The Belhurst castle is a cool little spot. A winery, spa, bar, restaurant, and hotel castle. We stayed the night in the bamboo room nice little room close to the wine spigot!!. Wine on Tap ?. We had a free wine tasting with the stay. Ally who was our host at the wine shop was very pleasant knowledgeable about the wine and the cheese they served. Great service all around even though it was close to closing. The We had dinner at Edgar's restaurant which is just down stairs from our room... awesome food great service again. We walked around the property took some nice pictures at sunset and had a great stay. If you read the reviews yes some things need upgrading but its a charming stay after wine tasting all day.

We picked Geneva as a stopping point in our road trip from Detroit to Boston. Their suites have so much space which is great after being in the car for many hours. The room was clean and the bedding comfortable. Close to food options and centrally located to explore the Finger Lakes.

This location on beautiful Sneca Lake is only matched by Como and Maggiore in Northern Italy! BUT.....in this entire hotel there is not one room with a BALCONY!!! Incredibly poor planning. The windows are double hung square bargain type in every room and one has to walk up to the window to see the lake. Very disappointing. Also, this location is short staffed and while room service is listed as an amenity I was asked to pick up our breakfast order ? The in house phone lines were a rapid busy tone in the am and I needed to contact the front desk via my Phone using an outside line at 8am...very mediocre and far from relaxing stay! I will return ONLY for the magnificent Martini I enjoyed at the Bar!!

Well done, Fairfield Geneva! Our stay far exceeded our expectations. The staff seem genuinely happy. Everyone was friendly and smiled easily. Check-in was a breeze and we really appreciated that our Marriott membership was recognized. Thank you! Everything looked clean and well maintained. Our king bed was very comfortable. The location has the benefit of being walkable - Walgreens, Wegman’s, and other stores are right there. Only two areas for improvement: the water pressure in the shower was a bit weak and some additional fresh breakfast choices would be great. Fairfield Inn will be our go-to choice for future visits to Geneva.

My wife and I stopped in at the Hilton after a day of driving. It was very late at night and we were exhausted. We checked in to this hotel with anticipation of a good night rest. The hotel was very dated and not well kept. The room was blah. Ground floor. Seemed like an accessible room. The room had a musky odour. The bed was lumpy and the air conditioner was loud and inconsistent in air flow. Needless to say our sleep was less than restful. We checked out early. Didn’t stay for the complimentary breakfast. The front desk was very pleasant and tried to be helpful. I just couldn’t bother saying anything. Knowing that I will never return and likely look at other brands in the future.

My wife and I spent 5 nights in the "classic suite" and our stay couldn't have been better. The suite was wonderful, great view of the gardens and lake and clean and comfortable. From the front desk staff to housekeeping to dining room and maintenance staff, all friendly, courteous helpful. Morning coffee great, we ordered some online for home. Easily accessible to all the Geneva wineries and restaurants.

The place has old charm but it is dirty. The carpet has stains and the odor reminds me of my grandmother’s dirt basement in her early 1900s home. The room consists of an old metal frame bed, outdated bathroom and a few old chairs. To benefit from the amenities at the castle you need to drive about 5 minutes. The windows are old and bolted shut (fire hazard). I feel like the place has been left unattended for years and you need to check in at the castle (which is in fine print on the bottom of the email). Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere.
