Large room with huge shower but many steps , too dangerous for elderly . Wild chicken could be disturbing early in the morning like Three in the morning. Three stars service . Breakfast was delicious . In a walking distance to 7 Eleven convenient store , ATM (Thai Military Bank) and morning market with fresh fruits and vegetables from Farmers. Lovely City with Street Art and MaeSalong Trail , the schedule of the event could be found on Facebook .

This is my second time at Akha Mud House. My first time was about two years ago when the business was still small. At that time seems the owner was very friendly and nice guy and I always reccomend clients to go there if they have chance to go to Chiang Rai. This time I booked Akha Mud House for my guests and myself but this time I am really disppointed. Firstly, When we arrived at 18.00 pm. the room was not yet ready for my guests even I informed them about my arrival time. For my room, they provided me the room with shared bathroom and they said the room with private bathroom are fully booked!! I called the owner but he said to me to talk with his wife because he said is none of his business and hangup telephone. His wife was not friendly at all. I try to contact the owner many times but he ignore!! It's seems this place is growing and they not really care the customer at all. I will never recommend my guests about this place!!

The service staff were all very welcoming and hospitable but special mention goes to the lady boss who took the time to share about the area and give us recommendations on where to go ( we could converse in Mandarin). When we decided to leave the mountain a day earlier than planned, she offered a refund, which was not expected at all. Very sincere service and we were pleasantly surprised. However, the room we ere in was a different matter. The twin room we were in didn’t have a heater or aircon so we were essentially huddling under the sheets at night. The toilet had a sewage smell which was thankfully more or less contained when the door was closed. We took a peak and the rooms with. K8ng sized beds were way more spacious and comfortable (alas, we were too late to book that).

We've had a nice stay at this hotel. Very very friendly owners and clean room. Only remark is that our room was very close to the main road, which implied noise between 05h and 23h and some cars passing during the night. Very beautiful view. Breakfast was small but ok (Yunanese specialties, toast, jam, eggs, tea and coffee). Little expensive, but most of the hotels are. Tea tasting for free.

Passez votre chemin.

This is a slightly aged property, but still adequate. It is in a beautiful setting with some amazing views out over the mountains. The staff are really helpful, the food is good. The rooms could use a little updating, but it’s good value for money as it is.

Trop chère pour un service inexistant tout comme le petit déjeuner. La vue est imprenable sur les montagnes et c’est très propre. Un peu chelou quand même. Les gens là bas sont polis mais souvent absent.
