My daughter had a 40th birthday party with approx 60 family and friend's. It was lovely food and staff. As it was my birthday as well my daughter booked a room for us for the night . Beautiful room but on the top floor. I have copd and really struggled to get up there . Anyway Mr and Mrs hands were also at the party. So I mentioned to them and they immediately gave us a room in the courtyard and got a member of staff to go with Mrs Hands and my husband to bring all our clothes etc downstairs . We were so grateful ? to them and was touched by their kindness ❤. Wonderful owner's and so grateful. Thank you ?

On a business trip and the staff were very attentive. Clean and comfortable room with lovely views. Cosy hotel and nice relaxing atmosphere. Sharon at reception was an amazing host and she even dropped me off to my morning meeting as I could not find a taxi. She was a star! Highly recommended hotel.

After struggling what to get my husband for his birthday I decided on a weekend away which would include a R.S.P.B as we both enjoy visiting them. After searching on Google I found Edale Vale b&b in the lovley Forest of Dean with R.S.P.B on the doorstep.. Anyway we arrived to a warm welcome from the owners Peter & Jane . Peter led us to the lounge and made us a much needed cup of tea and explained how to order breakfast for the next day and about the bar where you can help yourself and just write what you had and your rm number o n a pad they leave in the bar . He also gave some leaflets of places to visit and list of places to eat . We decided to eat next door a pub called the woodsman which was good they do nice fish n chips very much recommended . The next morning we had really good cooked breakfast to set us up for the day . That evening we decided to go a place called Lyndy a biggish town not to far away and found a nice Thai restaurant called NG THAI FOOD very much recommended it . As for the b& b it's the bedroom was very nice decorated and comfortable and a nice view to and I really took a liking to the photos of the local places they really good . So I like to say thank Peter and Jane for a enjoyable stay and we definitely like to come back as we found much more to do and see the forest of Dean .

Award winning bed and breakfast in the Forest of Dean. We have 5 rooms all en suite rooms, along side the B&B we have a multi award winning restaurant serving locally sourced items on a Daily changing menu. We also have a selection of local ales and soft drinks
We had a lovely stay at the Miner’s Sling. The updated rooms are comfortable and stylish. Lovely touch of leaving goody bags on the beds for the children. Water, milk and juice supplied in the fridge outside of the rooms was also a nice touch. You could hear some noise from the pub downstairs but this didn’t stop our toddlers from getting to sleep. Breakfast was also great with a good selection. For only £20 more than the nearest Premier Inn, I would say it was good value for money.
