenance and cleaning. After booking in, there was no sight of the managers unless you hunted them down. There is no private beach, it is a public beach too far away from the crowds for people to bother making the journey for. Despite that, it was a great holiday. There is lots to do in the region.

We had a very unpleasant experience at this property, we arrived at our accommodation and were told that we couldn’t check in with our babies. I previously called, txted and messaged the property via booking.com to ensure our babies could come (as the property does have no children under 12 policy) otherwise I would have cancelled well in advance and I explained that to the hosts well in advance, however we were told it was okay. Bizarrely, when we arrived we were told that one baby was allowed but not two. It was an extremely stressful experience, hosts at the property were quite rude and kept changing the reason why the babies couldn’t stay - first that they didn’t have beds for them, then that we couldn’t use our own baby beds in their room and finally that they didn’t want them in the pool/outdoors area. We travel a lot and this is the first time we have had such bad experience, we have a rental property ourselves and we really appreciate what it is like to be a host but this experience was beyond poor. We had to search for another accommodation and drive another 1.5 hr to get there with two 12 month old babies in extreme heat. Hosts didn’t offer any support and were quite rude, after we left they tried to charge our card for this booking even though they wouldn’t allow us to stay. It’s such a pity as it seems to be a really beautiful place but the customer service was appalling. Also, nobody at the property spoke English and I can see from trip advisor that this place is advertised as English speaking.
