High in the Eastern Sierra of California is the growing ski resort town of Mammoth Lakes, surrounded by alpine beauty and majesty. Powdered peaks of the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area and surrounding wilderness draw skiers, snowboarders, snowmobilers and ice skaters every winter. Summers are quieter and less crowded, but vacationers in search of the path less traveled will find secluded biking and hiking trails, rushing rivers, icy mountain lakes, green golf courses and breathtaking scenery.

Start and end your day in the heart of Mammoth. The Village's condos are atop all the fun. Stay here to be at the center of town, where there's easy free shuttle access to mountain activities and loads of dining and shopping options. Property features pool, hot tubs, and fitness center. Each unit has a kitchen with refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher. Units feature dining area, private bathrooms and seating area with fireplace. Our mountain resort is located above 8,000 feet and we historically experience mild summer temperatures. Because of our cool summers, our hotel and rooms are not equipped with air conditioning.
The Village Lodge is not really a hotel, but more an time-share/holiday homes complex that rents out apartments like hotel rooms; which is a great concept. Super well maintained, wrapped around shops and restaurants. We didn’t interact with much staff, but the ones we came across from housekeeping to maintainance were all super friendly, real relaxt and casual. Big compliments to Antonio at front desk who made us feel very welcome on check-in. Speedy check-in, some great tips on the area and a great room (upgrade) was literally all we could ask for. Thanks for making our three day stay special!

You'll also have access to two heated swimming pools, six outdoor heated hot tub spas and many more resort amenities. My name is Irene and I am a single mother of two. I travel to Mammoth Lakes at least twice a year for the start and finish of my son’s school year. Staying at Juniper Springs makes my responsibilities affordable, enjoyable, and easy. The local markets are right down the street which is important to me because I do all of our cooking here at the hotel using the fully-equipped kitchens provided. The pool and hot tubs make it easy to have fun and relax here at the resort if we don’t want to leave for the day. The staff was awesome about helping out with establishing help with the TVs in the room, getting extra towels and movies from their DVD library, and keeping our room clean. Nicole was especially helpful in assisting me with getting checked in quickly and easily and also with information needed for planning future visits. She definitely made it feel like you were being taken under her wing for the stay and as a single mom who is used to taking care of everyone else…THAT one detail right there is everything!!!

This hotel is a good location, nice staff but it's dirty!! The pictures online are not very accurate. The lobby smelled like vomit, the walls and floors were pretty dirty. The chain locks in the room were both broken and the fridge wasn't cold. Not worth the nightly price to me!

Surrounded by the spectacular Eastern Sierras, The Westin Monache Resort, Mammoth in Mammoth Lakes, California is a hotel that enjoys a prime location with stunning panoramic views of the mountains.
We arrived at the Westin late, tired and hungry. Riley, Jason and Louis met us at the front door like we were the most important guests ever to arrive. Louis checked us in and couldn't have been more helpful. He said the restaurant would be open for 20 more minutes.Riley and Jason unloaded our car, valeted it and took all our suitcase up stairs. We proceeded to meet JR the bartender and Jen the manager of the restaurant. The food was delivered quickly and we were told not to worry about the time. Felt like a member of their family. I highly recommend this hotel if you want great service.

Our newly renovated hotel has beautiful guest rooms, an indoor pool and hot tub and exercise room. From our standard rooms with a king or two queen beds to our suites, we have a variety of accommodations to satisfy any desire.
It was a little hard to find but once we did the check out process was very smooth. We were even able to cancel our second night without any trouble. The facility is clean and in a very nice location. The room was also a very nice size. Parking was also close.

We are Mammoth's first 100% non-smoking hotel. Perfectly located near the slopes (1.5 miles), in the middle of town, we offer affordable, clean rooms and great hospitality. Amenities include free WI-FI, free continental breakfast, cable TV, kitchenette, telephone, hairdryer, outdoor spa, and underground parking. We are located .75 miles from the new Village and the Village gondola and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Yosemite and Tioga Pass are 45 miles from our hotel in the summer.
Wanted to share that management are good people here - I requested to leave a day early (due to weather) and even though they didn’t have to , they refunded that prepaid day. I appreciated that. Clean, older property with that ‘broken-in’ feel of so many ski town motels. Handy kitchenette. Keep your expectations in check, and will do the job just fine!

Mammoth is California's premiere mountain resort in the Eastern Sierra region where the possibilities for outdoor activities are endless. ***UNSAFE*** do not stay here. I normally do not write these reviews, but I feel compelled in this case. I checked in on June 3 2022, and went up to my room. I had called for dinner to be delivered, he came knocked, and left food. I ate then was relaxing. I began to hear someone messing with my door handle. I proceeded to go to the peep hole and looked out. There were three men, one of which had a screwdriver and were trying to get into my room. I yelled hey wrong room buddy! And they proceeded to run out of there. I immediately called the front desk to send security. They told me the following: “well he can’t get in without a key, so I wouldn’t worry about it. If he comes again call us.” ???? Are you kidding me? I grabbed my things and checked out after a little over one hour after checking in. I told the desk clerk I was checking out as I did not feel safe. I called to try an secure a refund and the property refused. Absolutely terrible. Do not book here.
