Reviewed By UnksbergIt was absolutely,the worst hotel I have ever seen ! On the Internet it looked ok .. when we got there we were so shocked ..we couldn’t wait to leave . We left immediately, paid the full price for our rooms but I would not have stayed a night there !

Reviewed By mototraveler15Nice hotel in Lenggries. Good food at restaurant with a nice service. I had a delicious beef at dinner. Small gym located in front of the building, enough for a quick work out in the morning. I stayed one night for business.

Reviewed By E PMinutes from the ski lifts and free carpark we found this little gem. A three storey traditional house – guests top two floors. Parking outside, internet and above all very clean - so lets move to the room which was also very clean (of course). Ours had a great view of the skilift and mountain with an outside small sitting area if the weather permits (balcony). Inside a table and chairs – very practical and actually usable unlike so many places. Nice big bed and plenty of cupboard space. The shower room was just that and very nicely done and finished off (I am a detail nut on sealant etc). The breakfast room is huge and so was the breakfast, massive german breakfast with lots of breads, meats, cheeses, cereals and yoghurts if you could eat that much. Finally the hosts; well it is a long time since I felt compelled to write about the hosts and the owners in this case they were so nice- accommodating and offered advice if required and not intrusive. All of these things makes the place special, and 15 minutes slow walk takes you to the centre for bakeries or hot food. Less to a supermarket or fuel station. All in all a wonderful experience. We will be going back and this is a great base for a few days skiing or in the summer walking.

A fantastic hostel in an ideal Bavarian village.
Reviewed By Katherine KI just spent 5 days at the youth hostel in Lenggries with 67 10th graders. The hostel is super clean and newly renovated. The staff are amazingly friendly and accommodating. The food that we booked was excellent for a hostel, the spaetzel to die for! Breakfast was hearty with plenty for everyone. Vegetarian, lactose free and gluten free dishes were offered. The only drawback is that the building is very loud, that means that every closing door sounds like a slamming door over the whole building. So if you end up sharing this hostel with a school class, it could be nerve shattering. I know that our pupils who were opening and closing their doors kept me awake all night! So double check that there won't be large groups of kids there! The beds aren't super comfortable, but it is a hostel so we can't be too picky. The banks of the Isar are a 5 minute walk away and the town has many cute shops and dining possibilities, including at least one Biergarten. The houses in the village are full of Bavarian charm. A larger town, Bad Tölz is nearby if you need some town charm.

The room I stayed in had been recently renovated and was very nice - large, quiet, comfortable, very modern bathroom. The hotel has a nice outdoor dining and drinking area. The kitchen specializes in Bavarian and Vietnamese food - very good. I recommend this hotel and will happily return.

Traditional Bavarian Inn. My kind of hotel!
Reviewed By KeneffThere has ben an inn on this site for five hundred years. It is the antithesis of modern hotels with identical rooms. It is quirky and quite unique, but has been modernised internally to provide good, but not palatial en suite facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Oh, and the Wi-Fi was surprisingly good too!

Zunächst war es nicht klar, ob wir außer Kuchen etwas „Richtiges“ für den Magen bekommen. Vor Ort war es klar, dass es sowohl warme Speise, auch Suppen, Schnitzel usw., als auch eine große Auswahl von selbstgemachte super-leckern! Kuchen gibt. ++Absolut zu empfehlen sind Flammkuchen, mit reichlich frischem Gemüse zubereitet! Es duftet und schmeckt ? ++Gemütliches und warmes Ambiente mit echtem Holz. ++Freundliches Personal, obwohl es sehr viel los war, und die Kellnerin etwas in der Eile war. Wir freuen uns aufs Wiedersehen, sobald es wieder geht... Mit dem Schnee herum soll es märchenhaft wirken ⭐️
