Most visitors to Fiumicino arrive by plane and immediately continue on to Rome, but—in addition to being home to Italy’s busiest airport—the coastal town doubles as a beach resort during the summer months. There’s also Ostia Antica archaeological site, which is just a short drive away.

This was a nice little getaway from Rome for a flight out. Had a nice pool area and snack bar. A little pizza place next door. They were friendly and accommodating to get me an early taxi to the airport. Bonus trio to amazing Ostia Antica ruins. Number 4 bus goes right from the ruins to the hotel. Nor much else around but you could take the bus back to town for more dinner options.

We only spent one night here before a flight from FCO. The location is very close to the airport. I was surprised to find out that the hotel is in a part of the city that is a vibrant fishing port. There are LOTS of restaurants and bars within walking distance. We booked a superior room with a water view and it was GIGANTIC! We had two decks, a large bed and a ton of space. The bathroom shower was bigger than usual Italian too. Everything was great - it was soundproof and the curtains provided a very dark room. The staff was very friendly. Parking was super easy and only 5 euro per day. The breakfast was decent too - lots of homemade pastries. This was probably the best hotel airport we've stayed in. I would recommend this hotel, especially if you are flying in or out of FCO. There are a lot of places to walk in the immediate area and it's even near a beach. We were mesmerized by the fishing boats and the hard work those folks do. The price for our room was extremely reasonable too. Wifi worked well.

Isola Sacra proved to be a great way to wrap up our Italian holiday and easily catch an early morning flight out of Rome. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are well appointed with spacious balconies overlooking gardens and a lovely pool. The hotel's bar and restaurant seem to be quite popular (tip: make a reservation) and the relaxing, sophisticated atmosphere kept us in "vacation mode" for one more night, all at a reasonable price. Aside from the fact that I was truly impressed with the property and convenience, the experience that motivated me to write the review was the kindness of Front Office representative Giulia Midea who helped me out when I was in a bit of pinch after having lost a small, but important, travel bag. Thank you, Giulia!!

Never again ! The hotel rooms look like a scary motel from american movies. Everything is dirty, old and destroyed. There was a mould in The bathroom and doors were falling apart. No attractions for children, not even a one slide. The overall service is terrible and veeeery slow. I would not recommend it to anyone

It was surprisingly a awesome place near the Airport. The hotel was clean and updated. The staff was very helpful and spoke English. I am Italian-American and they spoke very well. The town that was a few blocks away was so cool. A fishing and small cruise ship area with a pier at the mouth of the Tiber river. There was a grocery store and plenty of restaurants. It was a great place to stay.

Old fishermen's houses have become a dream hotel ... we returned their soul but with modern imprint, taking care of the details and recovering the flavor of the past. An oasis of peace within walking distance from the airport and from the eternal city!
We needed a room near FCO prior to an early morning departure and this hotel was PERFECT. The neighborhood is typical on the edge of a major international airport, but then the gate to this charming hotel opens and it's a little paradise. The hotel manager, Stefano, was warm, welcoming, and even prepared dinner for us when we arrived. (I had arranged for that in advance.) We weren't going to be there for breakfast because of our departure time, but Stefano brought us a try with some Biscottato, jams, Nutella, and coffee/tea packets. Don't hesitate if you need a night by the FCO airport - and while we didn't get to see it, there's also a nearby beach community with restaurants, etc., in season. Thank you, Stefano, for a welcoming stay at your hotel.

This B&B sits in the middle of a nice, quaint waterfront community. It is a very cool place to walk around and we found a great restaurant from the many available. The rooms are clean and there was an optional, very basic continental breakfast in the morning. We were pleasantly surprised at the area and the B&B! I would recommend it for anyone wanting to spend a nice day prior to flying out of the Rom-Fiumicino Airport.

What an outstanding place. The rooms, large and clean. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful.. it is only a few minutes from the airport and a 5 min walk from Fuimicino town centre where there are plenty of bars and restaurants, especially good if you like seafood. Great value for money, would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

If you plan on arriving late due to a late train/flight be aware there is no 24hour concierge service. We arrived to find the door locked despite emailing our flight landed at 11:30pm and we’d arrive around midnight. We then called the hotel; a rude gentlemen awoke to let us in and told us he would then lock the door after so we couldn’t leave. We hadn’t eaten for several hours and had no water so I had to plead in order to go to the takeaway opposite just to get some pasta and water. The room though was pleasant and clean although the crossfit gym next door plays incredibly loud bass music from the early hours. The next morning I was then rudely greeted with give me your passport. No greeting... no how was your stay? Safe to say I will never return and urge others to spend their money elsewhere.
