Hill Top Hotel built in 1980, is the oldest and the most luxurious hotel situated in the heart of Karimabad, Hunza. It is the oldest among the new crop of country retreats offering laid-back luxury for jaded urbanities, international adventure and culture lover tourists. This is our very first time in Pakistan and we came straight to Hunza Valley. Be it hotel a staff or normal people. People in general here are way to humble and giving. Basically people here are the good reason that we will come back.

The Hunza Eagle's Nest Hotel is situated on the top of Hunza Valley at the best view point of Duikar Village. The Hotel is maximum 20 minutes drive away from Karimabad town. A 6 kilometers metal road leads from Karimabad town to the Hotel's parking. Hunza Eagle's Nest offers the World's only view point that offers spectacular views 11 peaks, all 6,000 - 7,788 Meters high. The most famous are Rakaposhi, Ultar Peak, Golden Peak, Diran Peak & Lady Finger. The hotel has 30 fully furnished rooms, 2 restaurants, a lobby, an open terrace built on a rock, a fruit garden & a traditional Hunza House. A unique feature of the hotel is that you can have the view of whole Hunza valley and surrounding peaks from any room or restaurants. Starting as a small camping site in 1994, Eagle’s Nest has grown into a full service hotel. The friendly family-run hotel offers accommodation to suit every budget. The personal hospitality and personal touch which you find every room service, food and garden is unique, and has made many guests wanting to prolong their stay.
Eagle's Nest is slightly resting on its laurels and needs a thorough upgrade if it's to retain its reputation. At the moment it's all about the location which is staggering and the breath-taking views of the mountains all around. Our room was fine but a bit tatty. The restaurant is good. Don't miss this part of Pakistan - it's astonishing - but let's hope Eagle's Nest perks itself up before further decline.

The Serena Altit Fort Residence comprises of heritage rooms and luxury tents situated in the Royal Garden of the historic 11th century Altit Fort in the Hunza Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan.
This amazing hotel is in a quiet area, a little distance from the hustle-bustle of Karimabad. This hotel is located at the end of a cobblestone-lined pedestrian street which has small shops on both sides selling local dry fruit, honey, handicrafts, provisions, etc. The hotel is actually within a well laid out, perfectly maintained private garden with fruit trees. The main hotel building is well designed and classy. The reception staff is highly professional and very courteous. On arrival, fresh apricot juice is served. Pedestrian pathways lead from the main hotel to a number of independent cabins/ rooms (with attached baths) which are located within walking distance. These cabins/independent rooms have all modern amenities. A small private sitting area at the back of each unit has stunning views of the valley and snow-covered peaks. The restaurant is in an independent building with a terrace and has amazing views. A rather simple but healthy breakfast is served each morning by very courteous and highly professional staff. The service provided by the hotel staff was superb. Staying here was indeed a wonderful, memorable experience. My special thanks to Ms. Naveen Baig (Reception) and Mr. Asghar Khan (Manager).

The resort itself is new but the view is breathtaking, Attaabad lake in its full view is in front of you. You get the best service u can imagine, the staff is very helpful and obliging. There is only one issue and that is the internet is very slow as there is only company that is allowed to operate in Hunza and that is Scom.

The Luxus luxury hotel is here to offer you a unique journey, creating with you memorable experiences of stay, relaxation and rejuvenation in Attabad, Hunza. Inspired by the endless blue colors of the sky and the lake, Luxus Hunza combines high-quality services that go beyond the standards for a truly luxurious hospitality experience.
My husband and I stayed two nights here as part of our honeymoon package. We booked the presidential suite. We were severely disappointed. To get to the room we had to walk down a narrow cobbled walkway (not great for health and safety). When we arrived at our room the whole outside of our room was under working construction. Not the noise you want on your honeymoon. The room was dirty with stains on the bedding, furniture and curtains. The room was very worn and tired. For what we paid I was disgusted with the dire state of the room. We asked for an iron and what we received was a black burnt out 1950’s style iron with a stained ironing board. We complained to reception and they replaced the iron with another burnt out iron!!! We did complain to head office in Lahore who were very apologetic but did nothing to rectify the problem. The food in their restaurant was extortionately priced. Breakfast we had made to order and that was nice. The receptionist was rude on our arrival. He just disregarded us. When you’re on your honeymoon and you pay that kind of money a certain level of hospitality is expected which we did not receive. The views from our room were exhilarating but it wasn’t enough to make our stay enjoyable. The tv was tiny with no cable. They make the room look good on their website but trust me it’s dirty. The toilet had stains splashed all over the outside of the toilet bowl. Not what you’d expect from an apparently five star hotel. In the end with all of our complaints they offered us a 50% discount off our next stay. Any other country in the world would have refunded our money back and offered a free stay next time. I really wanted to enjoy my stay here but was so severely let down. Instead of bringing their own rude staff from Lahore, Luxus should employ local people in higher positions and learn from the hospitality given by the local people.

A retreat which was built in an apricot orchard without cutting down a single fruit tree!! Away from the main Karakorum Highway, yet a stone's throw away from the biggest, bustling bazar in the valley. We brought local artisans out from their retirement to build a structure of local stone and wood which blends with its environment so that our guests could have the complete, Hunza experience to say the least. We couldn’t move the mighty Rakaposhi, so we built in a place where it can look upon us through day and night! We have decided not to put in any TVs or telephones. Legend has it that the gods of The Golden Peak might hurl a Himalayan pebble at you if they hear any jarring sounds. Our cafe will offer local cuisine along with the best coffee and clay oven pizza around a bonfire with local music filling the air in the background. Our experienced tour guides can show you around local attractions such as ancient forts, and channel walks.
Kaka was abducted by fairies as a small child and spent the rest of his life in a realm between now and the unknown, visiting far away lands. This is the story of the resident shaman of this beautiful, unique place in Aliabad, Hunza. At mountain story you are not only treated to wonderful tales but also excellent accommodation, great food and beautiful views of this absolutely unique landscape. This is an eco friendly resort which takes pride in not only it's uniqueness but also respecting the nature and the surroundings. The rooms are well equipped and spacious, the bathrooms are clean. Local as well as continental food is served using local organic produce. The staff is extremely courteous and makes sure your comfort in their priority. Day trips to the nearby glaciers as well as the khunjerab pass are possible.

I am here for a family vacation. The hotel rooms are good.. Service is good.. The staff has no uniform.. Can't make out who is working here or who is a guest. All facilities are there except assistance for handicap people. Which is a great draw back. There is no ramp at the entrance and inside the hotel..
