Nestled in the picturesque Kiewa Valley with amazing panoramic mountain views. Set on 2 Acres off road, For a relaxing break come and stay at the Allamar Motel. A photographers delight.
We stayed one night and rented two rooms for four people. The beds were very comfortable and rooms well equipped. We were greeted next morning with fantastic views and lovely parrots and native birds. A very restful stay after a long hike up Mt Bogong. There is a bar on site but we came in late (after 7.30pm) and it was closed. I forgetfully left a jacket there and the owner was very helpful and posted it back to us pronto. Much appreciated. Definitely will visit again.

A cool and leafy park with great river access. Easy to travel with our dogs en route to NSW. Close to town but not too touristy. Bit of a problem with the room which was resolved in a friendly and kind way, very welcoming and responsive managers.

Relax and unwind on 3 acres of natural bushland and gardens. Kiewa Country Cottages comprises seven fully self contained cottages. There is a guest outdoor swimming pool, BBQ and a pristine alpine stream runs through the property. Perfect location to further explore the area.
This was our second time here. All I can say is it was a magnificent place to holiday. It was so peaceful, and quiet (apart from the magnificent birds that live in the tree tops.) It was topped off by a creek running through the back garden. Great amenities for the kids and just a couple of mins drive from Mount Beauty. Jenny and Andy were awesome hosts, very friendly, caring and helpful. We will be back!

A beautiful natural park that provides all the modern amenities you need for your family holiday. Porepunkah Bridge Holiday Park is within walking distance to the Punka Pub, and local wineries and eateries, and only six kilometres from Bright. The Rail Trail is right outside our front door making it a perfect place for bike riding. If it is bike riding, fishing, hiking, dirt bike/four wheel driving, or sampling the amazing local food and wine - Porepunkah Bridge Holiday Park has it all!
This was our first ever visit to beautiful Bright. We were shocked to soon discover that this park are just nothing more than rip off merchants. Everything apart from the very basics that are supplied in the cabins you have to pay for, from the $20 per night for any extra bed used, apart from the main bed, to the extra charges for a fresh towel, or if you use up your tea or coffee you can't just ask for some more, you have to buy extra from their stocks, and pay 8% surcharge when paying by card. One of our friends ( we were part of a group booking) was even charged the extra $20 p.n for a member of our group who couldn't get there until the Saturday, but still had to pay for him, excuse given was that he might "sneak in when the office is closed" !!???. And as an accommodation cleaner myself I quickly discovered all the places that the cleaning staff are NOT cleaning, from the dirty shower base ( needs some real cleaning/bleaching), to the dusty shelves and skirting boards. We will be coming back to Bright, but NOT to this place.

So if you're passing through our way on holidays, for work, or visiting loved ones, remember we're here to make your stay a rewarding one.
The management at this Motel are unorganised and uncaring. We made a booking for 1 night at this motel in January 2021 for our Easter break 2021. On the morning of our booking when we were already in Mt Beauty we received a call saying they had "double booked" us and that they had only just received our booking on booking.com that morning which is incorrect as my son had received numerous text messages from owners discussing our dog staying there as well. Obviously they ditched our booking for a longer stay with someone else and didn't give any care to the fact that we wouldn't be able to find another room that night - we were left homeless for the night and this ruined our break away. In the end we had to drive all the way to Albury Wodonga and got the last room there. I didn't even receive an apology or any compensation from the owners. They are claiming it was booking.com fault - it definitely wasn't!! They put money before anything else - absolutely disgusted - avoid this place at all cost!!!

Authentic delicious Indian food. As a Malaysian, I know a good curry when I taste one. The lamb rogan josh and yellow Dhal were 5 out of 5. The coconut rice with toasted shredded coconut and herbs mixed right through the rice is just absolutely delicious. The servings were generous and the price was reasonable. Will definitely be back!

These guys helped us in a flash, provided baby cot and high chair without hassel. The place is really clean, staff at the general are all so friendly. I love the beautiful cleaning and bathroom products throughout the place. Sharp knives and decent cooking equipment in the kitchen. Location is fantastic for families, 20meters from Big D and free alpine shittle at the doorstep. Just great I know where I'll be staying at Hotham from now on.

The brief version: everything was awesome! Longer: seamless late check-in, spacious and well-appointed apartment with a view, great facilities (laundry, drying rooms, amazing outdoor hot tubs - apparently there was even a bar onsite which we didn't get to try), great information on what restaurants and cafes were open, Leanne had answers to all our questions prior to the trip and during our stay, the perfect place to base yourself for exploring the high plains in summer. I wish we had stayed 3-4 nights and not just two!
