Offering an on-site restaurant, the hotel is situated in the seaside village of Grimaud, just a few kilometres away from Saint-Tropez, at the foot of the Maures Mountains. Hotel Soleil de Saint-Tropez is set in a 16,000 m2 park and features access to the beach which is just 300 m from the hotel. Guest rooms are comfortable and spacious. They are all equipped with modern en suite facilities and most of them offer a view of the swimming pool and park. A buffet breakfast is served every day. Take advantage of the hotel’s facilities such as an outdoor swimming pool and a free private car park.
Terrible experience! There is clearly a lack of management ! To be avoided. The hotel does not deserve 4 stars and is dirty. Seems to be managed by the owner of a pizzeria rather than the director of a 4 star hotel. I will tried to contact Sowell directly.

Situated on Port-Grimaud's market square, right in the city lake center, Hotel Le Suffren 4* is only a few steps from the beach, within walking distance of many restaurants. The Provencal Venice-style rooms feature modern amenities including flat-screen TV, Nespresso machine, minibar and safety box. Some of the rooms at Hotel Le Suffren overlook the canal and others the marina or the market square. A traditional market takes place every Thursday & Sunday. Port-Grimaud beach is at 200m from the Hotel. Saint-Tropez and Pampelonne Beach can be found a 15-minute drive away along the coast. Guests can also go hiking and wine tours in the surrounding area.

Stayed here as a family of 4 with 2 children (2 & 8). A family run property with beautiful grounds, very nice perfectly clean rooms, friendly and personal service (you feel as though you are staying at a friend's place), beautiful clean pool, perfect driving distance to Saint Tropez, restaurants, beaches etc. Breakfast is very nice, lunch menu limited, and no dinner on-site, but we went out every night anyway! Would love to visit again and would highly recommend to anyone!

The Residence Les Bastides Grimaud is located 10 minutes walk from the old village center. One of the oldest villages of the Massif des Maures, Grimaud is near Saint-Tropez, Port Grimaud and the sandy beaches of the Gulf (about 7km). In a peaceful setting, the residence Les Bastides de Grimaud has 8 bastides with 46 apartments.
Nice apartment, specious and complete. Nice staff and good parking. Very nice environment and we were suprised that it was so quiet. Also it was nice that the responsible lady of the residence was speaking our language and was very helpfull to us like the rest of the staff. We will recommend this residence.

Real unique Provencal Mas in the Gulf of Saint Tropez, quite stone nested in the Countryside Grimaudoise, a green setting. One and a half hectare park, the quiet absolute, only birdsongs can distract you from your nap, lengthened in meadows of a turquoise blue swimming pool to quench you with some drinks served in this place. Come to taste and to share in our piece of heaven....
Stayed for 5 nights in August, rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels if you require them. The pool is lovely and during our stay we was the only ones using it. The location isn't great to get to the centre of the town but we used the motorbike or Uber which cost €10 each way. The gardens are nice surrounded by trees and we have had the chance to see all types of wildlife from the balcony. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant or for breakfast, but I have seen many of the other guests returning daily so that can't be too bad. The WiFi is a little weak but is supplied for free. Air conditioning is also included which is a mandatory for me ? Thank you for the pleasant stay

Stuck in the 80’s the hotel offers a poor, rude and unreliable customer service experience. In need of a major restoration and would benefit major modernisation. Will not return unfortunately. Would barely give it 1 star. On arriving at the hotel after a long flight delay we checked into the “hotel” it was late at night and we were given our room key and a map to find the room. As the guy did not speak English (which is fine) we attempted to find our room with no luck so we returned to reception and managed to get the guy to show us to the room/apartment. He couldn’t even find it himself. So after walking round for the best part of 30mins we finally found the room ourself which was as far away from reception as physically possible. We went in only to find a mattress and a bed frame. There was no duvet, pillows, bed linen, towels, toiletries. Basically the room was an empty shell. We had to return to reception and use google translate to communicate. After another 30mins we were given the items required to build the room. By this time it was 3 o’clock in the morning and tempers were breaking. Other member in our group had the exact same issue during the stay. Several days went by and our room had not been cleaned or made up. When approaching reception to ask why this had not been done we were rudely told “you didn’t pay to have this service”. Which was incorrect. This got resolved by calling the travel agent who then had to speak to the hotel. Not impressed again as reception offered no help or resolution until the agent contacted them. They had cycles to hire at the hotel. Upon hiring the cycles there were 20 or so bikes to choose from most of which were dangerous to life or unridable due to poor maintenance or miss use. The golf course area was run down into disrepair and the over all look was bad. Plenty more resorts nearby that looked far superior. Plus side breakfast was reasonable that’s about it. For a supposedly 4 star resort I would not recommend this place to anyone considering the price and facilities. Spend your money else where.

In Grimaud, in a privileged setting in the heart of the Var, Hotel Athénopolis will be pleased to welcome you for a night, a weekend, a stay in the gulf of Saint-Tropez. Enjoy the Côte d'Azur for a holiday in the sun, a sea destination, in the heart of the Massif des Maures; The 3-star Hotel Athénopolis invites you in Grimaud in the Gulf of Saint Tropez, 3 km from the medieval village of Grimaud and 7 km from Port Grimaud. A Wi-Fi service, with computer equipment available, is offered free of charge. Our friends domestic animals are admitted free of charge.
I've been traveling to the area for a number of years and pass this hotel on every trip. Decided to stay here and did not regret it! It's a quirky hotel with lots of charm. Gorgeous pool and grounds. 11 rooms, so no overcrowding. Rooms are over two floors We had breakfast in the grounds by the pool every morning - a sheer delight. You can also have breakfast on your terrace - there is no formal dining area, as the restaurant does not open until later. Generous breakfasts. Not your British fry up affair, but that's not what I need in 28 degree heat, so abundance of bread, cheese, croissants, yogurt, fruit, coffee and juice were just right to start each day. The couple who run this place are great, very friendly, accommodating, and know the area very well. There was also a lot of information available at the reception. Cars are parked under shelter, which is needed in summer. The restaurant, The Heracles, is used by hotel guests, but is also a destination restaurant in its own right, so you might be dining with other locals or holidaymakers. Lovely atmosphere, with tasteful live music on some nights. Hotel Athenopolis felt like an exclusive, beautiful oasis of calm.

Situated in the French Riviera, a few kilometers from Saint Tropez, surrounded by a green garden wide 2,800 square meters and 200 meters from the sea and from the beach! A historic home, completely renovated, five apartments on the sea with beautiful views of the gulf. Villa Angelina is the perfect destination for those who are looking for a luxury accomodation not far from the exclusive Saint Tropez. Villa Angelina is the perfect starting point to reach the destinations of the French Riviera famous all over the world and frequented by the international jet-set.
We're traveling from hyeres to cannes and we decided to stop and stay at villa angelina. Meet the owner himself, he was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean, simple, and has a nice view to the beach. The owner even lend us his car to go to st.tropez since we could not find any bus to go there. We stayed for 2 nights and when it's time for us to go to cannes, the owner helped us in contacting the rental car to take us to cannes. Overall, it was nice place to stay, and the warm welcome of the owner made the place even nicer.
