Astounding natural wonders, invigorating outdoor recreation and fascinating cultural attractions make Flagstaff the perfect getaway to rejuvenate the body and replenish the mind. Set at the base of the beautiful San Francisco Peaks, and surrounded by lush national forests, the city provides ample opportunity for fresh air fun. Spring, summer and fall bring hikers, campers and mountain bikers, while winter draws skiers and ice skaters. But don't let a focus on the "good old outdoors" fool you. Fostered by the local university, Flagstaff is also chock-full of educational and cultural attractions. Be sure to see the award-winning permanent exhibit "Native Peoples of the Colorado Plateau" at the Museum of Northern Arizona. The Pioneer Museum offers a glimpse of what life was like for the early settlers of the region and includes a 1929 Baldwin locomotive in its collection. The city also has an arboretum and a planetarium. The entire area is a living anthropology and geology lesson, with ancient Native American ruins and stunning scenery at the Wupatki and Walnut Canyon National Monuments, just waiting to be explored.

Stayed in Flagstaff for 2 nites with 9 year old daughter and we loved the new hotel. We’ve stayed at sister properties and were looking forward to this hotel opening. Still brand new so spa and sauna weren’t open yet but are on track to open soon. Beds were very comfortable, game room was fun and had a few board games (more needed), and the pizza was amazing!!!! Great decor everywhere, loved having a small refrigerator in the room and the staff was very helpful and engaging. Check out Walnut Canyon for the Cliff dwellings when you’re in the area. We will return to HCML.

A very standard room at a premium price. If this is the best I Flagstaff there is some serious opportunity for some new good hotels. Overpriced and needs renovation, no maid service unless requested Won stay here again. Needs to be updated to modern architecture.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a suite, which was great. Nice location, but some of the one way streets are tricky. Great Kickback as always, and the breakfast was good also. Nice lobby and dining area.

We were traveling with a pet and requested a first floor room. We were greeted warmly and given a perfect room with side entrance access. The room was quiet, clean and very comfortable. It was close to great restaurants and near a fabulous dog park. Breakfast was fantastic and in a gorgeous dining room. Next time we're close we'll stay there longer. We highly recommend it.

For the price, excellent breakfast and clean room. Stayed 4 nights-Not sure you will find anything better at this price point! Walls a little thin and my 11yr old son overheard something in the middle of the night that was awkward … but overall we just needed a homebase for exploring Sedona and the surrounding areas-would stay again!

We paid $217 for a half-size room with two queen beds. The room was half the size of what would be considered a normal-sized room. The translucent sliding bathroom door did not lock (broken). The bathroom was confined and the toilet and tub was not separate from the sink counter. So a lot of waiting to use either. The room and facility felt like a squeeze for money. The breakfast was menial, especially considering the price we paid. Basic items. Other BW have much better selection of breakfast items, ample rooms, and overall value. The hallway trim was out and under repair. Our view was that of a haul-away dumpster. We definitely felt overcharged and will never return.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet. They had JR Watkins products in the bathroom, which I like. The breakfast buffet was better than average. I’m deducting a star for the ridiculous $5 parking charge. For what??

This place is filthy, poorly maintained and the maintenance staff goes out of their way to be rude and unwelcoming. Loud party and drug use in nearby rooms and traffic noise through paper thin walls made for a poor nights sleep. Breakfast was advertised as omelets and burritos, but was dry cereal and old bread. No dog spaces. The room was grimy. Will never ever stay here again.

I stayed two nights during the week in this hotel and got a really good price which was well below Hilton/IHG/Marriott competitors. I was really impressed because the hotel seems new and is well furnished with a modern style. My bedroom facing the moutains was so quiet and so cleaned. No issue withe trains or the traffic. Great Digital TV and bed was great. The room was huge and cleaned. The employee at the front desk were really dedicated and professional. I also liked the parking spaces located under the building preventing the heat in your car. You can also easely walk to Flagstaff center which is really convenient where you will find several bars. Breweries amd many restaurants. The breakfirst was classic like any other hotel of this range. I also liked the sitting area outside where you can have a drink. Well, you are facing the traffic but it is always nice to sip a drink outside after a long day.
