Reviewed By garymccarthyThe “continental breakfast” consisted of stale bread, rock hard biscuits, undercooked bacon and over cooked sausage. Our door keys had to be reset every night for some reason. Our door lock broke and the front desk handed us a screwdriver and told us to take the lock off of our door (wasn’t even the right type of screw driver). The pool was very dirty. The a/c barely worked.

Reviewed By G3770NSamywHotel was clean as always. Hotel staff is always helpful and greets you with a smile. Grab to go breakfast had a bunch of options to choose from. Pool was closed for renovations, but that didn’t bother me. Would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel to stay at. They have brand new mattresses as well!

Reviewed By jackkipHampton inn has always been such a reliable brand. It is one of our favorite go to chains when traveling. This Hampton sadly was lacking. After a long day of traveling we just wanted a nice comfortable place to stay. Unfortunately for us that was not in the cards. The young lady at the front desk (no name tag) was quite surly and seemed very unhappy with her job. I tried to just let it go and chalk it up to her having a bad day. Thought my interaction with her was done. But that wasn’t the case. After checking in we left to go and grab a quick bite to eat. Came back to the hotel. Lugged all of our luggage up to the room to discover that the key card wouldn’t work. So left my husband in the hallway while I went to get another one. When I told,the young lady that is wasn’t working. Her first response was to ask if I had placed it near a magnet or my drivers license. Which I responded no. Then she has the audacity to ask me if I had went the right room number. Not once did she apologize for the inconvenience. She seemed quite angry about that the fact that she had to actually stand up and do something. So much for being a valued customer. Once Inside the room, everything was in good working order. The room did seem a little tired. Some stains on the carpet and bed skirt. The towels which are one of my biggest pet peeve’s were quite thin and worn. Plus we had stayed in a double Queen room, there were only 2 bath towels total. So if you stay here and you have more than 2 people, you get to ask Miss grouchy pants at the front desk for extras…lol The ice machines were completely out of order. (Another interaction with front desk girl). She retrieved ice from the kitchen. The beds were probably the best part of The Whole stay. I slept great. Woke up very well rested. Breakfast was so so. I was really looking forward to a hot waffle. But sadly there was a sign that said “out of waffle mix”. Maybe I’m expecting too much. They did have eggs, potatoes and bacon. Also hot oatmeal (not the single serving packages). We found enough to eat, but still was wanting waffles. Would I stay here again, probably. If the customer service had been better it might of made up for the few inadequacies.

Reviewed By outofideas6Hotel was not good. Many construction workers hanging outside, cooking, and socializing. They were up early in the mornings and not quiet. TV in room next to mine blasted well into the early hours. Made a reservation for a "king suite" a month before arriving. Received only a king room (no price adjustment) and was told they had no "suites" available, and to talk to the manager the next day. (I arrived late evening). In the morning I went downstairs to get coffee and came back to my room to find my key didn't work. Back down to desk, rang bell. No response. Repeated and waited several times. Walked around the desk to peer into office...no one there. Yelled out "Hello!!" repeatedly while again ringing the bell. My ride arrived, but I needed to get back in my room so they had to wait, making us all late for our appointment. Finally, after 25 MINUTES, manager appeared, gave me new key. Advised no suites available. When I returned in the afternoon, I advised I would be checking out 2 days early as I was totally unhappy. Very unprofessional and hotel quality and condition was nowhere near what their website reviews indicate.

Bed and pillows are very comfortable. The room is so large they really could put another chair in there as it is now you have one chair and the other person has to sit on bed.

Reviewed By jetslyThis hotel is well removed not only from the interstate but also from the highway that leads to it. You will not, therefore, have your sleep interrupted by passing trucks. We spent a very quiet night here, and as usual, the IHG mattresses and pillows in our room were very much to our liking. Our room, like the public areas, was spotless, and pretty well equipped. We had a safe that actually worked, a microwave and refrigerator. The latter did not have a freezer element, which is important to us since we use dry ice to protect perishables on the road. Breakfast was the usual HIE fare, but the big winner here for us was the heated indoor pool and hot tub, which we really appreciated after a long day on the road. Recommended.

Reviewed By WeGoTravelsHaven't stayed in this type of hotel for quite some time. While it is basic, and breakfast is not included at this time, friendly and helpful staff and VERY CLEAN!! Combination that is hard to beat! Very quiet and a great night sleep!
