Room was good and beds were very good. Perfect is the fitness, wellness and swingingpool. Everything was clean. Also dining in the restaurant was great, good food for a very reasonable price, especially the trio formula. So thx Hotel Ostella for a nice staying!

They have a nice rooftop with a pool (unfortunately it wasn’t open yet / end of March) The hotel is not too far from the city center. The staff is friendly. Right next to the hotel there’s a wonderful bakery and a small shop with products from Corse. We arrived early and was asked if we wanted the room earlier. That would have costed 40 EUR extra..

While the rooms and service were quite nice, we were surprised to find a 24 € charge per day added for the petit dejeuner. Our first 6 nights in Sardinia and our 2 in Corsica were in hotels with breakfast included so upon checkin here we made an incorrect assumption. To avoid this be sure to clarify on check in.

Reviewed By peeter kIt is a bit confusing place for the beginner, as it locates in both sides of the road and has really a lot of rooms,. But as soon you find a reception, everything runs really well. Liked the location, liked the beach, liked breakfast. Dinner seemed abit overpriced, but same price range in every place nearby...so maybe I am just poor:)

On the resort, you can also take advantage of a 3 km fitness trail, the animal park (llamas, donkeys, pigs, chickens...), taste the aromatic herbs of the flavor garden (basil, rosemary, mint, marjoram...) Quality restaurant by the sea. Grocery store (organic products and Corsican specialities). Wi-Fi (included in accommodation, with a contribution in camping). Reviewed By stanandjan2016We had a bungalow right on the beach and the bit of beach in front felt like our own private beach as we could put the table and chairs and sun loungers provided in front of our property. Our only small gripe was that the menu showed a good range of choice, but each time our first couple of choices were "finished". Would have been better to have a menu for that day of items tjat were actually available. Would go again.

Reviewed By PMVVWe stayed 4 nights in this lovely property where everything is perfect. The owners are very welcoming and do their best to satisfy you. The rooms are simple but offer all the expected confort, from the great bedding, the space of 16sqm. You have a fridge in the room. It is centrally located and very calm. The buffet breakfast wasn't available because of the imposed safety coronavirus measures but it was still delicious with only home made products. You have a parking just in front of the hotel. You reach the beach and most restaurants in 5mins walk. I will definitely return. The only point which can easily be improved is the quality of the wifi.

I have stayed at a number of very good hotels over the years but none come close to Hotel Corsica for excellence with regards to service, friendliness, accommodation, facilities, food and just about everything I can think of. From the moment I first contacted Hotel Corsica to enquire about potentially staying there I was met with not only an efficient and quick response but also an extremely kind, personable, personal and helpful one. I knew from that very first email that we would be well looked after and that it stood out in comparison to other hotels I had contacted. It was extremely important for me to pick the right hotel as I was taking my mum who is in her 80s and, whilst extremely youthful, needed a relaxing and problem free holiday. I was assured by Inna (the absolutely fantastic and very lovely manager) that she and her team would personally make sure we had a lovely holiday and they most certainly went out of their way to make sure that we did. The hotel itself is stunning. Relatively small and intimate it is absolutely spotless and beautifully designed. It has an open, airy and elegant feel and we noted how all the staff consistently chip in, whatever their core role is, to keep it looking immaculate and support each other in maintaining the hotel they all seem to truly love working at. It is situated a few minutes drive from Calvi town but the hotel are extremely helpful and considerate of their guests and have a shuttle bus (with two absolutely delightful drivers) that will happily run you into the town or to the beach. We realised very quickly that this was a far better option than staying in the town as it was starting to get quite noisy and crowded in the town by the time we left and the hotels didn’t look anywhere near as nice as Hotel Corsica. Hotel Corsica is situated in the most beautiful spot with sea views from the hotel and incredible mountains all around the sunbathing area and pool. It was a beautiful tranquil setting completely befitting of a luxury spa hotel. The absolute crowning glory of Hotel Corsica is, however, it’s people. The staff were absolutely amazing. Each and every member of staff was absolutely delightful. As it is a relatively small hotel there is a correspondingly small team which means they all know each other and all get to know the guests personally too. It was clear that every single member of the team that we encountered had been briefed about my mum and my needs, they all went out of their way to accommodate and look after us. Each and everyone had absolutely lovely personalities and made us feel like we were more than just paying guests. They were personable and extremely friendly and actually contributed to a lot of the fun and laughs that we had on our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble for them and anything we asked for was actioned immediately. They were genuinely all really, really lovely people and this is a huge testament to both the excellent recruitment skills of both the manager Inna and owner Bruno and their fantastic rapport with their staff. We have never seen people work as hard or as long hours as Inna and Bruno did making sure that both their guests and their staff were truly happy. They deserve every bit of credit and success and we hope greatly to be able to go back and stay with Hotel Corsica again next year (if not sooner!)
