A wonderfully quirky and fun hotel, a very clever original design with all public space in one open top floor which feels warm and very comfortable. If only it was in a more interesting ski area I'm not sure I'd ever go anywhere else. Loved the pool, saunas, food, staff, whole atmosphere. Rooms not huge (we had a roomy room) but have everything you need including the best hotel bed I've ever slept in. Right at the top of my list of places to stay.

Hotel Eder, 4 star - 50 years of hospitality! "The Eder" has been spoiling its guests for 50 years, first as a guesthouse, and now has a four star hotel. Now, just as then, hospitality, good food, and a special atmosphere are the main pillars of the business. Being so close to the Hochkönig, your holiday in the 4 star Hotel Eder will be relaxing and full of experiences, looked after by a hotelier family, who genuinely enjoy looking after their guests. That's what makes a holiday in Maria Alm unforgettable. Hotel Eder: Love at first sight! Pure alpine Lifestyle!
The friendly and special Eder family will do everything to make your holiday and stay comfortible at next level. It's like our second home after 30 years! We love to visit this hotel during our Winter Holidays. All staff is very hard working and friendly.

Our Hotel Niederreiter re-opened in July 2017 after a major renovation and redesign. We are perfectly located next to the lifts and ski slopes in the centre of Maria Alm. The vacation area offers lots of activities year-round, like hiking, mountain biking or skiing. The city of Saalfelden is only 5 km away, Zell am See 20 km. Arrive and feel comfortable – that’s our motto! Enjoy our relax-area with whirlpool, sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin. On sunny days you can sunbathe on our lawn or swim in our bio-bathing pond. We serve typical Salzburger specialities in our restaurant and our nice sun terrace. And the best: You get tasty pastries in our own confectionery daily. Our rooftop terrace with a unique view of the mountains is the absolute highlight. Enjoy our home-made ice cream above the roofs of Maria Alm.
My husband and I stayed here on the second leg of our holiday. The hotel is lovely. Spotlessly clean, well placed and everything you would want an Alpine village hotel to look like. The rooms were a really good size with a lovely balcony view of the mountains. The bathroom was big with everything you could need. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection to set you up for a day in the mountains. The staff were very polite and happy to help you whenever they could. Upon arrival we were given a free pass that enabled us to use the cable car and bus free of charge which was a real bonus. I would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel and hope to return one day in the Winter season.

The AlpenParks Hotel in Maria Alm lies beautifully situated in the heart of the Austrian Alps. All those who prefer more individuality, take a look at the holiday flats and apartments of the AlpenParks Residences, in the Dorfresidence next, or Residence Schmiedhofl only five minutes from the hotel.
Great hotel for a bike vacation in Maria Alm. The room was clean and with a nice balcony. Good breakfast and very friendly staff who provided us with a nice lunchbox for each day of riding. The hotel has a room for bikes and although it was not very big, we never had trouble finding room for our bikes coming back from our day rides.
