Reviewed By Dcz1241Stayed at the Hotel Kongress for business, which the rooms are the major disappointment of the whole stay. I arrived when the weather was 26-32 Celsius outside and the rooms were 10 Celsius higher than outside with no air conditioning I never got more than 4 hrs of sleep each night due to the heat. I was waken up most morning by construction staff around the back of the property, I understand that this is out of the hotels control but most years there has always been the problem of noises outside because of needing the windows open. One morning I was awaken at 0530 from a roofer working with a butane flame next to the hotel! All my colleagues have the same problem of being woken up early and being left uncomfortable due to the high heat within their rooms. The beds are okay and not terrible, the shower in the bathroom requires second thought by the owner as the doors open out to the sink and toilet leaving around 30cm to actually get into the small shower cubicle. Staff are very helpful and great! They’re the only good thing about the place.

Selbst für Schlechtwetter-Tage wäre alles da: Billard, Tischtennis, Darts, Fitnessraum und Shopping-Möglichkeit in 10 min Entfernung zu Fuß.

The owner Martin couldn’t do enough for you and made us feel like we were valued. The room I had was spacious and clean and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I would highly recommend a visit here as you won’t be disappointed.

Reviewed By TomWaldwickNothing fancy but it is clean and basic. Breakfast was standard meat cheese and rolls. Free wifi which is appreciated. Old school rooms with a hard key to use. There isn’t any aircon but that would be expected in this local style hotel.

Extremely pleasant stay
Reviewed By Tamsin NA large well furnished and clean room upstairs. The breakfast was beautifully made, a lot of variety and fresh - definitely the highlight. We were able to use the sauna downstairs at our convenience. The owners were incredibly friendly. Despite the festival happening on the street of the hotel during our stay, parking was relatively easy.

Nice Place - Good Value for the Money
Reviewed By ybaramI just spent one night in this hotel on my way from Hungary to Schladming, so my review is limited to the short time that I spent there. I arrived late in the evening, but the owner was waiting for us, and everything went smooth. The room was spacious with free wifi and big LCD television. The breakfast was rich and they even make eggs of your choice. I was very satisfied with the place and if I will need a place to crash in the future, I will positively consider a return to this hotel

Pit Stop in the Mountains

If you are looking for a place while visiting Styria or to attend Formula 1 or MotoGP in the Red Bull Ring this is the perfect place, it's just 25 minutes by car from the circuit. Dusan, the owner, is super nice and funny. The room is big new and above all clean, there is also a nice fridge, which is very useful. The bathroom is big and clean too, especially the shower. Breakfast is continental. For dinner there is a nice place just outside the hotel.
