We were inpressed by Innsbruck and Hotel Mondshein was perfectly located to take advantage of the City. Everything about the hotel was first class, nice airy room, comfy bed, friendly staff, splendid breakfast. and all round good value. The staff went beyond the call of duty in advising about travel and tourist options. Patrick , in particular, was especially helpful. i

I was booked into Goldener Adler when staying in Innsbruck for a work conference. I was immediately impressed with its antique beauty, but it was the service (desk, room cleaning, breakfast, etc.) that ended up impressing me most. Some hotels with this sort of history, looks and prime location would just coast on that. But someone in this hotel is doing something right, because the staff were universally friendly, helpful. No up charges for particular services (e.g. printing, some food to go instead of breakfast when I needed to leave early), extra care in providing for my needs because I had trouble walking, and just friendly. This place is a find!

We highly recommend Hotel Innsbruck as this is true gem of a hotel with extraordinarily warm and hospitable staff. The facilities are also amazing. There’s warm pool @ -1 level which is open 24 hours. There’s Panorama wellness spa @ 6th floor which has sauna, steam, cold showers as well as complimentary drinks. I found all the staff extremely warm and cheerful and always ready to help you. However, I would like to make special mention of Chiara @ front desk who was very helpful with checkin and gave us the room full 2 hours before time and also guided us for city sightseeing. In the restaurant, we found Jadranka and Livia extremely efficient and attentive and took good care of us at breakfast as well as dinner. The hotel room rates as well as restaurant prices are quite reasonable. Restaurant food is of very high quality and not less than of a Michelin star restaurant. Hotel Innsbruck is great value for money.

The integrated à la carte restaurant serves from Monday till Saturday a regional and international kitchen. Summertime with garden bar. • Recreation centre on the 5th floor with panoramic view. Enjoy in our spa area sauna, sanarium, infrared cabine and relax lies. We will give you a hearty welcome - Family Perger & Team.
I have stayed in the hotel for 1 week (business trip) and the hotel (and its staff) provide good service. They make you feel (a bit) home. The staff is not wearing a formal uniform, which contributes to the 'home"-feeling. The food in the restaurant is good & tasteful. Various Austrian / regional dishes are listed. I would recommend to hotel both for tourism & business travel.

No idea who the GM for this hotel is but your staff on reception on the 25th of March should not be front office. Never in 20 years of travel been spoken too in such an aggressive and inappropriate manner. Arrived with family 2 adults one child to be told I had to accept a booking of 2 rooms as we were 3 people .. one is below 4 years old. Booked on the Accor app which was / is hopeless so maybe it’s that either way the receptionist showed zero interest in doing her job / supporting a customer. Would highly recommend you go the Marriott 5 mins down the road. Better hotel / staff and rooms ., oh and no one shouting at you who should be helping you.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Innsbruck. Location is perfect surrounded by the best that Innsbruck can offer. I would suggest to get the panoramic room if possible so you can enjoy the view of the beautiful Austrian mountains. We've been to many 4 stars hotels but this is the first time that we saw rooms missing the basic accessories like free tea/coffee, moisturiser. Breakfast is worth the price, quality food, well presented, good vibes.

A modern glass building with panoramic views, The PENZ Hotel openend its doors in 2002 as Innsbruck's first ever design hotel. In terms of furnishings, The Penz Hotel, located in the heart of the city, resembles the outer building - a lot of glass, paired with earthy colors and wood makes a comfortable yet sophisticated look. That extra special something is to be discovered on the 5tth floor, where the bar and restaurant offer spectacular views of Innsbruck for breakfast in the mornings or by night at the American Bar
The Penz is in a great location close to the old town. The building is stylish with a breathtaking rooftop terrace, where breakfast is served in the morning and which functions as a cool bar in the evenings. Service in the Penz is impeccable. The breakfast is about the best we ever experienced. Standard rooms are functional, some have a view, but this is sufficient because there is no reason in Innsbruck to spend much time in your room.

We booked a "large" room for five nights and opted for #201 after being shown a variety of rooms. 201 was reasonably spacious and although it overlooks the street, we did not find it unduly noisy. We liked the massive effort that has clearly been put into bringing the old building up to modern standards, but there seems to have been a rather excessive attempt to make things "trendy" (the room decor - very dark - and some of the furnishings in the bar verge on the weird). Breakfast up on the sixth floor was good (we especially liked the make-your-own fresh orange juice) and the bacon and ham, cut from the bone for you, was tasty - but a bit odd that it couldn't be laid out for self-service but needed to be requested. The location is great, very convenient and yet within an easy walk of the main station and the Nordkettebahn, for instance. But it is a pedestrianised area for much of the day, so on arrival we had to lug our bags 100 yards down the road from where the taxi had to drop us - and on departure, the promise of a taxi that would pick us up at the front door never materialised and we ended up walking with our heavy bags to the station (no passing taxis on a Sunday morning in Innsbruck!). And there's no porter service in the hotel.
