The big modern hotel consists quite a lot of different houses/buildings and it is 20 - 25 minutes walk to the historical centre. We stayed for a night in the superior room with a balcony. It is clean, spacious, quiet and facing the court. The bed and pillows are nice and comfortable and pillows. The furniture is modern, stylish and classy. The breakfast room is very welcoming and staff are very attentive. Unfortunately there are 5 guests not wearing the masks properly and the staff might be scared to confront them. There are not enough space for all guests in the breakfast room and some of them are sitting on the hallway or they prefer not to sit inside the room. All in all, I think it is a very nice hotel though my husband said he didn't feel like staying in the hotel as there are a lot of separate buildings and some are overlooking each other. It does make you feel like staying in a high class residential area.

We welcome you to the beautiful Hotel im Kornspeicher, a family and conference hotel. We are located in the scenic university city of Marburg, the geographical center of Germany. Stayed here recently on a solo bicycle tour. Was disappointed that there was no secure place to store my bike and the only bicycle friendly facility was an outdoor bike rack. Given it was raining this wasn't optimal. Disappointing given they advertise themselves as being part of the Bett+Bike group. The room itself was large and modern. The bathroom likewise was clean and very user friendly. It would seem the entire hotel is well set up to cater for anyone disabled. Breakfast was good. However the hotel is a way out of town and stuck in the middle of an industrial park so the surrounding area is not very attractive. You are a 5-10 min walk past warehouses along unlit streets to the nearest restaurants (pizzeria, doner kebab , greek) and train station. The staff could do with smiling too.

I recently stayed in a single room here. I knew from the website description it was an older room and would not be fancy, but I just needed a decent place to stay. I was pleasantly surprised how nice this older hotel was. My room was spotlessly clean, the price was fair, and breakfast was really good. Service was always friendly and they have nice extra touches throughout like a bedtime story laid on the desk. It's also in a great location. I have absolutely no complaints. I would definitely stay here again!

Delegates visiting the WELCOME HOTEL MARBURG's six conference rooms appreciate the hotel's 150 comfort rooms, ladies' rooms and spacious apartments as well the professional level of service provided by our team.
As I mentioned in the title you get 2 stars for 4 stars price. I stayed there 2 weeks. In the basic "4 stars room" is no: minibar, safe, wardrobe(only some rafts). They changed the bed linens only once a week not as in the european standards for 4 stars hotels is (twice/week). Over my 2 weeks stay they didn't fill the soap dispenser at all, of course I run out of soap over the first 5 days. The hotel is situated front to the lift to the OldCity (Oberstadt Aufzug). I couldn't sleep till 1:30am, because there are allways noisy people on the streets, which are using the lift. Poor noise cancelling windows. +++ Let's mention also some positive things: friendly stuff, very good breakfast, central location.

TUSCULUM means, "cosy abode", i.e. "favourite place to be" which has a special meaning for us. The challenge for us was to create many little aspects to bring art and life together as one. For our guest this means a feeling of comfort and cultural taste. This goes far beyond the usual idea of "coolness of designer lodgings." The only thing average about our hotel is the price. Even far from home our guest feels right at home. We have renovated the exterior of our house but still there's more to see on the inside than out. Please, come in - no need to push. Enjoy our ART-Hotel surrounded by peaceful downtown Marburg.
I had a single room named after Kandinsky. Room is very spacious and clean with comfortable table, not saying that the design is fantastic. Though I chose the room with shared shower, it was also very comfortable, since there are few rooms on each floor and each floor has its own facilities. The location is also great, just near the old city. Bus stop is within 2-5 minutes; 15 minutes by bus from the train station. Staff is absolutely great and very helpful. I left my phone in the hotel, and they were so nice to send it to me. Thank you, Roland and Holger once again!

This is a great location;15 minute walk from the bus station (20 at most). There are great restaurants and shops within a block. There is a bakery on almost every corner. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The size of the rooms were great and fit our needs. I would stay here again. The only Cons were the stairs if you have heavy luggage. One of the employees were very kind and helped us with our luggage. The other Con is the noise. YES, it's very noisy. It's very loud with your windows open. The Pro is the apartments itself are very quiet. You do NOT hear any of the other neighbors. I loved my stay here, just bring EAR PLUGS for the outside noise.

The Hotel is just 7 kms away from Marburg and is a Great Place to stay for a weekend. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We had room 24 which was large, overlooking the garden. There was a sofa, free minibar and wifi. The bed were very comfortable and the room extremely clean. On the ground floor there is a free coffee machine which is brilliant. The breakfast buffet offers a huge variety and is really very good. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the region, great value for money.

Nice Hotel room. A bit old fashioned, but beds are good. Very friendly staff, but the AZUBI's re clumsy. They still have a lot to learn. Do not use your customers as guinea pigs. Breakfast is not bad at all. Food style is like stepping 40 years back in time ;-) nice area though

We were pleasantly surprised by the awesome real food, home made lemonades and good service. We ate the schnitzel and home made rösti. Served with great salad. Even the kids loved it! We will definitely come back here!
