Aspect sits on the edge of the famed “Millionaires’ Row” in Hirafu’s Middle Village. The building offers superb views of Mt. Yotei from the 2nd floor up and to a lesser extent the Grand Hirafu ski hill. The property is fitted with the highest quality European and Japanese furnishings. A dedicated concierge service will ensure a level of service you'd expect from a property like Aspect.
The view is spectacular, the facilities are well thought through from all practical aspects, convenient and perfect location. The best part is the concierge team, namely Jay, Aiman, Nicola and Ish. They have been really helpful and taking care of all the details for us. They drive us to places when we want to and recommend places for us to go. This is definitely their highlight.

Akazora apartments are a stunning development in the heart of the village of Niseko; one of the world’s fastest growing ski resorts and Asia’s premier four season destination. A boutique development where Western convenience meets beautiful Japanese inspired design. This eye catching building is in a prime central village location. Only a stones throw from the ski slopes and less than a minute from the main road where a mouth-watering variety of delectable restaurants have become clear favourites among locals and tourists. A nearby resort ski shuttle stop can whisk you around the village and ski field, or a short 7 minute walk will bring you to the closest ski lift.
Stayed 2 nights in 2nd floor apartment Quite new so all the fixtures are modern Check-in was easy, apartment was super clean and even household necessities were provided like dishwasher powder, washing machine powder, and all the kitchen kit was new Apartment was much bigger than I expected also which was a bonus Lots of US channels also like fox and axn Great location to explore the niseko area in the summer Staff were friendly as expected I'd stay again when back in Niseko

Centrally located in Hirafu’s Upper Village, luxury boutique hotel Chalet Ivy accommodates travelers of the world with fine hospitality and a hearty home away from home experience. Whether you are touring the bounty of natural beauty that is summertime in Hokkaido or heading out for a long day on the world-famous Niseko powder snow, Chalet Ivy is here to welcome you home afterwards! Comfortable rooms with mountain views, delicately prepared Japanese cuisine with wine and Japanese sake, natural onsen hot springs, gym, and spa, and activity concierges are here to make your stay in Niseko truly luxurious.
I cannot say enough great things about the hotel and staff at Chalet Ivy. From the moment we walked in the door, they made us feel welcome and did everything they could during our stay to help out and make our experiences great. The hotel was clean and modern, and very centrally located. Since there are fewer restaurants open due to Covid, the staff was incredibly helpful in finding us wonderful places to eat (from fun local Japanese cuisine to an Italian restaurant) and in arranging for the hotel shuttle to get us there. They even helped us get in touch with a local artist whose gallery was located across the street, but wasn’t keeping regular hours due to the pandemic. Sho at the front desk spoke with the artist and arranged a convenient time where we could meet him and buy one of his beautiful rice paper lamps. The shuttle was always available to take us to the slopes and while we could easily have called for them to take us back, we found that by ending our skiing day at the Welcome Center, we could quickly and easily walk 250 meters downhill back to the hotel. The great onsen was a wonderful way to relax after a day on the slopes and the breakfast was incredible (plus by day 2, the waitress knew I wanted milk with my coffee and brought it for me). I would recommend Hirafu as the best of the four towns in the Grand Niseko ski area. Hirafu has, by far, the largest town/village area with a variety of restaurants and shops, plus we found it to be English-speaking friendly.

Love this hotel so much. Hotel is nested just 2-3min drive away from the main village but you get see so much openness and space. Feels like you are living in the middle of the wild. Hotel is brand new and room are spacious with great amenities. Onsen (indoor and outdoor) and breakfast were a delight. The Japanese staff speaks perfect English (unlike other Japanese Hotel I stayed in where there was many communication issues). Everything was well sanalized and very very clean. I will be definitely returning next trip and staying here instead of the main village. Nishi-San and Horita-san were very helpful during our stay. I stayed from 11-13 Dec 2020.

Looking for a place to stay in Kutchan-cho? Then look no further than Zaborin, a luxury ryokan that brings the best of Kutchan-cho to your doorstep. Rooms at Zaborin offer a refrigerator, a minibar, and air conditioning providing exceptional comfort and convenience, and guests can go online with free wifi. A 24 hour front desk and baggage storage are some of the conveniences offered at this ryokan. Breakfast will also help to make your stay even more special. If you are driving to Zaborin, free parking is available. When you’re feeling hungry, be sure to check out Somoza, which is an Italian restaurant that is popular with locals and out-of-towners alike. Best of all, Zaborin makes it easy to experience some great Kutchan-cho attractions like Kutchan Natural History Museum, which is a popular natural history museum. We’re sure you’ll enjoy your stay at Zaborin as you experience everything Kutchan-cho has to offer.
We stayed for three nights at the beginning of December. We flew in Sapporo and then it was a couple hour drive to the property. I think Zaborin is a great choice on the food alone, but the Ryokan itself is very peaceful with beautiful surrounding views in the winter. Breakfast and dinner are provided, we couldn’t have eaten much more than that. You wear robes and slippers on the property. One thing that was very special was doing a robata dinner on the third night. They have a separate room for it and they set you up but you get to grill for yourself. Breakfast and dinner are both traditional Japanese kaseki style. We loved it, but you should know what you’re coming for and if you don’t want fish and pickled vegetables with miso, etc for breakfast, this wouldn’t be the right place to stay. Staff was attentive and helpful. They were also accommodating of our 7 year old and newborn. We appreciated that, because it is a quiet setting and I’m sure they have concerns with first time children. I hope we have the opportunity to return.

