Needs Updating But Sill Solid
Reviewed By Travel782985Hampton Greenville is a solid, clean and convenient property that is ideal for those looking for a quick night's stay close to the highway. We arrived late after a bit of a "go-around" with Hilton customer service and the night staff couldn't have been more helpful. Got us into our room quickly and efficiently. The room was a bit dated but clean. I think the hotel is undergoing a renovation so rooms should be updated soon. Overall, a good experience.

The rooms are spacious so we can visit with one another. Comfortable beds, cold A/C, convenient location, excellent value. We will stay here again.

Excessive pet fee - mediocre facility
Reviewed By dryan1001a $40 unannounced pet fee in a $65 room says it all. The room was clean, and the desk people were friendly until, at checkout, I objected to the $39.95 pet fee that had not been mentioned at check in. I would not have checked in. I complained and said I will dispute the charge with AMEX.

Six months later, still regret staying there...
Reviewed By 38N-110W-SojournerEver have a bad hotel stay? Sure you have. But, give it six months and maybe that unpleasant experience makes for a good story. This my friends is not my experience. Find another place to stay if you visiting L3H on business. I work for the AIr Force and had a government business trip (TDY) to L3H in November. I return home and find they charged me for 2 rooms. I call them in January, explain the error and they fix it. Except they don't... because in March they re-charge me for the second room. I call the general manager, again, and this time she insists I used both rooms. She won't budge. She wasn't very pleasant. I have to resolve it by calling IHC Customer Support. So here I am, six months later, completely regretting my stay. Next time my team will stay in Rockwall. It might add 30 minutes to the commute, but I'll never have to experience this hassle again. If you must stay there, I can give it props for being clean and quiet. The front desk staff is a tad under-trained (the staff member sat in the foyer, on her phone, when we checked in). The room was probably okay. Overall, I'd stay there again -- except for the abysmal customer service.

2 senior citizens and a large dog
Reviewed By jdY1362AGDriving from Ohio to Texas with a senior citizen dog 150 pounds this was our second night out and every place was full up all the bottom floors. We called the Motel six we could see it from the roadway and he had one room left by the pool on the main floor and saved it for us. We were very grateful to get the room it was facing the pool which looked very clean and people were using it look like a lot of fun but we were exhausted. The room was super clean the bed was nice comfortable pillows were good to I have to say the shower was not really usable had cracks in the floor on the wall but everything else was immaculate. Plus right outside the door was a grassy area for Annabel.. we had no trouble sleeping.. A lot of motels have weight requirements for dogs at 150 pounds Annabelle didn’t make the cut. This motel 6 was perfect for us.

Hotel is on Interstate 30. Just 50 miles away from Dallas. We have 50+ clean and comfortable rooms (single Bed/Double Bed and Suites). All rooms and suites include en suite bathrooms with showers and tubs, plus free WiFi and TVs, as well as microwaves, mini fridges and coffee makers.

Bad Mistake
Reviewed By Karen AWhen I arrived to check in I was told that the computers were down and I could not check in. That was it. No alternatives. I finally said "why don't you take my name and number and call me when I can check in and I will find a place to wait"? When I could check in I was told "by the way we aren't serving breakfast right now". When I went to find my room I asked where the elevator was and the reply was "we don't have one, you'll have to take the stairs. So I had to carry my luggage up two flights of stairs. I was completely inconvenienced from the start and offered nothing in return. I was not thanked for being a Choice Privileges member. I did not get my bonus Starbucks card at check in. My room was disgusting. The carpet had not been vacuumed. Where the smoke detector should have been were wires hanging out of the wall. The shower head came to my chin so while I showered I had to crouch to get wet. While I was crouching under the shower I looked up and the ceiling was covered in black mold, which they had tried to paint over. I could see the hallway through the door crack and I'm sure anyone could see into my room. It was horrible and the worst part was that I used my earned points to pay for it. What a disappointment. The hotel chain should be ashamed and drop this one from their name. And I should get my points back for this awful experience.

Honeymoon
Reviewed By hillc84We didn’t have a honeymoon planned as we put this thing together in 5 short weeks! But we came across the honeymoon suite that included a jacuzzi and private patio. We were so pleased with the room, privacy, and the service that we decided to stay a second night! The price couldn’t have been better. I can see us staying in this very room in the future!
