Great Place to Stay
Reviewed By 30250TravellerI was here for 2 weeks in march, I booked one of the more expensive rooms which looked similar to the one on the photo. The room was recently refurbished and large, clean and comfortable. The There was a great view of the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel bar was good and served the best caipirinha I had during my time in brazil. Breakfast was included in the room price, and was a buffet with a large choice of hot, food, sweet and savory pastries, cheeses, hams and fruit. My only complaint was that the room was a little dark and poorly lit, which was made worse by the old decor with stained wooden beams and panels (but this is a minor point). I am looking forwards to returning soon!

Nice newly built hotel
Reviewed By Paulo_BarrosOuro Lavras is a very nice newly built hotel, close to the local federal university (UFLA). It's far from downtown if you don't have a car, but it's perfect if you have to go to UFLA everyday by foot. There's a bakery, a drugstore and a supermarket nearby. No good restaurants though! But you can always order by telephone. The staff is very friendly. There are free wireless internet access points with a good speed. The breakfast is OK. There's a convenience store and a ATM just in front of the hotel. I'll definitely come back for my next course at UFLA.

great value for money
Reviewed By cookiecookeI had a mini-apartment, with two rooms and two single beds in each. Bed a bit hard. But otherwise, the room was very spick and span - tiled rather than carpets, which I prefer, with small kitchen (microwave only for cooking). The breakfasts were great as well.

Nice place to spend a few days
Reviewed By OilyAmericanMy family spent a few days here and found this hotel to be clean, reasonably priced and the staff friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was good with a variety of fruits, breads and meats. They have a small underground parking garage which is nice, so you don't have to park along the street. The location is good also, as it is close to stores and restaurants without a lot of noisy traffic.

Cortinas com blackout. Duas camas de solteiro no quarto 302, arrumadas com esmero. Chão limpo, branco, em piso frio. Possui TV e ventilador. Tomadas em número suficiente. Roupas de cama e banho um pouco gastas, limpas . Banheiro também claro, com lixeira simples, plástica, extremamente limpa. Torneiras funcionando perfeitamente. Ambiente externo e de circulação também limpos, arejados, bem cuidados. Pessoal simples, agradável, educado e com boa vontade. Café da manhã com presunto, queijo, pão fresquinho, café, leite, manteiga, açúcar, adoçante, frutas, iogurte. Achei muito bom. Simples e agradável. Wi-Fi disponível, funcionando. Procedimentos de check-in e check-out sem complicações. Pretendo voltar muitas vezes.

Reviewed By André SO hostel tem a cara de seu proprietário, muito solícito, disposto a ajudar e te deixa muitíssimo à vontade. Pertíssimo da Ufla, é possível ir a pé. Ambiente muito organizado, redondezas tranquilas. Para quem busca preço baixo e conhece perfil de hostels.
