Kununurra’s newest accommodation. Freshwater East Kimberley Apartments offers executive-style self-contained 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments as well as Studio rooms with a kitchenette. One & three bedroom apartments also have a unique outdoor shower as well as indoor bathroom. Apartments are spacious with modern fittings and fixtures. Great location opp. Celebrity Tree Park, 5 min from airport and 5 min drive to the CBD. Free Wi-Fi, resort-style pool and guest laundry all set amongst tropical gardens.
Freshwater apartments are fantastic option for your stay in Kununurra. They are reasonably new and neat and very clean. Our group of friends stayed in a three bedroom apartment which had plenty of room and good kitchen facilities. The large pool is a great way to recover from the heat of the day. The common areas such as the barbecue and the laundry were also clean and tidy and in good working order. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Kununurra offers friendly and personalised Kimberley style hospitality, this iconic Kununurra property has long been an integral part of Kununurra and today still remains an important meeting place for the community. Locally known as ‘The Pub’, the property was built when Kununurra was first established in the early 1960’s to service the Ord Irrigation Scheme.
We had free pick up from the Airport which was good then to our surprise on arrival not sure of the lady that served us but she gave us a free upgrade which was a larger room and a little further away from the Bar Area. As they have the Afl Grand Final on we went to watch it on the big screen ,no guessing it was packed and very when behaved crowed mostly tourists I think, we have a meal which was cheap and lot bad which followed by many drinks all cold and cheap. we could still hear some noise in our room when we retired to our room but that finished around 12 pm .the next morning we had Breakfast which was also included agind much better than I thought .Overall I would full recommend stay here.

Alternatively, guest may choose to eat by the pool Just 2 minutes from our town centre by car and 4 minutes from the airport - The Kimberley Grande sits across from the picturesque Celebrity Tree Park along with the sparking Lily Creek Lagoon. Onsite parking available for guests extends from just cars to those with camper trailers or motorhomes. Airport transfers are available. Tour desk on site.
The young multitasking staff were an inspiration but something seems to be lacking at a higher level. Firstly, the resort ( a description which is pushing the envelope), failed to collect a busload of guests from the airport. While understandably the rooms were not ready for us early arrivals, we were advised by a person who appeared to be in charge that an SMS wold be sent as soon as the rooms became available. No SMS was sent and although we saw that our allocated room was indeed ready, we were unable to access it until 2 pm. No lunch was available (we made allowances for the fact that Hospitality is suffering from a lack of staff) and no suggestions were made eg that we were in walking distance of town and a pleasant park and lake. Instead we were left to "kick our heels". The room was large and clean but there were indications of a lack in maintenance, with a large hole in the net curtain, a faulty light bulb and hot and cold indicators missing from the shower taps. Minor matters but in total indicating a less than satisfactory situation. The evening meal was good.

I gave the Ibis a very good rating because of the way their acting general manager looked after us and the Ibis even though the Ibis was sold at the end of August. Lisa could not have done more for the guests and the upkeep of the Resort. A great asset to Accor. As we are in pandemic times we do not travel interstate but am always looked after as a member of Accor. Sorry to see Accor will no longer be up North in Kununurra. Best wishes to all staff who also were very cheerful and obliging Vera Kendle

Kununurra Country Club Resort is the ideal sanctuary from which to explore the extraordinary East Kimberley region. The 4-Star Resort features modern rooms set in lush tropical gardens - a great retreat after a long day exploring. A range of onsite facilities includes swimming pool, bar and restaurant. Conference and meeting facilities are available.
Pool was great, restaurant ok, but room was a poor 3 star. To make matters worse the AC made a noise that made sleep difficult. Complained at the morning after the first of 3 nights but nothing done. I have never been in a 4 star hotel that did not provide wine glasses.!

We stayed a night in a Pool side Cabin on our way up to Darwin and again for 8 nights in a Lake View Villa on the way back from Darwin. The Pool side Cabin was adequate for our 1 night stay, with pool towels, comfortable bed & lux bath towels. The Lake View Villa was fantastic! This cabin was very spacious & the attention to detail was great with all the conveniences that you needed. Loved the BBQ on the deck. It was so relaxing cooking with a drink in hand on sunset. Very comfortable king bed & lux towels. The staff were very friendly, helpful & accommodating. On our 1st stay the coffee shop was open, however, on our return it was closed due to COVID. It was reopening the day after we left. It was good coffee!!

Read the reviews with high expectations and was still blown away by how amazing this was. Attention to detail was impeccable and the staff were absolutely amazing and attentive. The food was excellent and the coordination of various day trips was very well done. The only problem I have is it has ruined me for future holidays as the benchmark has been set so high and nothing else is likely to come close.