Located in the main Hirafu village, LOFT Niseko comprises four 3BDR apartments spread over 4 levels with amazing views of Mt. Yotei. LOFT Niseko offer spacious, modern and contemporary apartments with a dedicated winter concierge service, which will be able to drive you to the chairlifts, restaurants, or anywhere else you would like to go in the village making your stay a pleasant one.
If you are looking for a great Niseko experience Loft Niseko is the perfect place to stay. We stayed in a two bedroom to bath condo with our two adult children. It was roomie and nicely appointed. Kitchen was well stocked including coffee and tea and they kindly had breakfast ingredients for us upon our arrival. The views were fantastic! You could sit by the fire in the living room enjoying the view of Mt. Yotie. The location is also excellent with walking distance to bars, restaurants and ski shops. Truly what sets Loft Niseko apart from the rest is the concierge service. Jayde, Jake & Daniel were amazing! From driving us to and from the Gondola, restaurant recommendations and reservations, helping us get our ski equipment rented and returned, even taking me to the drug store to find cold medicine. I didn't know when I booked Loft Niseko that the concierge service was so superb but it truly made our experience exceptional. I highly recommend Loft Niseko.

Country Resort Niseko boasts a collection of well appointed two, three, four and five bedroom chalets. Beautifully situated beside the Shiribetsu River on the outskirts of Hirafu Village, the resort serves as an ideal getaway for exciting snow sports during the winter and outdoor activities for summer.
What can I say about Country Resort? 1) Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. 2) Amazing location. 3) Impeccable fixtures and finishes at the homes. 4) Incredible value for money Stayed late August in a 3-bedroom chalet and I think this will be an annual trip! Country Resort is centrally located to Hirafu which means great dining and shopping (if needs be) but you're also close to numerous running trails, the river and Mt. Yotei. Not only that but in a little over an hour by car you can reach Shakotan peninsula which on a good day could give Hawaii a run for its money! Speaking of money this place is very good value, especially if you're travelling with a family. A quick word on customer service. When I checked out, I remembered I left some clothing behind, I emailed the staff at reception at the airport and by the time I landed back in Tokyo the items were already on their way via express post. Amazing. I strongly recommend Country Resort and I will absolutely be back.

Niseko Tabi-Tsumugi Backpackers is the small backpackers hostel opened in January 2011. It is a good base for solo traveller and small group who enjoy one's own style travelling.Located behind Kutchan train station. A grocery store, restaurant district, town park, hot spring(onsen) nearby. Not touristy area. It's more local, peaceful and a great view of Mt.Yotei.Free drop off every morning to Hanazono Ski Resort in winter and to Mt.Yotei in summer. From ¥3,000/per person per night
I stayed for 2 nights with the goal to climb Mt Yotei, the volcano which overarches the whole region with its beautiful conical shape (photo shows the view of it from the hostel) . Everything about the hostel was perfect - it was clean, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I got the free shuttle service at 6am(!) to the trailhead and in the evening the owner also took me to the local Onsen. The service was exceptional and way over the top than what you would expect from a backpacking hostel. Thank you!

Nestled in the middle of Grand Hirafu and Mt. Yotei (the Mt. Fuji of Hokkaido) mountains stands this quaint charming budget boutique hotel that provides both shared common rooms and private rooms to their guests. It is one of the most affordable and charming boutique budget hotel in Niseko that is conveniently located in Yamada intersection about 10 mins bus ride from JR Kutchan Station using Niseko express. The hotel also offers free pick-up from Hirafu Center or JR Kutchan station but you need to book a day in advance. The lobby is a bit spacious with the lounge and a lot of seating area greeting you. The cafe is just beside the lobby. Check-in and check-out are very fast and the staff speaks good English and provide you all the hotel rules. There is no elevator in the hotel so if you're in the 3F need to walk-up the stairs but the staff could also assist you. We booked a twin room that costs only 200 dollars overnight with a small single pane window with a view of the main road. The beds are single beds combined together but their comfortable and soft. The shower and toilet is just the right space but the water heating is very difficult to adjust specially the hot water by turning just a bit there is a huge difference. The toilet bowl's flush is also not accurately sprouting the right water in the right direction. But other than these the room is very clean and cozy for a cold winter's night. They provide slippers, mini fridge and space for your clothes/luggage and enough power outlets. The breakfast is so unique and cute - a combination of Western and Japanese dishes and their sumptuous. Salad is fresh, Rice is properly cooked and the dishes are absolutely flavourful. WiFi is a bit slow though. The best part if the location just in front of the hotel is a 7 eleven with lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Then behold the mountains behind the hotel on a clear day you will see the heavenly majestic amazingly wonderful Mt. Yotei, with its perfect pyramid cone shape they say it is the Mt. Fuji of Hokkaido. We are lucky to see it on our stay and we took hundreds of photos and videos and even walked into the back of the hotel walking along the creek and into the endless snow blanketed fields. If you look West from the hotel beholds Niseko Mt. Resort Grand Hirafu, a vast ski resort from the top of Mt. Annupuri. At the base lies the lovely Hirafu Village with many shops and restaurants along its path. There is a free shuttle bus from the hotel that goes to Hirafu Center and at the same your could also walk for about 15 mins from Hirafu Village back to the hotel. It is indeed a unique and memorable experience staying at this place and although we only stayed overnight it felt like days. One of the amazing dish we tried here is the famous Hokkaido Miso Butter Ramen, which is truly unique, refreshing and divine. Finally, if we ever go back to Niseko there is no doubt we will stay again here at My Ecolodge - a great place to be.
