I've done a lot of traveling, and this was by far the most beautiful and spacious room with a gorgeous view of the marsh (especially at sunset). Would highly recommend staying here. My room was at the San Souci in Jekyll Island Club Resort.

Built of cobble and ballast stones in 1817, as a cotton warehouse, our converted, historic hotel overlooks the Savannah River, right on world famous River Street. Many rooms are decorated with period furnishings, four poster beds, oriental rugs, hardwood floors and exposed brick walls, maintaining its historic charm. Located just blocks from downtown Broughton Street shopping district & City Market, cars aren't needed, as all is within walking distance; Valet Parking is available. With four restaurants on property (guest are offered a discount) located within the building are many shops, guests don't have to venture far! Sight seeing trolleys pick up / drop off in front of our hotel and the Savannah River boat is docked across from our property.
My wife and I made an impromptu stop in Savannah on our way back from Florida. We stopped at the River Street Inn to book a room and watch the sunset. Nicole made our stop exponentially more memorable. She was personable, professional and kind. Her thoughtfulness made our experience 10x better. Thank you Nicole and River street inn for making our Savannah stay so magnificent.

The Marshall House, voted Best Hotel and Best Downtown Hotel in Savannah 2021, is one of the most unique hotels in Savannah. The hotel's 68 guest rooms offer an authentic historic Savannah experience including fun balcony rooms, authentic historic features, complimentary wine and more.
Aside from the slight inconvenience of the street under construction, this location was perfect. We could walk to all the historic district sites and restaurants and enjoyed the ability to go back to the hotel to freshen up and enjoy the wine social hour before dinner. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful!

Retreat to Mansion on Forsyth Park, a breathtaking hotel in Savannah, Georgia's historic district. Soaring above its namesake park in the heart of the historic district, our hotel offers boutique accommodations in a lovingly restored Victorian-Romanesque building.
Our trip started in Savannah Georgia and due to mishaps at the airport, we didn't check in until 2 a.m. No problem for the Staff at the Mansion! The smooth check in and valet were just the beginning of a wonderful stay. The art, the food, the staff, the location are all welcoming and top quality. Afterward we decided it was like being part of a private club - my husband is now "homesick for the Mansion".

The Inn at Sea Island is the perfect spot for your next golf trip or vacation on St. Simons Island. The Inn is just minutes away from the Sea Island Golf Club and The Lodge, The Cloister on Sea Island, and all of St. Simons Island's historic sites, beaches, and shopping.
Our group of seven used the Sea Island Inn as our base to explore the Golden Isles for five days. We all were in complete agreement that the location, pool, beds and more were excellent but what really made the difference from other Inns and hotels was the outstanding friendliness and service , in a word - HOSPITALITY of all employees at the Inn and other Sea Island properties. It was my sixth stay with groups here and think it starts at the top- Emily Rose, Maggie Ireland, Racheal Brent along with Tara and Meredith at the front desk and all others at the front desk, breakfast servers, bartender and housekeepers. Highly recommend!

Greeted by Cam who welcomed me after a really long car ride. In the pouring rain, grabbed my bags and valet parked my car. He showed me around. Wonderful front desk check in and turndown service by Dwayne.

We weren’t sure what to expect because it looks just okay from across the river in downtown Savannah but when it walked in the door it was as gorgeous as any Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons we had stayed at. The staff was incredible… especially Maurice (Mo) the Bellman and valet! He was a standout! We were celebrating our anniversary and we were upgraded to a gorgeous room overlooking the river with a balcony. We came in one evening to find gourmet chocolate, Wine, a handwritten letter, two delicious cheesecakes, AND two gifts! Does it get any better? The pool was incredible. Great music, relaxing with plenty of chairs, umbrellas and cabanas. We actually stayed in downtown Savannah for a few nights before we arrived here and here just felt totally different like we were at a beach resort to relax and unwind. There is a free ferry every 30 minutes to take you to River street with all the restaurants, shops, and bars you could want. They are improving the golf course and it will be ready soon. It looks absolutely gorgeous and we can’t wait to try it! We loved our stay here and we can’t wait to return!
