Jutland's south offers a slew of seafaring towns. Don't miss charming Ribe, home to flotillas of nesting storks. Fjords, dunes and islands await on its fringes, while moors and marshes stretch across its interior. The south is an idyllic spot for cycling. Rolling hills, heath and heather feature in central Jutland. Endless white sand beaches line the coasts. To the north, the windy North Sea coast is home to beech forests, lovely beaches and beautiful light and is loved by surfers and artists.

Two nights in db room, small for two people but doable. No storage space, only a few hooks for clothes. Room facing a busy and noisy street so window could not stay open during night. As aircon was almost not working the choice was between noise or heat = bad sleeps although the bed itself was comfortable. Toilet had flush issues which were not dealt with despite reporting to front desk. Breakfast nothing special, served in the cafeteria type restaurant. Parking can be an issue as hotel’s own parking has limited capacity and the adjacent public parking is quite popular (but cheap if you can find space). Pros: Friendly staff, fast wifi and 10 min walk to city center.

A great campsite. Here, a lot of thought has gone into offering especially young families a pleasant and easy stay while camping. You can cook inside and there is a common area where you can eat during bad weather. But especially the spacious family bathrooms are a godsend, 2 showers, baby bath, sink and a toilet in one bathroom. Very clean at the park.

Had great stay for a couple days at Legoland Castle Hotel with my 2 kids so many things to do for them inside and outside. Quite a few things for kids to do inside and outside. Legoland and aquapark just across the road, nice walking distance.

Nice little exclusive and intimate hotel in Skagens old ship smithy, part of the town's authentic harbour environment. Next to the Swedish Seamens church.
This was our first visit and stay in Skagen, so maybe a bit rushed to make 'Skagen Harbour Hotel' our preferred hotel for future visits, but we felt very welcome and loved the room given to us, which made the stay extra comfortable. Equally the breakfast was just perfect for us as a family to enjoy and start the day! Finally, the location of the hotel is ideal, allowing you to walk to most places such as the restaurants, the shopping street, the harbour, the beach, etc. We will definitely be back and look for the same room to book!

This is the first hotel in my rich experience, which does not have cupboard in the room. Don't the owners know that people tend to have some clothes, which are taken out of bags during the stay? The beds are outright dangerous. The bed lights are huge, stick far away from the wall, and have razor-sharp edges and corners. I got a bleeding injury on the back of my head when accidentally lifted it up during night. And all this for a pretty steep price. Conclusion: never again

In a world of constant attention-grabbing – loud noises, hectic movement, hubbub and hullabaloo – you’ve got us. Check in at The Lodge and out of the world. The Lodge is a place to retreat, calm down and ground yourself. Connect with yourself (and the Chromecast). We love the simple life without it getting primitive or – God forbid – boring. We focus on contemplation and being present in the now. Slow down, take a deep breath. We dare say that we are a modern refuge (without being TOO spacy, we promise). We are real and authentic people– and kinda nice too. At The Lodge, we take in the beautiful nature surrounding us. We love the smell of wood, homegrown herbs, and a fire burning in the fireplace. We are a rustic Scandinavian lodge in a world of loud colours, sounds and buildings. You’ve got us – welcome!
A really good place to stay, very clean, friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfast and nice pool to start the day fresh. Rooms are large and the access to courtyard very handy. Legoland 5 minutes away and around 15 minutes to Lego House.

All staff were amazing, bedroom was clean and comfortable and breakfast was lovely. Great location for getting to and from the station for buses to and from airport. Dinner in the restaurant was pleasant with a lovely chilled atmosphere. Felt safe while travelling alone and well looked after.

Trinity Hotel & Conference Center lies beautifully in the middle of Denmark only 1 hour away from the German border, 2 hours drive to Copenhagen and 45 min. away from Legoland and Billund Airport. Trinity is almost situated right under the Old Lillebaelt-Bridge and it is with great pleasure, we can offer our guests the opportunity to walk on top of the Bridge Walking in May 2015. Together with the mashing water activities on or in the Lillebaelt and the mild nature, Trinity is a delight that will ease your stay in Denmark - you will be close to everything.
The hotel is very nice , clean , room very comfortable, but unfortunately the service at restaurant, specific one of the waiter look like he was not really enjoying working and he behaved very uncomfortable, unprofessional and impolite. Everything should be really fast for him . Totally automatically service . We felt not welcomed. Sad to have a waiter behaving like that at a very good hotel this.

There are only few places where scenery, architecture and atmosphere come together to create a perfect experience. Hotel Koldingfjord is one of those rare places. Our charming buildings used to be a sanatorium. Placed in the forest, with a magnificent view over the water, it was a vitalising and inspiring place to gain strength. Today, Hotel Koldingfjord is not only a place to gain strength. It's also a place to gather strength. Hotel Koldingfjord has 132 rooms, international conference facilities with room for up to 300 persons, as well as room for parties and events for up to 375 guests. Hotel Koldingfjord further includes a wine cellar, cafe, bar, pool and sauna, a large sun terrace, outdoor serving on a terrace, marked trails along the fjord and in the forest, as well as a unique view over Kolding Fjord. Regardless, whether you want to pay us a visit via work for courses/meetings or as a private guest for a stay or a party - we promise you that we will do our upmost to give you an once-in-a-lifetime experience!
This hotel has a serious issue with its staff. The ‘wait to be seated’ desk was not staffed and after a couple of minutes waiting, we had to call someone. The restaurant appeared to be fully booked (why then empty tables?) and some hotel guests were not able to get a table including us. The nice sous chef however did his best to accommodate us and arranged a table for us at 20.30. Waiters seem unskilled and not very service minded. Returning to the kitchen empty handed while the tables were full. Chatting with each other while guests were waiting to order. The nice small hotel pub was not staffed and drinks had to be ordered in the restaurant. The pool is nice. The shower area needs an upgrade or at least a good cleaning to remove the mold between the tiles. Staff at front desk was friendly. However you would expect that during check out an evaluation question was asked. In that case I would have given my feedback in person. What a-shame that this hotel is so poorly managed. It has so much potential. Beautiful buildings, perfect location by the lake. Many areas have great design furniture.
