Affordable Grandeur
Reviewed By IanGHThis hotel is located in the North-West Corner of the intersection between Bahnhofstraße and Grabenstraße, on the edge of the Altstadt. It does have some Parking Places in its Courtyard behind. If this is full, the Cityparkhaus is just around the corner further along Grabenstraße. The Hotel is quite grand on the lower floors. The bedrooms are well equipped and maintained too, even the smaller single Rooms on the 3rd Floor. Breakfast is ordered in advance at Reception and brought to the Tables on 3-Tier Cake Stands, freshly prepared for the agreed time. There is free Wi-fi available throughout the Hotel and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is good value for money.

One Night Stopover
Reviewed By VeronicaJ4We stayed here for one night on an organised coach trip. Check in was reasonably quick considering the amount of people checking in. Initially there was a problem with our room allocation as we had requested a lower floor but this was soon rectified by the very friendly reception staff. Our room was very clean and quite spacious, bed was extremely comfortable. En-suite bathroom was clean although shower a little small but perfectly adequate. Our room did not have tea or coffee making facilities but I believe some other rooms did. I had forgotten to take in my phone charger and was kindly loaned one by Reception. Breakfast was quite hectic with 2 coach loads of people but plenty of food to go round. Food was buffet style and nicely presented.

A very nice basic hotel in an excellent location.
Reviewed By sheepygoldThis hotel is very nicely located for the old town next to the river. We paid extra to have a larger room with a river view although we didn't have a balcony. The room was practically furnished probably about 25 years ago so decor a bit dated but in good condition. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. It was very clean. Breakfast was nice but relatively basic. There is a restaurant which locals told us is very good but we didn't try it as it wasn't open on the night we wanted to visit. This is a very nice place to stay but its offering is basic so if it was in England it would be regarded more as a B&B rather than as a hotel.

Eine sehr gute Mischung aus Modernität und familiärer Athmosphäre, locker und freundlich, es gibt tatsächlich nichts zu meckern. Wir kommen wieder!

Reviewed By 880berndtgVery nice place with excellent location. It’s located near the train station and it’s only a few minutes walk to the scenic old town of limburg. Staff was very friendly and showed understanding for our bachelors party- (smoking in rooms is fairly expensive though) Breakfast was ok. Recommended ?

Reviewed By Greg SThe location was quiet and easily accessible from motorways. The staff we met were very friendly and helpful and provided good advice. The breakfast was good in quality and choice. The bedroom was large, the beds were comfortable and the room was in well appointed. Ample parking available on site. A 15 min boring walk into the centre of Limburg. A rather limited bar. No lift.

Reviewed By Pippin1994On our way through Germany to Holland and needed a halfway stop and Limburg was about right. This is a nice clean hotel in the centre of town, our room was excellent, bathroom ditto. This part of Limburg doesn’t have a great deal of charm but if you’re just looking for a room for the night this will do very well. It has a good restaurant plus there are plenty more within walking distance, I would recommend Fellini, an Italian eatery just down the road. Only down side was the manager sitting just outside the breakfast room smoking all through breakfast...

Reviewed By MattintravelStumbled on this gem enroute to eastern German for meetings, it was so good I stayed for an extra night, and then another one. The service was great, food was great, beer was cold, bed was comfy, wifi fast. It gets a bit of road noise so if you like something back off the road this might not be right for you but the service and quality of breakfast etc makes up for it in spades.

Stranded at night!
Reviewed By mtro25256We booked 2 nights at the Tafelspitz Pension in Limburg and I phoned the hotel to let them know that we would arrive after midnight on the arrival date. The girl I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and gave e a mobile number to ring when we would arrive so we could be let in. After a 6 hour drive from the UK to Limburg we finally arrived at our destination. We phoned the mobile number as advised ..... the phone was obviously switched off!!! After trying at least 20 times and also spoke to some guests that arrived late we could not get in touch with anyone at the hotel and were faced with either sleeping in our car or find another hotel. It is probably an understatement to say that we were really angry and extremely pissed off with such treatment of guests who had pre-booked and were expected.Are we living in the middle ages or the 21st century? Luckily we found a hotel just round the corner which was really nice. I cannot recommend this hotel as I think their customer service stinks and is certainly not very organised. I have not even had an apology from the hotel management although I e-mailed them that night to find out why we were not let in. SAD SAD story....!

Reviewed By Christian_999Das B4 liegt sehr günstig in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und der Altstadt. Die zimmer sind modern und großzügig. Unser Zimmer 307 hatte zudem Zugang zu einer Art Dachterasse, was im Somer sicher toll ist. Einzig die Zimmerbeleuchtung war uns ein wenig zu fancy, wer braucht schon farblich wechselndes Licht? Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen.
