Offering a relaxing, tranquil location for whatever your means.
Brilliant wedding - venue, food, service, staff = absolutely superb. Evening before Tom looked after us magnificently. Morning after, the breakfast staff were lovely even under pressure of numbers as we all trooped in. Top class, many thanks.

At Premier Inn Hotel Grimsby you'll find plenty of maritime heritage nearby - but there's nothing fishy about this location. With the Europa Business Park on your doorstep not to mention well-known attractions like the Dock Tower and the Marina, you'll catch some great days out when you stay with us. Spend the morning exploring the coastline, strolling along Cleethorpes beach and Pier. Then come back to Grimsby for some lunch and a bit of retail therapy. For the afternoon, why not visit Pleasure Island and the Fishing Heritage centre and then set sail for the hotel, with a lovely meal at our Brewers Fayre and a relaxing comfy bed.
Lovey reception staff, room was clean and comfortable. No obvious access to lift for disabled customers. Lift was not pointed out at reception (i do not use a wheelchair) I am registered disabled and find stairs difficult to use.

This Wetherspoon hotel was purpose-built in the mid 19th century to serve Grimsby's first railway. The hotel took its name from the earl of Yarborough, who was a director of the railway company and lived at nearby Brocklesby. The Yarborough was later owned by another railway company and, eventually, by the LNER. After the Second World War, the British Transport Commission owned it. In 1951, it was bought by a brewery from Hull. In 1960, it was nearly demolished. The hotel, which is a symbol of the town's transition from an 18th-century fishing village into a great Victorian port, is now a listed building. It closed down as a hotel post war but remained a pub and in 1997 it opened as a wWtherspoon pub and restaurant. Most recently in November 2016 Wetherspoon decided to open the hotel again and it has had a major refurbishment into a 36 bedroom hotel. Some of the old features remain including the amazing ballroom which now houses the ladies toilets for the restaurant and bar. Grimsby is known for its lively community, and the town accommodates many bars and night clubs. As The Yarborough Hotel is situated in the town centre, it is occasionally possible to hear music in the hotel from these venues (particularly on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights). If you prefer a quieter room, please book with the hotel directly, over the telephone, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Great stay for us! Paid for early check in as we were attending the football. We were welcomed well, had a small problem with the TV which was rectified while we were out. Room was big and comfortable, really clean, nice bathroom and tea and coffee etc was a great touch. We were warned it may be noisy due to the club across the road but we weren't disturbed at all on the 3rd floor. All in all a great stay, will definitely stay again!

Used a voucher to have a 2 night stay here. All staff from reception to bar/restaurant were friendly and professional. All meals we had were excellent.First breakfast we had was served at the table,Saturday morning it was self service. Our 2nd evening we had the 3 course meal with glass of wine, considering the quality it was good value at £25 each. The bedroom was not big with only a view of the next wing, but you dont spend your time looking out of a window!.Will def. return.
