Reviewed By nagytibor83Well out of work I've had to spend several weeks in the Landhotel Laarmann in Germany NRW. I have to say the kindness of the staff and the owners is remarkable. The Land is beautiful and the hotel itself is quite the place for a family or a couple or even if you are alone you will be treated with kindness as if you were a part of the family. You can even bring your dog if you wish what is important for me at least. All in all. It is THE place where I would return at any time.

Reviewed By RajrukStayed here a couple of times. Courteous and very friendly staff. Nice restaurant and pub. However the restaurant menu is a tad ordinary compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast is average too with a limited spread. Weak wifi which is not accessible in some rooms. Rooms are decent with minimalist design. Be prepared to lift luggage up around a maze to reach your room. A lot of parking is available !!!

Reviewed By emmessduesseldorfFantastic equipment; The room functional and good (over-wide bed), although on to a very busy road, but even with the window open very quiet. The bathroom superb: stool, non-slip mat, handles in the shower, many hooks, counter space. A huge wellness area with all the comforts: pool, sauna, massage, fitness room, relaxation room, two normal showers, one for the disabled, washing facilities, hairdryers, etc. Unfortunately nowhere flowers / plants and no decoration on the food. And everything ruined by the disinterested, inattentive Servces: they did everything to avoid eye contact, we piled dirty dishes on the table, because it was not cleared. One of us even brought milk from the kitchen, as calling did not help, in the bar in the evening we sat 15 Minutes around and no one came. Pity.

wonderful place
Reviewed By katrin bThe rooms are very clean and spacious, the food was really great and even when the kitchen was already closed, they still wanted to make dinner for us on the day of arrival because we where late and hadn't had dinner yet. They are so helpful, and you can ask them anything. All the staff was very friendly. The hotel is in a very quiet environment and you have a beautiful scenery. The value for money is really good.

Reviewed By Gerald HThe Eintracht Mannerchor was singing in this region of Germany. We were here for 5 nights. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Great beds and the shower is wonderful. This hotel is not fancy but met all of our needs. Good German breakfasts. The owners pay attention to details and took good care of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Basic hotel with clean and cozy room, good for hiking and skiing trip
Reviewed By saurabh bEverything was as expected, it was a basic hotel with decent clean room. Breakfast was basic but I assume it’s not going to be different anywhere in near by area, you can reach to some famous skiing spot near by by far or using public transport

Remote authentic German landhotel
Reviewed By globetrotter4989We needed a cheap holiday so decided on a bargain stay at the godeke landhotel. Arrived in the little hamlet of burbecke where it's located, 2 km from the nearest town through windy, steep country lanes. Room was a quite large family room, nothing fancy but clean, not only old fashioned, but old and in need of a refurb. Nice views of the hills and quiet! Breakfast is pretty much the same daily, a buffet with bread rolls, meats, cheese and boiled eggs. All around seemed to be logging forest so not the most inspiring walks, but we found some good ones a little further afield. Dinner was a choice of 3 pretty basic courses every day, traditional German fare. Well prepared and tasty but nothing too exciting. All in all it fits the bill of a traditional landhotel, and for the moment one can't complain. Apart from about the total lack of WiFi access...

Reviewed By Dirk SEen overnachting geboekt tijdens een tripje naar het Sauerland. Het gasthaus ligt in Oedingen, een klein dorp in het Sauerland. Het gasthaus is op dinsdag en woensdag gesloten. Bij aankomst staat op de deur dat wij een telefoonnummer moeten bellen. En binnen een paar minuten komt de eigenaresse met onze kamersleutel en hebben wij het Gasthaus voor ons alleen. De kamer is ruim en netjes ingericht. WIFI op de kamer is snel en gratis. TV met satelietzenders en een mobiele airco op de kamer. Die is wel behoorlijk luidruchtig als ie aanstaat. Schone badkamer met douche en toilet. De kamer is ook schoon. Het ontbijt is prima, geen hoogvlieger, maar genoeg keuze voor twee gasten. Anja is aardig en behulpzaam, gastvrij! Een minpunt: wij hebben slecht geslapen. Niet door een slecht bed, maar door het verkeer dat steeds tot diep in de nacht langs het Gasthaus rijdt. Jammer, want hierdoor komen wij op 3 punten uit. Wij hadden kamer 3, misschien vragen naar een kamer aan de achterkant van het Gasthaus.
