Stayed for 2 nights with girlfriend over the 2021/2022 New Year. The hotel and the room was clean, bed was comfortable, view out into the bay was gorgeous and restaurant was great. The best part was meeting Wilson Castaneda who worked at the front desk, he's warm, helpful, and very proactive in ensuring a fantastic guest stay. I observed him working late into New Years eve and morning shift on New Year's day. Wilson spoke very good English, one of the best amongst the staff, which bridged the gap between my French and elementary Spanish for great communication. I previously opened a hotel in Manhattan, understand hotel operations, and found Wilson to be one of the best staff I've encountered during my work and travels, thus I want to recognize his good work.

Nestled in the misty Patagonia, Weskar Lodge is a cozy hotel with 30 rooms, offering quality and charming services, that will make your trip an unforgettable experience after your excursions to Torres del Paine and the Glaciers. Located along the coast in the city of Puerto Natales, at an altitude of 70 feets above sea level, sorrounded by green areas, Weskar Lodge is a unique and small hotel with impressive views of the fjord and the Patagonian Andes Mountains.
Booked a somewhat trip to Patagonia and was happy to find the Weskar. Unfortunately, the pandemic started and everything was up in the air. I had booked several hotels throughout South America for the trip and ended up losing money on some reservations that wouldn't accommodate the uncertainty. The Weskar, however, worked with me and despite multiple rebookings, we were finally able to come enjoy our stay! The accommodations were lovely. We booked a superior room with fjord view for the first two nights. The bed was comfortable and all amenities were well appointed. The view was to die for (see pic). The bathroom is not in a separate room (toilet is), but everything is functional and quite comfortable. Wifi strong in lobby, but not available in rooms (kind of a blessing!). Breakfast had standard offerings of the area - some cold cuts, cheese, toast, pastries, coffee, but more than adequate. The kitchen would also make you eggs to order, including omelettes. We had dinner there once. My steak was huge. While it's not a destination restaurant, but for the convenience, it's well worth the reasonable price it. Yes, the hotel is outside of town - but that's the amazing thing that makes it much more serene! What made our experience amazing was the use of their bikes! It's such an easy ride into town along the water and a great way to get around. They were available most days, but when they ran out one morning, we walked into town. It's very doable and only take a few minutes. Not your thing? Then just take an inexpensive cab, which the front desk will call for you. All the staff was amazing and friendly. I really felt they wanted to ensure I was enjoying myself without being obtrusive. We were able to store our luggage while we trekked in TDP - which was a nice convenience. When we returned late, we were welcomed back warmly and our room was even bigger with a separate bathroom. I would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to friends. It's truly special.

La Yegua Loca is a dream born of the passion and love we feel for this wonderful land. We want to enchant those who visit us, showing them part of our identity in all the spaces of the hotel and also offering them a gastronomy that evokes flavors of yesteryear. Our grandparents were Croatian pioneers who immigrated from 1915 onwards and decided to arm their destiny in these distant lands. Our parents were born and raised in Patagonia, between the simplicity of country life and each of the characters that gave life to the ranches. With the Hotel, the Restaurant and the Pulpería La Yegua Loca, we show a small part of this invaluable cultural wealth bequeathed by colonizers of different nationalities who made these distant lands their new home. We remodeled a heritage house from 1929 and built more themed rooms in 2019, following the historical line of the place and highlighting the location at the foot of the main viewpoint and the most impressive in the city of Punta Arenas.
Literally an overnight stay - but friendly and efficient staff, great location and route suggested to stretch our legs. Really good food and lovely atmosphere - but then we moved on..There was a (local) child’s birthday party and the staff took time to explain what was happening. Important attention to these sorts of details made it special.

I stayed here for one night before heading further south. I also had lunch here with a friend. It is well located on a quiet street, while only a block or so from the center of town. Service is friendly and efficient. The kitchen does a nice job for lunch and breakfast. I would stay here again.

Located in front of the main square, Hotel Jose Nogueira is a boutique hotel in Punta Arenas, main entrance city to the world known Torres del Paine National Park and the closest city to the Chilean Antarctic Peninsula. Originally the building hosted the home of Mr. Jose Nogueira's wife, Sara Braun. He gathered a great fortune during the second half of the XIX century. In 1890, they ordered the construction of a splendid mansion in the middle of the center of the city, which, with the passing of time, transformed into one of the symbols of Punta Arenas. The building was declared National Monument is 1982 and 10 years later, it became a small and exclusive hotel. Hotel Jose Nogueira has 22 rooms (17 standard and 5 suites).
Historic building in a central location in Punta Arenas. We stayed there for one night after flying in from Santiago before continuing to Torres del Paine park. Room was very large and spacious with a huge shower, although the furniture wasn't the most comfortable. Took quite a long time to check in and out, but the service was friendly overall. Good wine selection at the bar as well.

A little bit far from the center if you don’t have a car. Very clean and nice living room for the guests. Good breakfast. The staff had Some difficult to not charge the IVA, but at the end it worked. Impossible to check in early than 15h. We tried even paying but was not possible.

I was here for a couple of nights on my way to Torres del Paine. It was wonderfully welcoming. Great, comfortable room. Solid breakfast. Good conversation with the host. The BB is also centrally located. I walked everywhere from the site. And it was not uncomfortable at all.

We stayed here both before and after hiking the W-trek in Patagonia, and the service both times was phenomenal. Alvaro and his family were fantastic hosts. The rooms are quiet, clean, and very cozy. Beautiful views from the top balcony. Alvaro works hard on his garden that brings positive energy to the place. They even made us delicious, hearty breakfasts every morning, perfect fuel for the day ahead. Alvaro gave us plenty of recommendations regarding restaurants to dine at, and they were very punctual with helping us call taxis when needed. If I'm ever back in Puerto Natales, this will be my go-to spot!
