Reviewed By David WThe schloss hotel is a Beutiful property with a small number just a short walk from the centre of Knittelfeld. Rooms are modern, clean, well equipped (although we had no tea bags or coffee for the machines in the room!) and the hotel is super peaceful, a gem. The landlady is very welcoming, homely, like my Mum, you feel at home. Breakfast is in am amazing library, truly a time warp….simple. It everything you need. About 10-15 mt drive from the Red Bull ring for Motorsport fans….only minor drawback is the need to find your own evening meal (but super easy, only a 10 mt walk into town)….and this is also not a town that is especially picturesque….

Reviewed By Eszter FA super place with a charming houselady. We stoped there for one night while doing the mur radweg, and we spent a perfect night night there. The appatemrnt was nice,decorated with a good taste. We also had a superb breakfast.

Super tolle Unterkunft
Reviewed By WaterfordlaneDas Sandhof war und ist eines der Highlights in Knittelfeld. Keine 10 Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt, bietet dieses Haus alles, was einen Aufenthalt angenehm macht. Tolle, weil freundliche und hilfreiche Inhaber, die es verstehen persönlichen Service zu bieten, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Sehr bequeme und gut gestylte Zimmer die allen Komfort bieten. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt ebenso keinen Wunsch offen. Abends (oder wann auch immer) kann man im Erdgeschoss einen Aufenthaltsraum nutzen in dem man Fernsehen, lesen oder einfach nur bequem sitzen kann. Selbst eine Thermosflasche wird angeboten, sollte man im Winter eine Tour in das herrliche Murtal unternehmen wollen. Sollte man also Wert auf persönlichen Service, Gemütlichkeit und Freundlichkeit legen, dann ist man hier bestens aufgehoben.

Отремонтированы в стиле модерн, все очень качественно, кухня, санузел на высшем уровне. Приветливый хозяин, готовый помочь во всем. Сам Книттельфельд - очаровательный городок в горах. Не пожалели, что заехали).

Adequate but uninteresting
Reviewed By PaulACTAustraliaStayed one night. Room was adequate but looked straight into a light well - no aspect. Bathroom large and reasonably equipped but limited amenities. Breakfast simple and adequate but not exciting. We did not eat in restaurant - it was Monday night and the Italian Restaurant was closed the general restaurant did not have a particularly pleasing atmosphere.

Eine Frechheit sondergleichen
Reviewed By WaterfordlaneIch hatte eines der Appartments bereits einmal gebucht und alles verlief bestens. Die Gastgeber waren freundlich, hilfreich und zuvorkommend. Das letzte Mal allerdings bin ich von dem Inhaber dann leider schwer enttäuscht worden! Ich hatte eines der Appartements (wohlgemerkt rechtzeitig) gebucht, befand mich bereits fast in Knittelfeld als ich einen Nachricht (via Whatsapp!!!) vom Inhaber des Appartments bekam, in welchem er mich gnädigerweise wissen ließ, dass das von mir reservierte Appartement, in der Zwischenzeit anderweitig belegt wurde!!!! Dies an einem Tag an dem das Wetter alles andere als angenehm war! In Knittelfeld angekommen, musste ich von Pontius zu Pilates laufen, um ein Zimmer zu bekommen. So sehr der erste Aufenthalt ein angenehmer war, war ich von dieser Art des Vermieters, wie man sich vorstellen kann, wenig angetan. Daher: Sich besser nicht auf diesen Anbieter verlassen!

Ok for one night
Reviewed By JanustStopped over for one night at Paul's Hotel in Knittelfeld. Old and average kept hotel. Room ok - breakfast good and not least reasonably priced. Less suitable for longer stay but quite acceptable for one night
