The Jackson’s hotel dates back to the colonial British Raj era in the nineteenth century. Owned and managed by the British during pre – independence days, the Jacksons is currently owned and managed by the Indo Canadian promoters – The Jasuja Group. The Hotel has been thoroughly renovated and modernized to aid ultra – modern amenities to give this heritage property its new image and Name – Narmada Jacksons The Hotel offers a wide choice of Banquet Halls and Conference Rooms for Meetings, Product Launches, Seminars, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Social Get-together, Exhibitions and Wedding Receptions having areas ranging from 800 sq ft to 15,000 sq ft.
Nice, old hotel with some very well furnished rooms and great service.
Reviewed By vijaytravelsStayed twice for one night each at Narmada Jacksons in February. The first night was in the base category Grand Room. It had all the amenities and furnishings but wasn't very spacious and showed signs of age and wear. Also it did not have any windows looking out of the property giving a claustrophobic feel. Besides the room was located right at the beginning of the corridor with other rooms occupied by a marriage party which resulted in so much noise and disturbance throughout the night that we did not sleep at all. Would advise not to book a room if the hotel is occupied by a marriage party. On complaint at check out, the GM upgraded our stay for the next night after a week to an Imperial Room. This room had new decor, was very spacious and very well furnished with an excellent bathroom. Highly recommended. The hotel also served us an early breakfast in the room for an early checkout.

Honesty is the best policy
Reviewed By meghna sThe reason to write this review is that I had left my gold chain at the hotel and had checked out. That evening i remembered and called up the hotel to check if they had found it. Mr Sagar, at the reception said he would let me know. After a couple of hours, my chain was found by him and kept safely till i returned to pick it up. Thank you Mr Sagar so much. Definitely honest and great.

After I entered the room I was taken aback that if this is the best room how will the other rooms be?? 1. The room was stinking. 2. The bed linens were probably not changed, or ironed post cleaning. 3. There were marks of sweat on the back rest of the bed, which was very agonising n unpleasant. 4. The hair dryer was not having a plug. Loose wires were inserted in the socket. 5. There was live wire dangling in the washroom. 6. Toilet was not cleaned. 7. The in room dining menu was in a very deplorable condition. 8. The funniest part was that I was unable to find the switch to turn on the TV set. Later the attendent showed me that the same was near the bed. 9. All the lights in the room were not serviceable. 10. The complimentary tea n coffee sachets in the room were not replenished. I really took time to sit on the bed as I didn't find it hygienic enough. I left the hotel without even having my breakfast the very morning at 0730hrs the next day, whereas I was supposed to be there for two more nights. I moved to another hotel for the remaining two nights. In this period of covid, I could not find a single sanitizer bottle for the guests and neither the receptionist and the service guys were wearing the mask covering their nose n mouth.

Breakfast is good and breakfast staff is also very good. Price is very reasonable. I enjoyed every time I started in this hotel.

Budget hotel for one night stays
Reviewed By PaddyPixStayed here for a night before my morning visit to Bandhavgarh. The hotel itself is inside a small lane off the main road in Russel Chowk. The room is pretty small and it didn't look like an Deluxe room. The good thing about it was the service and continuous hot water running 24 hours. There is a huge scope for improvement.
